I am going to guess you work for DRS. Because you seem to spend alot of time  reading peoples post and replying with almost the same crap every time. Get a real job and leave people alone.

I have filed an harrasment complaint with the Ohio Attorney General Office against this company.  They contacted my son about collecting a debt and then when speaking to me about a check that was mailed Mr. Summers was very rude and threatening to me, he told me that my husband and I should sell one of 4 cars and help my son out or take out a line of credit on my expensive home, he obtained information about us that was none of his business, the debt is not ours, the attorney general said that is harrasment and furthermore they advised to NEVER send a company money grams or western union transfers when someone is claiming to collect a debt.  They need to prove to you that you owe the money, request a copy of original agreement with your signiture and proof that the debt is yours. The attorney general's office said they sound like sammers!!!  DON"T SEND THEM ANY MONEY UNLESS THEY CAN PROVE TO YOU THAT YOU OWE THE DEBT!!!

I filed for Chapter 7 Bankruptcy.  They were notified of this & they still call me day after day!  I thank you for all your input!!

I received a vm @ work from Carrie Sanders saying that someone has filed a claim agaimst me and that there was still time to take care of it if I called her back. She left the 800 # and her ext. 5406.  I called it back and the recording said Respondit and they were closed.

Just spole to a Ms. Sharp. Very rude and refused to answer my questions regarding a debt that has been paid. I disbuted the information with the the credit bureau and the verdit was, "Subject has not satisfied the debt." When I called DRS BONDED COLLECTION, I was very unfortunate to have reached Ms. Sharp. She refused to submit the accurate information to the credit burea and provide me with a receipt. Fortunately, I have a copy of the payment on my bank statement and will submit to the credit bureaus and the state attorney general with a formal complaint.

Companies like this need to be put out of business for reporting inaccurate information and giving the consumer such a very negative experience.

To Ms. Sharp, the person without a first name and refused to provide her first name, it would behove you to take a class in customer relations, customer service, and it would be to DRS BONDED COLLECTION benefit to perform a personality test on the individuals they intend to employ becuase once you hire street scums, it will damage your public image. I hope for your sake that you do not need urgent medical attention and the nurse or doctor assigned to you respond the way you do to the clients.

I'm Sorry for your troubles and for most of the posts on here. I am pretty sure they are from employee's of drs Bonded. For your information they can not put a liean on your home without a court order. You may owe a debt but you owe a bigger debt to your kids and from what I read you are paying that debt as prommised. Your Karma just sank with that one.  You never know someone's situation until you walk in their shoes and you should pray you are never put in a situation where you are sick and broke and have children to feed.  Do not think it cannot happen to you- it happens in a second to people who are educated, have always paid their bills on time and are really good people.  Be careful preaching unless you have the experience or wisdom to know what you are talking about.

A guy named Lou called & told me that I owe an electric company in another state. I told him that he has the wrong person and wow, he started cussing and yelling at me. After listening to his ranting and raving I told him I would call him back and he gave me the number of 800-767-9185 with an extension of 5556. Well lest to say I have not called him back nor do I intend to since I have never had utilities in a different state of where I reside and second, caught him in numerous lies. First he said we owned a house and no we don't. Second, we have numerous cars, no we don't. Each time he would say something and I would correct him he would yell and threaten to turn me into the courts for collection. He is not even willing to show me what proof he has that he says I owe money on. What a idiot. Sure I will send a strange person who I have no idea who he is and where he is really calling from thousands of dollars. Go fly a kite and nope, not calling back. His phone call showed up as unknown on my caller id. Good luck people, even us that don't owe others get caught in the confusion of business.

simple as this ppl ...drs cant garnish..they can request it to the org co you owe .
and they will Do It ! drs is a co who will try to get you to pay them BEFORE futher action is requested to be taken on you ..they do all the verifaction of assest and property and emp .
they contact payroll and get your info all in line to have the big wig co go after your a***s.
and then you have this a** telling you how to piss them off .
well jerk i worked for them till i had my baby 2 years ago ..
and i worked the legal routs ..i heard the ppl crying because it was too late for our help.

