I have also been receiving calls, every day, from this place. They leave quite aggressive messages saying there is a serious financial matter and I must contact them, plus documentation has been sent to my home (it hasn't)...I have had a call every day for the last week. I have never spoken in person, it has always been a message left. They ask for someone who has NEVER lived at this home. I believe my phone # is new too. I have researched this number and cam across this site. The name they leave for the company is a debt collection agency in NYC, from what I can make out. I think it is a SCAM. Don't give any info out!!!!!

Its a company called National Financial Solutions. Its hard to tell from the rudeness of the caller but they seem like a real collection agency. When I told "Mr. Johnson" he had the wrong guy (after he told me the wrong last 4 of SS#, wrong address, and type of credit card I've never had)he got pissed and hung up the phone. This is what I get for having a listed phone number I guess.

I have been getting calls everyday saying that I am in collections and I am not. They have all my information but I am not in collections. They are saying ridiculous things. I don't know what to do and how to fight with them. I talked with a Timothy and Jamie. National Financial is a fraud I think. They will not get off my back.

Diana, seriously, how many shades of a**-blistering-stupid CAN you be??? Really. I'd like to know.

How 'bout you go have someone smarter than you explain the FDCPA to you and get back to us? Might be worth your time if you give a rat's fart about appearing intelligent.

'Course, I doubt that's a concern for you, huh??

For the rest of you dealing with these morons: send them an intent to sue letter for harassment. You might even get some $$ out of'em. And we can only hope against all hope that it comes out of Duh-ana's paycheck! ;)

I just received a call from these a**holes (Mrs Anderson) asking for someone that does not live here and I have never even heard the name before.  The very rude lady told me to "find that person and notify them that they are going to take legal action within 24 hours". I laughed at her and she got verbally nasty with me.  I told her it was her job to find the person...not mine.  I then started asking her personal questions which really sent her into a frenzy.  She was fun to play with for a while.  I then reminded her that there are harrassment laws and if she called my number again that I would see her ugly face in a court of law.  Mrs Anderson hung up on me.. how rude!!

Someone called our office from this number and asked for a co-worker.  When I said she wasn't available she asked for personal information about this person.  When I refused to give it to her she started screaming that I must be that person hiding from her creditors and they were taking legal action and "it's going down on Friday".  She was screaming so loud, another person standing at my desk could hear her.  I tried to explain that I was not the person she was looking for _I'm just the receptionist- but she kept screaming and then hung up on me. SO unprofessional.  She left a number of 800-765-2733 to call back, but the caller id showed a local area code.  Said her name was Nancy Dale.

I contacted these people and informed them that the statute of limitations was up on my debt and to please not contact my work place any longer and that I needed there address to send the letters to stop the contact by phone John Lewis became very hostile and said that "I was not going to pay my debt that they would file against me and send someone to my work." he would not give me the address to send the letters of no contact and then hung up on me.  Nevada Law has a 4 year statute on open accounts(credit cards) and it was in the 5th year that they called.

I am getting daily calls from this number, sometimes 2 or more. They are asking for someone who no longer lives at this address. I have returned the call and told them to stop calling -- was told that my number would be taken out of their system, but nothing changed and the calls are still coming.

The above number IS for NCO..not National Financial. I just tried calling to reach National Financial to get a copy of a settlement letter from 3 years ago that supposedly was never sent to my old bank account. Now they've taken $150 from mine and my husbands savings to pay the difference that was already paid! This is ridiculous that a company can't do one simple thing. Now 3 years later I have to deal with this crap all over again from an account that shouldve been closed after it was paid off!

Over 3 months, I've received calls of harassment from this company, all throughout the times of the day.
They keep asking for ROSARIO! Who is that?! When I eventually got to speak with a Representative she was extremely rude and told me to calm down.
This company needs to be put to a stop, after years of illegal debt collecting and harassing practices.

Debt Collector
Weeks ago I received a call from a "collections agency" claiming I owed a cerain amount on a credit card. I knew that I had charged on a card so I gave them my information to start paying the bill. As soon as I hung up the phone with them, someone from their exact same number called telling me the same information. I told him I had already spoken to someone and made arrangements and he yelled at me saying that he was in charge of the office and no other person should have access to my information. He then hung up in my face saying that he would report me to a credit bureau. Yet this company is still taking money out of my account, even though he argued that I did not make arrangements on the account. They charge me under the name PayMyBill. I have hesitated to call their number because all of their associates are very rude...seems like a scam to me. They do disguise their number to seem local so that you'll answer. Their real number is 1-800-765-2733 and the number to pay my bill is 1-800-820-6829.

