they charged 192 on my credit card for something I did not sign up for
and I file a report with my bank but have not had any luck

it was 129 on my credit card but made my bank over drawen 183.00 and I want this pepole stoped

it belongs to usa business group they make it so you dont pay attention to the terms and conditions and then bill you when you call they will stop charging but you cant get your money back after the 14 day trial period unless its considered fraud

on the 8th a charge to my bank in the ammount of $129.85 have no idea what it is for, my account went in the negative and my vehicle payment was unable to be made and caused my account to go into the negative, I am furious. And you call them and they give you the run around saying you did not read the terms and conditions and did not follow the instructions, bunch of scam artist and the ladies name I spoke with was Jennifer and then I supposibly spoke with a manager his name was Chris. What a joke they like to mess with peoples.

They got me for 129 also. I intend to get my money back. I have received nothing for my money accept overdraft carges from my bank.

i haven't spoken with anyone...don't remember getting any type trial offer...in the mail or by phone yet i was charged 39.85 and then 129.85...closing down account to avoid additional charges...

My credit card statement had 2 charges from Online Biz/Marketing 38.85 & 129.85 , between 8/20 & 9/6/08. The phone # listed on my bill is 800-749-3304. I called this # but the call would not go through. I closed my account, before they charge again, but I want my money refunded....any ideas ?

I received a charge of $129.85 and theses people do not know what they represent and what they do and it is a scam.

They are taking money from ny credit card. I didn't sign up for anything from them.

This number was one that appeared on my credit card statement. I had no idea who it was or why they took $39.95 out of my account.  I called and they told me it was a business that I had supposedly signed up with in May '08, and they had the right to take my money.  That was total BULL.  I argued that they had no right and I wanted my money back.  They argued back telling me they don't offer refunds for ANY reasons whatsoever.  It took me about 20 min. of yelling at them to get me nowhere.  My husband called back and argued the same points with them, and let them know that we were on to their scams.  I'm PROUD to say that my money WAS refunded!!!  I got every penny back they took from me.  Anyone else who has fallen victim to their scam can do the same.  Let them know without a doubt you're on to them, along with thousands of others.  Tell them you've reported them to the BBB.  They'll get scared and give you a refund.  It did take them a little bit longer to refund it, longer than the 5 days they told me, but that was all in the issue of my new card.  I had to cancel the old card, and they had to wait for my new card to be issued before the refund took place.  Put your foot DOWN and get your money back.  I wish the best to you ALL.

I am in the same boat as most of you.
I recived the email from my grandma, so i signed up.

well, a month later, i never got anything.
and the company took 39.85 out of my account.
I fought it with my bank,(i told them what happened and that i did agree to the first amount but not this one) and they put the money back, including the overdraft fee's.  
well not even two weeks later, they took out 129.85, that i didn't agree to.
My bank is fighting this one too, and replacing my card, so it won't happen again.
I just called the company and they said that they didn't know why it happened.

