This is a scam. Do NOT give them any indormation! They say they need to "verify" information. DO NOT let them fool you. They are trying to GET your information to use in some scam against you.

I get a call from these people everyday or more left on our machine, I owe them nothing and they ask for a person that I never heard of and I want these harrassing calls to stop. We are retired we have NO DEBTS!!!!! They ask for Tiasheda, who is that???? Leave us alone!

They call asking for a name in household, claiming to be debt collection and want me to give them last 4 of SSN - no way.  I indicated we have no debt to collect (only debt is mortgage which is paid on time every time.

Very nasty if you won't provide answer and then got angry with me and 'ended the call'.  

I anticipate this won't be the last call.

Asking for someone that does not live here, I want them to stop before I turn them in

They are tryin to collect for a very old credit card i explained our financial situation and the guy treated me like garbage rude unprofessional and down right belittleing. i was humiliated wouldn't accept what iac afford on a pension sooo i dont know what to say

They call every day for so person I've never heard of even after telling them they have the wrong number

They keep calling leaving a message on my machine claiming that they are trying to collect a debt. As I have no debts other than my mortgage which is always paid on time, this does not make any sense. Based on the messages I have read here, my take is it is a scam.

Debt collection agency called. They were asking for a person with same last name, but wrong first name. Report these calls to the BBB, the FTC, and anyone else who will listen.

calls claiming to be calling from providian, had an account with them in 2005 and they sold the account to SST. I paid SST off, (balance, etc was transferred) in 2007, and these a***s think that I still owe the amount that was transferred in the sale, plus interest and fees. ACI is bottom feeder scum.

That is part of their strategy to get information and money from you

I received two restricted calls from them on my cell phone. After I asked them the guy not to call my cell phone again to use my home number, he continued to call but this time showing up on my cell phone under this New York number. The guy claimes that he represented Providian and that we owe on an account with them. I had an account with them that was discharged when I had to claim bankruptcy.

They called me too i spoke to the guy explained our position financially with my husband bein out of work the guy was rude nasty and 2 total jerk all i can say is someday if he is like alot of us out here strugglin he gets the same type call and who ever he speaks to treats him like a piece of garbage like he did me. It was humiliating

Got a call at 8a.m. and it was restricted my kid answered and they asked for me but I was not here.  
They left a number for me to call back 800-753-0628.  If this a collection
agency they have no reason to call me as I have no debts.

I just got a call too. with that same message. I'm not calling back because other google information on this number it appears to be a scam

I didn't answer, but they called twice with 10 minutes between calls.
