got the same post card. did a little research into "fastway couriers" which is a legitimate shipping company apparently. The only problem is that its in Australia and they have no knowledge of anything coming out of Orlando, FL or anywhere in the US for that matter. All I can give is a warning to anyone who is researching this before calling them. THIS IS A SCAM >>> DON'T FALL FOR IT!!!

We got a post card today through mail from Fastway Couriers.....says the same thing as the older reports.  That we have a package that they are holding unless we give authorization by phone.  Same phone number to call....I'm glad I researched this online.  I'm not falling for this scam..or whatever it's is.

my story is a little different i was on facebook and this guy sent me a parcel through the company got an email saying customs had put a hold on it because the scanner showed cash and gold and other valuables that he didn't declare so there is an $850 fine that he basically demanded that i pay, cause he didnt have his credit card on him on a business trip, then he yelled at me that i didnt get the package out after i told him repeatedly i dont have the money...i told him if he wanted the package he can pay for it and take care of it himself if there is a box its probably empty im not falling for it

Debt Collector
Got a postcard in the mail from "fastway couriers", Orlando Florida. Says this is the final notice since two attempts has already been made without success. Seems strange that they got the address wrong the first two times and then suddenly got it right?

Didn't know what it was about. Called the number. Punched in the shipper number, they said it was wrong so I disconnected the call and tried calling back. All of a sudden, it didn't connect. Called from another phone, left name and number and they called back the next day.

A lady said we had a $500 bill that was overdue from an old apartment complex (that we moved from, four years ago),she also wanted our bank information and told us they could only accept debit cards. Oh and she called back a few minutes later saying that she talked to management and knocked the bill down to $200. We said we'd call back.

So the b***s*** radar is beeping pretty hardcore. We google the number, find all this and then we call the apartment complex that the bill is supposed to be from. There IS a bill that went to a collection agency (and thus is available on the public credit report I assume?), but the lady at the apartment complex let's us know that we can simply pay them. And this is a place in the same TOWN. Not miles and miles away.

I guess someone is checking out people's credit reports and trying to scam them for money? Anyway. If you need to, ask where said bill is supposedly from and call that place!!!

Can't find this company online and yeah, it seems pretty f****n' shady.

Same thing happened to me... but I did call and was not able to call back. Does this mean they could have got personal info from me? And how do I go about reporting it?

We found a postcard in our mailbox this morning from Fastway Couriers, Express Parcel Delivery.
The address was handwritten in purple ink.  It did not appear to be postmarked.  The other side of the card was also filled in by handwriting and in purple ink.  The date had been written and written over to change the day of the date.

We are not expecting any packages but what caught my eye as well as what I've already mentioned was on the first line it states "two previous attempts to deliver your package card".  What is a package card?

I agree with those who have posted before me that this is a scam of some sort and in order to get that scam going, the recipient must call the customer service number listed and input the shipper # and package tracking #.

I have no plans to call the number.

Received a post card postmarked from Orlando, FL, from 'fastway couriers express postal delivery'. It had a phone number, package number, and tracking number to call. Said we had 10 days to reply or else the 'package card' would be sent back. Now, the scary thing: it was addressed to a family business I had terminated 3 years ago, under potential federal legal problems with an insurance company. Devious employeee, but I was responsible. Thing is, 4 lines in the address to me: the business name was mentioned on the post card, the building name it was located at, plus our home street address and city/state, which are 250 miles apart. So, how these con artists put that together, maybe it was just old information they are using (ie, cheap), or we'd thought the legal problems had come back to haunt. Didn't make sense: why use a courier service to get us info so quickly, yet get notified from Florida (1000 miles away), and then they gave us 10 days to reply?  30 minutes of internet searching yielded our answer: this is a scam, like are rampant in e-mails these days. Now its spilled over into snail mail. Is nothing sacred?

We called, they asked for the package number. Once we entered it it said the package number was incorrect and asked for name and telephone number then line disconnected. Tried to call the number back from the same phone and it didnt connect at all. Probably collecting people's names and numbers for advertisements and junk mail. I think it should be illegal to scam this way...well any scamming actually.