i heard that ppl who dont pay their bills cause our intrest rates to go up . did you know that ?
did you know what the fall of the economy is due to millions of ppl not paying their debts and millions of jobs were lost because large companys had to down size sending millions of ppl looking for lower paying jobs and becoming debters as well?
did you know that complaints like these will cause a compay to go under and they will start appying for YOUR jobs......
the lesson here is we all know we owe the debt. we all know we need to pay it back . if YOU call these companies first and they dont have to track you down then you will have a better chance of them taking what YOU can afford ( - the dinning out and leasure spending) and you will not have to make complaints. you will join the other groups of ppl who "try to " educate the world about how important paying your bills are to the economy.....join us deanie

you just told a lie in your email ...i settled an account with them last year and i recieved a letter stating my debt would be settled in full and they would show it as a 0 bal owed on my credit ...

Let's not forget, they are debt collectors. They are not in business to help anyone but themselves. I would suggest everyone look at the Fair Debt Collections Practices Act. They will threaten to do things that they simply cannot do. Also, because they are collectors and not the original creditor, they must stop contacting you when you notify them in writing.

THANKS YOU for stating what it the truth. These Collectors only want money. My sister worked for one and she was nice about it, and form talking to her, she told me so many things that the others around her did. Also they can work with you a lot more than they let you think.

I have dealt with so many collection agnecy's. My husband and I have both fallen on hard times. And when I started receiving the calls. I answered them and explain my situtations, they never listened or tried to work with me. They we so rude to me on the phone that I finally I had to let my husband answer the calls and talk to them. And Quess what THEY WERE NICE TO HIM!!!! SO it really depneds  on whether or not your a girl. But I do agree that just pay your bills and just over spend.

Look, to you jerk knobs who keep saying to just pay your bills fkn bite me. I lost my job because some big wig wanted to own 3 more houses across the country. So by cutting me and several other people with families and bills he forced us into a place that does not allow us to pay these items. Or for some The companies they worked for cut them loose due to health reasons, etc... I am sure some folks have a shady past but everyone who has posted to this board is not a bad person. Most of the people they are chasing have been trying to keep from losing everything they "WORKED" for their whole lives.

To those who say they are nice people, helped me out etc... I am not buying it. These people do not want to help you. I have had friends work for these "agencies" and they get some small wage or tiny salary and then told they get a percentage of the collected debt. Thats why they push for these 30-60% payoffs. Because then they get a nice chunk of change. Also look into your states laws. Credit card companies cannot force you to sell one damn thing. they can only garnish your wages. You may need a lawyer to keep them from hitting you for a high percentage, But thats the worst they can do. Unless the companies hold your mortgage or car loans but then that falls under a different catagory. These shifty S.O.B.'s Usually only go for credit card and unsecured debt accounts because they are smaller and easier to push a quick recovery on. Usually under $10,000.

So my suggestion to those who are getting these calls make them send you everything in writing before you agree to squat. If they are calling your employers, get with your employers and depending on the company they can send cease and desist letters with the companies Attorneys nice little name and logo. Explaining how they will be in court for defying the compnay when asked not to be contacted.

Also last I knew wasn't it against the law for them to call your work number? Maybe that is Michigan only?

i had a message waiting for me when i got to work today having me call "donna" back at this #. I don't own anything for them to reposess so im worried they could garnish my wages... is there any way to fight this? theres a reason im not paying citifinance and its bc my fiance lost his job and now i have to pay all of the bills to keep us in a home and fed. so im really worried that they could garnish my wages and make living that much more difficult.

Yes, we've had the same issues with Bob Howard.  He is actually threatening, rude and demanding.  He will tell you - you have until 1pm to Western Union him the money. Ha!  Do not let him push you around, send him a certified letter, take the appropriate actions to cease him calling at work.  They are not supposed to call at work! Send what you can and move on.
