The caller hangs up as soon as the phone is picked up and when we don't answer, they don't leave a message either so why are they calling?  Are we supposed to read their minds?  They are not communicating what the purpose of their call is. Kinda stupid on their part. Hope they rot in Hades.

Reported on donotcall (like that does anything!).  THey keep calling.  

This so called company has been calling my house phone for over 5 months, asking for someone that doesn't live at my address.  I have asked them to remove me from their list and it never happened after they told me they would.  I have called them back on numerous occasions and they tell me that they have never spoken to me. (such a lie).  They called again this morning and I threatened them with a cease and desist order. I will see what happens.  

Multiple silent calls/no messages left from this number. Appears to be a debt collection company. Eventually called them back as the calls wouldn't stop. They were looking for someone who does not live at my address, so I requested they remove my number from their records. I shared no personal information and was not asked for any. They told me my number had been removed and apologized.

Enchanced Recovery System calls my phone everyday and always leaves a message stating they are a debt collector and for me to please call them.  They leave me a phone number and reference number to use when I call.  I really do owe the medical bill they are trying to collect and just don't have the money to pay it so how can I be mad at them for just doing their job?  

They are calling at least once a day every week.  We have told them that Vido Tresida is not at this number.  We have had this same phone number for 10 years.  We have told them this 3 times but they ignore us.  I am considering filing a compliant with the State Attorney General's Office.

They keep calling my work and its a recording for me to call this number and gives me a reference number...  this after I had gone thru many many calls from them at my work number and told them they are not to call my work again..  I owe them NOTHING.. it's a scam...  

I have a suggestion.  What-if we got all the phone companies to sell a honey-pot service?  They would charge us a dollar a month (they would not do this if they were not getting paid some way) for a honey-pot phone number.  Whenever we signup for some new product or service we hand out the honey-pot number and we go to our phone company and for a brief period direct the honey-pot number to call us and specify when to no longer call us in a few days.

The result is that no one gets our real telephone number that we hand out to friends.

Except for those brief few days a year when we purposely turn-off the transfer to our real number, all the scammers will get is dead silence at the honey-pot number and we hear - nothing!

very easy solution: buy a "t-lock  call blocker". it'll block 1200 number for you. you will never a ring. I have it and love it.

We most certainly do not owe anyone any money, so I have no idea why they'd call my number other than as a grifter or scammer trying to get personal information from us, or to confirm our phone number is live.

Male robot voice, not a human, left a message.  Left a  phone number to call (800 770-2649) and a reference number (89843859) to give when I called.  Like I said, I'd have to be crazy to return this call, and so would you.  Scammers rely on people getting angry that they've been mistaken for a debtor and blurting out personal information in their own defense.  Don't ever call anyone angry, it will make you unwary of the danger of over-sharing.

They have been calling my house multiple times a day for a person who owes money that I do not know. I have had this phone # for 2 12 year and have been receiving collection calls for at least 3 different people with this persons last name. No matter how many times I tell them I do not know any of these people, they KEEP calling. I am now keeping records of the times they call and who they ask for and will be turning it over to the attorney general and a lawyer if need be.

The calls have started since 2/13/14 and have since continued to come at least once a week. My experience is similar to the rest. They call and leave a voice messege. If I answer there is no one on the other side. I called them and they told me to enter the reference number they gave when they called. They are obviously scammers

Called this morning.  Didn't pick up and no message was left.

I was receiving FREQUENT calls from ERC for someone I never heard of...  A certified letter to the Bayberry Road address shown above stopped it for a long time...

Keeps calling my cell number and do not leave messages.

a recording calls telling you to call the very number that appears on the caller id.  why doesn't someone just sit on the other end and ask for who they want to speak to.  you called me.  obviously you want to speak with me.  why in the hell would I call you back at the same number from which you called?  besides I don't return random calls.  I don't care who you are or for what you are calling.  dummies.

We owe no one any money. We had a lodger who must owe everybody. Even though we tell collectors that he is no longer at our home they still call. Usually I just let the phone ring. I can hit a button to turn the ring tone off. Eventually I'll block the number but they all seem to have another number to call from. My landline is in the laundry room so they can call all they want. It is in the lower level of our home and does not disturb us. After awhile the debt collectors stop calling.

I have been plagued by these a*hole companies for going on 5 years now. This is just another one. Don't know what they want, they either leave no message or will not state who the call is for. I have changed my phone number three times through BrightHouse and just get a new set starting first thing the next morning. The last time I tried to tell one of these scumbags that I was not the person they were asking for, I then was besieged by 12 to 13 calls a day rather than 5 or 6. Obviously the only goal is to f*** with people because they can get away with it. I don't use a cell phone and need a land-line and there is no way to block an unknown or invalid caller, or so BrightHouse says. Gone are the days of Mom and apple pie. America now seems to stand for lies, head-games and s*** tricks.

Received a call from this number while was talking on other line.

This collection company called... we have had this number for over 2 1/2 years.  The person from whom they are trying to extract payment does not live here or have ownership of this phone number.  I asked that they remove our number from their database.  Let's see if they actually do.