I TOO GOT CHARGED THE $129.85.  I HAD NO CLUE WHAT THE CHARGE WAS FOR, SO I CALLED THE 800 NUMBER AND STAYED ON HOLD FOR A VERY LONG TIME.  FINALLY A MAN CAME ONLINE AND TOLD ME WHAT IT WAS, AND YES I HAD TRIED THE GOVERNMENT GRANT PROGRAM (WHICH WAS THROUGH AN EMAIL I RECEIVED), WHICH DID NOT HELP ME AT ALL WITH ANYTHING.  PART OF THIS IS MY OWN FAULT DUE TO AGREEING TO TERMS AND CONDITIONS, WITHOUT PAYING CLOSE ATTENTION TO ALL THAT THEY ASK.  NEVERTHELESS, THAT IS A HUGE CHARGE FOR ME TO LOSE, SO I TOLD HIM TO CANCEL IT.  I ALSO ASKED ABOUT A REFUND, AND HE SAID THERE WOULD BE NO REFUND.  THEN WHAT WAS THE POINT IN CANCELLING IT?  SO I TOLD HIM I HAVE TWO KIDS AT HOME, AND MY INCOME IS $600/MONTH, AND HE WAS KEEPING $130 OF THAT, SO I HOPE HIS COMPANY WAS HAPPY.  AND I TOLD HIM I WAS GOING TO BE GETTING OVERDRAFTS, AND MY BANK DID NOT FORGIVE OVERDRAFT CHARGES. (THIS IS ALL TRUE THAT I TOLD HIM).  HE SAID THEY WOULD REFUND ME $100, WHICH IS MUCH APPRECIATED.  I TOLD HIM I HOPED IT GOT TO MY BANK BEFORE THE OVERDRAFTING GOT STARTED.  HE SAID IN 7-10 BUSINESS DAYS, IF NOT BEFORE.  I TOLD HIM THAT THE PROGRAM NEVER DID GIVE ME ANYTHING I COULD USE.  AND THAT IT WAS NOT WORTH THAT MUCH MONEY TO ME, SINCE I COULDN'T USE IT.  I DID TELL HIM THAT I HAD FOUND A PLACE ON THE NET THAT CALLED HIS GROUP A SCAM, AND THAT THERE WERE LOTS OF COMPLAINTS ABOUT MONEY BEING TAKEN OUT OF ACCOUNTS WITHOUT PERMISSION.  THAT IS WHEN HE SAID THEY WOULD REFUND THE $100.  I WILL NOT FEEL BAD FOR LOSING  THE $29.85, SINCE ALL LESSONS LEARNED SEEM TO BE COSTLY.  THIS ONE IS JUST NOT AS COSTLY AS IT COULD HAVE BEEN.  HE ALSO TOLD ME THAT I SHOULDN'T BELIEVE ALL THESE NEGATIVE COMMENTS, AS THEY HAVE 160,000 SATISFIED MEMBERS.

Ain't this special. I just looked at my bank statement online, and found a $39.95 debit to these A**LES. About a week ago I clicked a link to an instant access .pdf file for $1.95. At the moment I don't know what it was for. I do know the file was corrupt, and wouldn't open.
Doesn't sound like it would have done me any good to call and complain huh?

So since my bank's policy is "if you've done business with ___ in the past, we cannot stop electronic transfers". Which means tomorrow I have to close my bank account.

Attempted to charge me several times then when I recently loaded my Wal-Mart Visa Debit card they charged me $129

They are taking money from a credit card.

So if your credit card says "Online Biz" then I don't know who they are. Could still be OBS. But I do know it isn't "Online Biz Direct"...otherwise I'd know you personally.

"Online Biz Direct LLC" is an online business consulting company. We don't charge anybody that we don't know and consult on a personal level.

But I have grown weary of the assumptions and the rage we've encountered from whomever this "Online Biz" organization is. And yes I have talked to them at the 800# you are complaining about. They do acknowledge that the Merchant ID (the part on your credit card) is not actually the name of their company. They also acknowledge that the Merchant Identifier is confusing. If you call the 800# they will give you their real name.

So I guess as far as my company goes...I just have to sit back and let the assumptions, lashings and slander continue...because people tack on a few extra words to a company name based on what Yahoo and Google says. How sad.

On my credit card it says Online Biz so it is the same company and they are crooks!

I am confused how does clicking on an ad allow access to you cc information? It appears that you provided them with your information. I use eBay and I often click on items to get descriptions and never once has this caused my card to be billed. If this is how they got your cc information then you really need to report this to eBay as well.

Ummm...You need to be a little careful about tossing business names around...slandering one when you are targeting another.

Online Biz Direct IS NOT...NOT...NOT...NOT the company you are talking about. There are assumptions being made because people's credit card statements show ONLBIZ. That doesn't say Online Biz -Direct-...does it?

But my company has been getting ALL of these complaints...well maybe not all, but I get yelled at at least once per day and a ton of emails telling me to quit charging their cards. I've even taken my website down and only put notices up tell you all you need to know.

they did not call me but Google payday uses this number and got slammed w/ a  129.00 charge supposedly for information on how to get money from Google Payday

In reply to people losing your money to this scam.I only being 1 that has gotten a refund on the money that they took.You have to let them know that you are on to the scam that they are running,also letting them know about all the other people that have had money taken from them by this same number.What took my wife about 20 min. of screaming and yelling to get her nowhere,took me about 8 mins.to get the money back.I was also told that my refund would be back on from where it was taken from in 5 business days.We will see in 5 days if they were b***s***ing me or not.If so,I'll be back on the phone once again.
