calls several times every day. leaves no mesage

FIA card services call trying to sell me identity theft protection.

calls and hangs up. Loser

same just called and they hung up. F'IN loser...

Calls consistantly at 9:30 am and between 5 pm and 7pm, daily.

calls 3 or 4 times daily. Very tiring. Does anybody have a solution to this problem?

Pick up the phone , lay the phone off the the reciever for about ten or fifteen minutes . They will be paying the for the call.

Our company has been getting multiple calls per day from this number for more than a month.  Everytime I answer the call they hang up.  Now we have caller ID and I called the number back and was given the chance to request our number to be removed but it can take up to 30 days.  We will see if they actually stop calling.  I complaned to the Better Business Bureau since without carrer ID it would have continued FOREVER.  It is stupid that I have to have caller ID in order to call them back to be removed!

I received an incoming call from 800/772-4686 at 2:16 P.M., August 31, 2010 (Tuesday).  The caller
rang twice and left no message on my telephone recorder.  I've been receiving such calls many times
during the pass week.  They are not only a nuisance, but fall into the category of a Criminal Statuted
known as harassment, if I can identify them and formally give them a written warning.  I can proceed with notifying Authorities leading to a Criminal Complaint.  I can further report the incident to the
Better Business Bureau and perhaps, with enough information on the Caller(s)?  I can proceed with
a U.S. District Court litigation.

Call everyday for awhile now finally called back and put in the number for them to not call, probably still will.
30 days to process the do not call. Bunch of toolbags that don't even provide a number to talk to a real person that I can give a piece of my mind to.

I get about 5 calls a day.  I have Vonage and can get a list on the internet of the calls.  I dont typically answer any more but I like some of the ideas of answering and acting like I am interested, waste their time and then tell them to drop dead after they think they have a sale.

I ignored the first 100 calls thinking they would stop. They would call 3,4,5 times a day. I finally answered and listened to the sales pitch. Then after waisting some of their time I just declined. I don't have a BofA card, so they lied. If they call again, this time I'll lie and say that The person your calling for has passed on, or Ill act like I have a speech impedement or something of that sort, making very uncomfortable for the solicitor. I'm gonna have some fun with it then Ill call back and remove my number.

correction if you have an account with them then the "do not call list" does not pertain to them. Sorry

Yep, FIA services. I called and requested to be removed after they called my house 5 times in one day. The recording says it will take up to 30 days. If they call me after that I will be complaining because I am registered on the Do Not Call Registry. If I recall, I have already asked them verbally to remove us from the call list. This is rediculous!

ok your on if you are still on the do not call list and if  you are still receiving these calls you have the law on your side. If you have told them that you are on do not call list you can file a complaint wth the FCC. The Company can be fined and last I knew that sometimes you could even get some money poss from the company.

Calls everyday @ 9am. never anyone on the line, never a message, it's bull...

Update:  Rather than contacting the mentioned number, contact your credit card company instead.  After a five minute phone call with FIA, I was able to get direct numbers to the two "affiliates" of FIA that handle these marketing "opportunities".  I was also able to ask that my account settings be limited to FIA only (card activation, transaction disputes, etc.) and to have no contact at all from affiliates.

I love it---the "tone" was a guy saying the word "Beep".

B*****ds wont ever give up. Unsubscribing at the BEEP doesnt help.  Pleading for help from Mr. Obama.

cid shows not provided with the same # 800-772-4686 no one ever there when i pick up , so now i just answer and hang up just so i dont have to listen to it ring. also have received calls claiming to be from fia not always the same # as above, telling these annoying people not interested or just flat out no means nothing they still continue to call.

Two more calls today. Told 'em both to get lost. Now that I recognize the number, I'm simply going to let the phone ring in the future.

Claimed to be FIA card rep, but I doubt it. Selling credit report BS. Got similar "FIA" call yesterday from a different number.

Woman with accent says, "I'm calling on behalf of FIA card services."

I say, "But you don't work for FIA card services, do you?"

"No, sir, but I . . ."

"You're a scam, and I don't want to talk to you."

The phrase "on behalf of" puts these scammers in a gray area.
