Got a call from these people sounded legit but I did not owe who they said I did.  Kept calling for awhile then quit.  Made the mistake of calling them back and then they started it again.  Then some other company called for the same thing.  Told them to send it in writing and never heard from them again.

If you get a call from these people do not give them any information.  They are not the usual debt collection company.  They said I owed several thousand dollars on an account I paid over 10 years ago.  I don't know how they got any of my info but they did have some.  My attorney said they are fishing for you to either verify the info they have found or they are trying to get you to fill in the blanks for them.  They called my job twice until I told them they could not call my job again.  I told them I lived in Texas because Texas has laws against them calling your job or making threats and they have to show you proof in writing.  I told the lady to verify the debt in writing and I would call her back.  It has been six months and nothing from her and my attorney said under no circumstances call these people back. They say they are attorneys just to scare people. They are just well spoken crooks.  They called my home a couple of times after that but not my job because she knows she could be sued if she did after I told her not to.  So if you get a call from these people do not answer and do not call back or they will just end up selling your info to other companies.  If they know you are not going to answer or call them back and can not show other companies that you will call them back they cannot get anyone to buy your info!

Eaton Group Attorneys, Baton Rouge, Louisiana -- if you get a call from these people, it's time to start worrying because they're not the usual debt collection agency.  Their website explains in great detail how they target working people in Louisiana who have unsecured credit card debt.  They claim that they make a point of being the first ones to collect wage garnishment judgments before anyone else gets there.  It may finally be time to consult a bankruptcy attorney before these vultures swoop in and attach your paycheck -- yikes!!  The collection agent who called from this firm was named Sharon Blackwell and this was her direct number.

This number keeps calling me and its a number for a COLLECTION AGENCY asking for some one who does not live here. I told them to stop calling me but it does not help they are f****ng dum.
