Left a message for the person who had my cell phone number before me, that was over 6-7 years ago. Harley Davidson debt collection calling the friend of the person they are attempting to contact. Ridiculous. Called multiple times in a row before leaving a message. I blocked the number immediately.

They alternate calling my work and cell all day.  I don't answer #'s I don't know, but if you don't pick up, they just keep calling over and over... this is absolutely insane!!  They must enjoy being a**holes to people all day and night.  If you complain, they will do it more.  

They left a message indicating they had a wrong number and were looking for someone else. I was going to call them back to tell him they had the wrong person, but after reading these posts, I just blocked the number.

they have no regard for fair debt collection practices act.  violate it daily. numbers are on do not call list.
the call more than 10 times a day. once they make contact with you they aren't supposed to call anymore that day, but they continue to do so

they keep calling me for a friend of mine. It sounds like a repeat "taped" voice. same message over and over again.

I do not answer calls I do not know, to much Bs out there.

I have told them a number of times I do not have a account or a friend with a account. They said they will keep calling as long as my # is on the list ? WTF Take it off I said...they can because I do not have a account number? WTF...why would I have a number if I DO NOT HAVE A ACCOUNT!

Call all the time at all hours. Call my father and I don't even know how they got his number! Told my father even if I pay the bike off they are still going to come and get it!!!! Oh really....try!

Harley has called my neighbor next door and my father in law. When I confronted Harley about this they claim I put them down as a reference on my credit app. I told them they were liars! Who puts references on a credit app? Not me! My father in law is 80! I told the woman to never call them again that they had some nerve. This has to be illegal. Do they think calling my neighbor is going to make me pay any quicker?

They are continually calling and harassing me over an ex-boyfriend's motorcycle. The calls first started about a year ago, at my work. They said they got my information because my ex listed me as a reference on his credit application. I told them that was impossible because I did not know him when he got the bike and even if I did, I didn't work at my current job then so there was no way he could have been psychic and listed the number. The guy was extremely rude. I told them never to call me again and then he asked me if I would be willing to help my ex get caught up in his payments. I hung up. Yesterday they called my cell phone with the same bull story about him using me as a reference.

Called it back and got Harley Davidson financial.

THEY CALL ME AT 7:00am AND THEY COULD NOT CARE ABOUT THE FAIR DEBT COLLECTION PRACTICES LAW.

HDF called me today had my name, husbands name and number stating someone listed us as their landlord! WHAT! I had ask the caller what are the renting from me a shed?!?  I dont rent anything! Weird and makes me nervous how all my info was given to this company. I called the number back and the recording did say HDF.

Calls constantly. I have never nor do I want to ever own a Harley.

They just called me asking for information on a friend of mine. The woman, (Rachel) lied, and claimed that he put me on a contact list, in case they ever lost touch with him. I told her to remove my number from their calling list, and then I immediately called my friend. He says he never put me on a contact list of ANY kind, EVER.

Thankfully, I refused to give her any information at all, and told her to remove me from their calling list. People need to be aware of the alarming ID Theft and scam rates increasing. Harley Davidson or not, there's surely been some broken laws here, as I am also on the "No Call" list.

My friend has been in his home, and had the same contact information for more than 10 years, with no changes, and only bought the bike a couple of years ago, and his payments have always been up to date. I also found out from him who he's used as points of contact, and I am not one of those people.

HD Financial CONSTANTLY violates the Federal law relating to when/where they make their calls and they call even though you are current on your payment (in violation of federal law) because, "Your payment hasn't posted yet..." Well really? I mean it has been taken out of my bank for the last two days. I have an out-of-state cell phone number from the east coast. For the last year, they have called me at 5:00 am local time. (in violation of federal law) Their resolution? I should change MY phone number. The ONLY way to stop a company like this is to file a suit in small claims court. Each violation is worth $1000. Sue them for $5000 and get the payments on your bike instantly reduced. It is the only way. The only other thing to do is to block their number. I have verizon and for $5.00 a month you can block up to 20 numbers. Granted that 10 of them will be from HD Financial, but it is worth the money.
