If these calls are coming to your cell phone on behalf of Wells Fargo or Discovery, you needed to provide them with prior written express permission for calls after October 16, 2013.

But they are not supposed to be calling you on your cell phone unless you gave prior written express permission.  That's the law after October 16, 2013.

it's a scam!!! called me and left a message at voice mail asked me to call another #. When calling that # they asked for my discover account# which I don't have. after I tell then I don't have a discover account they just hang up without any explain.

Nice try shill but when in doubt, people should call the number on the back of their cards period. And they should never give out information over the phone to someone who cold calls.

Yes, I got a lot of calls, but forgot to pay my last months payment. It is for Discover card. I was able to pay it over the phone with them. I gave them no info, they already had it all , so it was no scam or anything. All I can say is if you missed a payment, they will be calling because of that reason. They will hand up on the machine.

I have been bombarded with calls from this number which reads on  caller ID as "Invalid Number". I refuse to answer any 800 number which is unidentified. Furthermore, Wells Fargo is another "800" number that is relentless in their pestering techniques. The Flagship Resort in Atlantic City, NJ called me incessantly about a gift package for which I was eligible; they even identified a "friend" of mind who recommended me...I never heard of her! I am on the do not call list, but somehow unwanted solicitors sneak through. All of these calls make one change their phone number, however, even if unpublished,  the phone number is somehow acquired by the callers. Bottom line to callers: identify yourself and be prepared to provide legitimate credentials, or I hang up. I refuse to cooperate with  telemarketers, those who use automated calling, or are scam artists. Stop calling because you will not get my attention.

Not a scam at all.  It is Discover Cardmember assistance.  They help out if your struggling with your payments.  They have helped me out a great deal.  Lower payments and interest rate.  I agree they call alot but for once they really are trying to help people who are struggling.  

Multiple calls, no message. Also calling my husbands work cell, no message.  No late bills. Telemarketer?

They are calling every day including today (Sunday morning).  I don't have any late bills and one site said it is Discover card, which I don't have.  They never leave a message.

Good old Discover I went on vacation and my auto pay for the card went off. When I got back I had 27 calls from them with no messages. I'm sure the company is going broke without my $87.00 payment. Called them up, expressed my thoughts on the company, cut up the card and sent it to them with a nice note what they could do with it!! I'll never have a card with them

The ID said that the call was from 800-761-1152, but the voicemail message said that it was Discover offering me $150.00 if I called them back at 800-347-0214.  Their message said that they were calling on a Sunday, but it was really Thursday.  Definitely some kind of scam - maybe looking to ask people for their Discover Card account numbers?

Called Discover Card.    They have no record of phone #800-767-1152 being a Discover Card Number.   Was called 14 times in 2 days which prompted me to call DC as I am on their do not call list.    This sounds like a scam.

I don't have Discover Card. They call my phone to hassle me. I will never ever apply with this card company and tell my friends. Boycott this company!!

They call me starting at 8am and call every 2 hours. They have been doing this every day for the last 3 weeks. I don't even have a Discover Card and never have.

This is from Discover Card. They call all during the day starting at 7:30 in the morning and call as late as 8:30 at night. They start calling at 8:00 on Saturday morning.

Call a zillion times.  They blocked my online access   I'd pay via web if I could access it

Calls 3 times a day and does not leave a message.
