I requested a quote for central AC through Home Advisors on line.  Found a contractor.  But this number is Sears and they kept calling and calling every 10 min.  I called back and said please remove my name.  Calls still coming in.  I tried to listen to the messages, it was always a women's voice, and she can barely speak English, its all slurred, she sounds like she is DRUNK!!! I'm not kidding.

I called back, got a guy that seems to understand to remove my name.  But I still don't understand why they have people in customer service that don't speak ENGLISH clearly.  That is just plan stupid!

After two requests, (and I'm keeping track) they better remove my name!

They called twice yesterday.  Once they left a message.  The other time no message.  They just called again today, AT 8:10 A.M.  How RUDE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  Said they were Sears.  They woke me up.  I am sooooo mad.

I keep getting a call from some Sears person in Ohio saying I signed up saying I wanted to replace my windows. I never did that and now they wont stop calling!

If you call HomeAdvisor at 1-877-800-3177 they will remove your name from the list of contractors they contact.  I was told my information was received by them five days ago.  I know this is information I didn't submit, especially since they are using incredibly outdated and bogus information.  

I've received the Sears calls as well as calls from a local contractor who verified that he purchased the lead from homeadvisor.com.

Caller left message at 2:00 pm. today, October 3, 2013. Caller stated "I am from Sears regarding kitchen repairs." Never called Sears regarding any home improvements. Need to put a stop to these kinds of calls. I have received at least 5 calls over the last 10 days at all times of day or evening. Nuisance calls.

These people have called me 49 times this week, ranging from 5:15am to 11:45 at night. I have told them numerous times that they are to not contact me anymore, and now they are making threats. I highly recommend reporting them to the FCC, as I have done. They are NOT actually sears! They are a scam company.

Yea... I got a call and voicemail from them... A lady picked up when I called back. I just told her they had the wrong number and she said she would let the people know its a wrong number... So praying for no more calls or issues!

Some of these comments are funny.  You or somebody on your behalf gave out your number to some home improvement contracting website.  homeadvisor.com was the one I used. If you give out your number, you will get calls!

CALL NEVER SAY ANYTHING

Not legit. At all. I called the number and they claimed someone with a made up name called them for an estimate on a heating and cooling system. I told her that I am on the do not call list and WILL file complaints, ans she was legitimately concerned. I then called Sears, their heating and cooling number, and they said that  this number is not associated with Sears.

I'm only 15. I don't answer the call but it leaves me a voicemail & it's sounds fuzzy a man maybe Indian with broken English . I can't barely understand  the voicemail. IT CALLS ME EVERYDAY !!! EVERY 3hrs!!! IT'S ANNOYING !!!?!?!?!?

It's Sears. I just hang up.

I am looking to get hardwood floors in my house.  I am in the process of getting estimates now. I went on Costco's site to check them out and request an estimate, but now it is SEARS who is calling to schedule an appt.

It is Sear's home improvement and I missed the first call.  Based on these responses, I called the number back and requested my phone number be removed.  We'll see.

They called me from 4 different numbers within 15 minutes. One number shows to be Sears. One number has an unknown name, but comes from Denver, and the other 2 come from Burlington, NC.. They can call and call all they want. I don't answer ANY '800' number. I don't answer ANY number from an area code that I don't recognize. I don't answer ANY number that I don't personally recognize.

constant calling is very irritating -- will try to do as above people have suggested -- Sears should be ashamed

I had asked for an estimate on some home remodeling thru a site called Service Magic. They gave me three contractors...one of which is Sears. I'm interested in the other 2 but have had bad experiences with the quality of Kenmore products so I'm not interested in Sears. They called twice but the last call from this 800 number they didnt leave a message so i didnt know where the call came from. Guess i'll have to answer next time and tell them i'm not interested.

They called my cell phone over 20 times over the course of a week span.  They left a message the first time, but I did not answer and they proceeded to call at all hours of the day, multiple times every single day.  I have never purchased anything from Sears nor have they ever done any installation work or business with me.  Not sure who's system they hacked to get my cell phone number.  Finally I picked up the phone and gave them a order to cease calling this phone number and threatened to press harassment charges with law enforcement if it did not stop immediately.  Hopefully this stops the annoyance!

This started with my completing an online request for replacement windows and my request was given to a number of area companies. It did stop when I amnswered and said: "You have the wrong number." It is frpom Sears.

It is real.  After the initial call to solicit a free estimate, I was asked to call back to this number to confirm.  Instead, I called the number on Sears Home Improvement site and they were able to confirm there was an appointment in my file and transfer me to the confirmations desk.  Weird way to do business, but at least it was legit.   However, the sales person who originally called said they carried more than 15 manufacturers (I was interested in windows) which turned out to be false.  They only carry one brand of vinyl windows.