I got a call from National Financial Systems at a friend's house, and they asked for my father. That the call was in regards to an "urgent legal matter," and that NFS would be "dating these papers today." I wasn't sure why they were calling for my father at my friend's house, so I called back to give them my father's number.

I spoke with "Nancy," who after a short talk asked, "Is this M.?" She knew my name. I confirmed, and then she asked me why I had not made efforts to pay a debt. So, they weren't looking for my father, they were looking for me. I tried explaining to her why I was unable to pay the debt, and then she got belligerent, telling me I need to "learn to respect [my] mother," and that I need to "get [myself] to church."

I hung up on her, then called back and asked to speak to a supervisor. The supervisor, Gabrielle, reminded me of my debts, and then told me she represented a company who would help me settle my debt for nearly half the cost. I was suspicious, and as I spoke to her, my friend was looking up NFS's 800 number. He found many complaints about them, some suggesting they were a scam company. I expressed my concern about a scam to Gabrielle, and she started attacking me. She yelled, did not allow me to speak, threatened me saying, "you're going down," "we'll see you in court," and called me a "loser." I hung up on her.

I called back days later, after receiving several calls from NFS (which I did not answer), and asked again to speak with a supervisor. I explained to the supervisor, John, how I had been treated by Nancy and Gabrielle, and he told me they would be dealt with.

I am still receiving calls from Nancy, three months later, still threatening me with legal action. It's my understanding that they cannot take action against me.

I don't understand, considering all the action taken against National Financial Systems for their multiple violations of the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act, why this company is still allowed to offer their services. As far as I'm concerned, any lending company having dealings with NFS needs to dissociate itself from this seriously unprofessional and unethical group of people.

got a call and the lady left a voice mail looking for someone I dont know.  They mention a file number and say I need to call back.  Caller id is 000-012-3456.  Upon looking up that caller id number in Google it turns out it is likely a Skype number.  Tricky.  Last time these guys called it was an unknown number.

Hey guys! I received a voice message from this phone number with extension code 382. A woman said she was in the National Financial Office and this was a very important business message. She knew my full name and asked me to call back. I did call back and heard that I have to pay 429. They knew my full name, my birthday and the Bank where I have an account. After telling me these information, they asked me to pay $429. I kept asking why I should pay and they refused to answer me.

It is definitely a trap. They wanted to find someone who would pay.
Since they knew my detailed information when I set up the Bank account, I doubt that my Bank sold these information to them. People who saw my history please be aware that your personal informaion could be stolen and kept your password safe.

This company keeps calling our house looking for a Corey Myers.  I have called back Jada Wilcox from this company and have told her that I did not know Corey and that this is not his phone number. She was very rude and said they would update their system. Now Jada is still calling looking for Corey. I'm talking with my Lawyer about a lawsuit for getting harrass from this place.

I have received two calls from this company.  The first time I called them and they were looking for someone with a different first name then mine.  They apologized.  I received another call about a week later.  I called again, not realizing it was the same and again they asked for this person.  I told them they had the wrong number.  They started to get angry with me, asking it my number was a wrong number.  I told her she didn't need to get rude and she started screaming something at me, which then I told her to screw herself and hung up.

Same old story - harrassing phone calls (voicemails) asking for a person who does not live here, and never has. Never heard of this person either. I will be reporting this to the police and will take it further if I need to.
And as for the poster above - I have ZERO outstanding debt.

When I get continuous "wrong number" calls for the same person I report the calls and the numbers to the police. Then I tell them they are calling a wrong number, they are ordered to never call again and that I am reporting them to the police. They usually start yelling and cursing at me as I am hanging up the phone. Which means they are some sort of head case, bully that is deliberately harassing me. Remember, when someone you don't know calls you never have to be polite and being polite only encourages them. Don't engage in a dialog, don't tell/ask them to take you off their list, don't respond to anything they say, deliver your speech and hang up. Don't tell them no one by that name lives at your house, tell them they have dialed a wrong number, order them never to call again, tell them you are reporting them to the police and hang up without responding to a word they say, every time they call. Then follow up by filing a police complaint and use your work address in the complaint, not your home address, police reports are public record.
