CLASS ACTION LAWSUIT FOR HARRASSMENT!!!

They call me everyday and wake me up, they want me to fill out a W-9 and want a copy of my Social Security card. NO WAY!! They already have ALL our information and we are never late with our mortgage. I'm ready to talk to an attorney, THIS IS STRAIGHT UP HARRASSMENT!! WHY DO I HAVE TO DEAL WITH INDIA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I'M AN AMERICAN! I THINK THEY ARE TRYING TO STEAL MY IDENTITY! GOOD LUCK A-HOLES! LEAVE ME ALONE!!!!

They called on a Sunday even after I wrote them to stop calling me as I have no business with them.  We need to sue them.

I am really nervous after reading these posts.  Our loan was recently sold.to them and they have started calling every day.  They refuse to talk to me...though my name is on the mortgage...will only talk to my husband...and they always call when he is at work or busy.  We have excellent credit...never late.  I do not want to do business with them!

I have not called them.back yet, I see.this is a.mortage company who bought out which mortage company?   These people need.to stop calling.

Left message saying, "This is Auckland Loan Servicing Company, please call back at 1(800) 746-2936."
Leaves a message daily.

This is indeed OCWEN...the absolute worst mortgage servicer one could ask for.  In over 12 years have not once had a late payment on our mortgage and when the servicing for our loan was taken over by this outfit the calls have been monthly asking when is the payment coming?  The due date is the first of the month and the grace period allows up to the 15th.  It has been paid on the 15th if not sooner every time but they now claim it is "late" but when I say it is within the grace period they say that I do not understand what that means and that the "grace period" is to allow for processing of payments due on the first of the month.  I have asked them repeatedly not to call and without fail starting on the sixth or so of the month the calls come time and time again.  I either ignore them or once they come on tell them not to call and hang up.  A portfolio of loans from IndyMac Bank loans were sold to this provider and if the interest rate were not so low I would refinance simply to get away from these idiots!

Good luck with Ocwen they did  and are doing the same thing with me.  They did buy my mortgage and stopped accepting payments on the account.  They are in business to take property you need to refi asap if possible they are the worst company to deal with.  I am now 6 months in default because they stopped taking my payments.  I have contacted the attorney generals office. and have not had much help as of now.  I want to send everything I owe but they hang up set appointments then will not send paper work.    Repeat get rid of them ASAP if at all possible.!!!!!!

This 800 number has called me 7 times over the last 4 days. I am outraged, it turns out my mortgage company sold my mortgage to this company shortly after settlement (which occurred less than a month ago so we know the mortgage payment isn't late!!!) When I call the number back they claim to be a collection agency and the automated service asks for an account number. Well at the time I didn't know I even had an account with ocwen let alone know what the account number was.  Since I didn't have any such info I hung up and assumed they would call back. Boy did they ever. They called me the next day and asked me for the last 4 digits of my ss# so they could verify who I was. I told them they called me!  They should know who I am, I however would not be disclosing any confidential info to them. We were at a stalemate. I told them to mail me information.  They said they would. Less than 12 hours later I get another call from this number again asking for my ss# again I tell them the same thing. I have no idea who they are and I am not disclosing any information to them. I then proceed to tell them at least 5 times on the phone to stop harassing me. I received an insurance document in the mail today notifying me that the mortgage was sold and it provides the name ocwen. Then I looked up the 800 number and based on comments from others it seems to be the same company. This is unacceptable behavior.  

They just called me at work, and I know I did not provide my work number to my previous mortgage lender.  How they received this number is beyond me.  I cut the lady off on the other end of the line telling her I wouldn't be providing my social security number before she finished asking for it.  She wanted to verify my account with other information.  I told her, I have no other information.  No account number has been sent to me.  I suppose I appreciate that they are "on top of things" but hunting me down at work is unacceptable.

I recently refinanced and my mortgage was sold to Ocwen.  They have called the past three days at 8:00 a.m.  I didn't answer the first time because I didn't recognize the number but the voice message said, "This is Ocwen Mortgage.  Please call us back at 800-746-2936."  She didn't say that she was asking for me, didn't tell me what it was regarding.  I called back and never was able to speak to someone, nor did I learn anything because I have yet to receive paperwork (with my account number) in the mail.  I answered the second call the next day.  The woman on the other end of the line immediately asked for me by name, and then asked me to verify the last four digits of my SSN.  I asked what this call was in regards to, and she said, "I'll tell you that when you give me the last four digits of your social."  I told her I'd wait to receive documentation in the mail from Ocwen.  I figured that might stop the calls; however, I received another call this morning and when I answered an automated message said, "Thank you for continuing to hold.  Your call will be answered in the order it was received."  Really?  You called me.  And then the other end of the line clicked.  I'm hoping this process to date isn't indicative of how my mortgage processing will go.  I don't owe my first payment to them until next month, so hopefully their communication skills improve.

Beware there's 585 633 1814 calling me four time in a day, pretest to be IRS agent , exhorting money, and there is other Medicare scam, well they're  in automated  voice mail , were previously with the same accent of these people. probably they ,we were able to con some senior ,now they have to  use automated American accent.
Note: IRS  will sent letter with IRS TOLL NUMBER  and they also will sent you appointment date to talk to them.
Register your telephone number at DO NOT CALL LIST!  you will be able to collect $16000 per call, complain to FTC

You have alternative  get HARP program ,Instead of HAMP. HAMP is people behind their payment , since you said you are on time, maybe you want to try HARP . I know some one can help you.

Register your phone number with DO NOT CALL LIST! they will be  fine $16000 per call, let unite and   closed them down with CLASS ACTION Lawsuit.

Register your telephone to DO NOT CALL LIST! if they call again save their message and report them to FTC , and you can sue for $16,000 per call,  if you can proof they call you.

We need a class action against this ocween servicing bank, they also buying 2nd TD that already discharge on BK, they had automated phone call leaving message with out introducing from where calls from, I found out1800 746 2936 is from Ocween, the GUY answer with strong India or Negerian Accent asking my account number or SS#, I told him
The most I can give him is my telephone , my mistake I even give him my address which shouldn't. It's amazing he can not find my account. Well, if that call is very important they could sent me a letter, why calling.to those people who had no business with this incompetent Ocween loan servicing  , start put your name on NO CALL LIST! You can report them to FTC  and sue them $16,000 penalty per call. Let unite to put this cruel loan  servicing to close down. Did anyone received phone calls from 585 6331814 ?,with the same accent exhorting people pretest as IRS agent , now they continue calling but change to American accent automated call. Beware do not give away your personal Identity.

     They claim they are Ocwen. I can barely understand the middle eastern accent. Yes we do have a mortgage with them only because they took over American Home Mortgage company last year. But we are upstanding on our credit and our payments, never late. Yet when they leave messages they say that they are calling due to being behind. That just isn't true.
      The other thing that makes me cringe is the fact that Ocwen is not supposed to be contacting us on our home phone. We have a cell phone that we activated specifically for all of the companies we have bills with. The called i.d. on my home phone never says Ocwen, only unavailable. That raises another flag as to why I feel this is a scam. They also ignore all of my questions.

A man, apparently from India, left this number on our answering machine but he spoke so fast you literally could not understand him.  I think he worked at an auction house prior to this job.  All is in order so we should not be getting this random call.  I am not calling back.  Any respectable company would not conduct themselves this way.

that is because they are in INDIA 99 percent of calls I have dealing with these people come from India. They took over my loan just has my husband passed away. I worked with a non profit to do a modification which I was declined because I pay on time and they do no feel I am not in  jeopardy of being in default .I am afraid they will come after what I was left in life insurance as they consider it an asset during a short sale. Since my loan was bought I have had to listen to messages I cannot understand and they call and never leave a message I call back and the call will not go through rings and just static.  The most unprofessional group I have ever dealt with.  We had our home number changed and I did not let them know and they got it somehow my Mother is 90 and they call her all day I have to update do not call register frequently as we seem to drop off in less that 2 weeks.  Our government and country depends on other countries far to much.  Help us speak to American's when it concerns our money and credit.  Also, I do not like having to pick my language I wish to speak.  I have had bad reports from them and the calls and letters cross paths and my loan is not even late it is within the days of no extra fee.

these people are very rude they call you 4 or 5 times a day even when your payment has already been made  i have had back surgery and have ask them to please quit calling and they just call more they need to get a life and quit herrassing people they would not want people to do that to them

Just got a call from this number. He couldn't answer a simple question of what the purpose of this call was. Don't have a mortgage with them. Lost the house 5 years ago in bankruptcy and all was settled and done with. The guy spoke broken English and sounded middle eastern.

After the 6th time asking him to state what the purpose of the call was with no answer I told him to never call this number again and hung up on him. Scam artists looking to take advantage of people.

Lisa, we have been trying to re-finance our mortgage x2 years since this stupid company was given our loan by the original mortgage company. We are an elderly couple and cannot find anyone to take over this mortgage from these crazy people. We will continue to look, hopefully someone will pick it up. But since we were almost destroyed by Katrina, the mortgage companies here are hesitant to take on any low interest loans such as ours.

Definitely let me know if there is something we as mortgagees can do to stop these people. My mortgage was sold to them without our knowledge or notification until they did it. Then we had the same thing happen, the original mortgage said do not send them payments until we were told that the "deal" went through. We continued sending payments to the original mortgage then started getting nasty letters from Ocwen saying they had not been paid!! Now these annoying calls, my next step (after reading all these same complaints) is to report them to the BBB which I'm sure won't do any good but will at least give me a paper trail in case these kooks try anything with my home. My home is a low mortgage $$ remaining and I think that's mostly the problem with them. They did not speak English and it's horrible to get these calls day in and day out, it's totally unacceptable. This country is being slowly taken over and I fear what the future will hold for many young people. God help us all.

I am also in the same position as many of the people who have replied to getting calls from these people. My original mortgage was sold to these people without our knowledge or input!!!! We have not been late on our payment and I am receiving calls on a daily basis. When I answer they said they want to speak about my mortgage. Then I say, "what about it?" and then they hem haw around and don't speak any English. Then the guy who just called me (after my comment), said "oh let me check your account"...I got livid!!! I told him (which I've done several times) to take my number off their data base or I would begin to log the calls and have their number blocked from my phone. He immediately hung up after that! They are the most horrible people to do business with, we are currently trying to find a local company here to pick up this mortgage. It is a low $$ mortgage so I guess they don't want to handle the account anymore and decided if they aggravate you enough, you'll find someone else to handle the loan. THEY ARE HORRIBLE!!!!!
