This number called me at 5:30 AM. I think that is way out of line.

received at 3 calls from this number and let it go to voice mail and they never leave a message!!! Tired of these people calling!!!

They called at 230 pm and didnt leave a message, anyone know who or what this number goes too? I dont answer numbers i dont know, so any info would be great..left no voice mail either cuz they called my cell phone

These people are a national collection service who will call you for any unpaid bills you may owe for an extended period of time. Each person in each state gets a representative of their respective places of residency (Mine was Washington state). If you got a call asking for a random name, it usually means some one gave a false number to a Bill Collection Agency and it turned out to be yours, luck you! In any case, I just got the same phone call and returned it as a courtesy. It turns out they were calling on behalf of St. Peter's hospital, a local hospital here where I had some blood work sent off to from a local clinic I had gone to for a case of walking pneumonia. I informed them that I had already paid the bill for it at the clinic the day I went in and if she needed the receipt number she could have it. She didn't even bother with it any further and informed me she would notify the collectors to stop calling me. So don't worry about the calls from this number, it's nothing fishy.. Just annoying when they call over and over again (which is actually illegal to call more than 3 times a day). Hope that clears up any worries anybody has about where this number comes from and what they want.

just got a call from this number. Returned the call and hit 0 twice. Looking for Whitney. Told them to take this number off the list.

These People are bill collectors for Parkland hospital. The women was very nice when i told her not to call anymore and I was not able to afford payments that i live check to check and had no medical insurance. I can't help they want to charge me 2500.00 to test my cholestrol at a clinic if i had known i would have never gone .

This is what is wrong with helath care they can charge what ever they want if you don't have insurance.

the government owes me over a billion dollars and i owe noone and they call me. maybe its a lawer working for thievs who robbed the banks tryiong to get people t o say "you don't have to contact me any more" i guess we just say "please send a check to the lawer or judge who is arbitraiting the lawsuit and never call "this" number again. thankyou"

they tell me  to call 800-775-0884 never saying who they represent or why

The number belongs to ACS(Affiliated Computer Services), a collection agency out of Texas. If you press "0" a couple of times, you will get to a human. They ask you for the phone number you received the call from and then they ask you if you know "John Smith." If you say no, they hang up on you. So, I called back and when she asked me if I knew "Bob Jones" (a different name this time), I started asking her questions. She was not happy about answering, but she did--very short and to the point, not giving up anything other than a direct answer to my questions (who are you, what does ACS stand for, where are you located, why are you calling me constantly, etc). She eventually hung up.

To be on the safe side, I ran a credit check on me and my husband and there is nothing in any collection agency.

I get calls from these people all the time, enough that now they have their own ringtone assigned to them, and I always know not to pick up the phone when I hear that song...the song??? "If I Only Had a Brain"..I get a chuckle out of it, and so when they do call, I am laughing so I am not as annoyed all day..I think these guys are like cockroaches..even a nuclear bomb won't stop them...

Many repeated calls for months, the calls are on my companies cell phone.  They say it is a business matter, and may be.  I have filed for Bankruptcy and to be calling me is a violation of Federal law.

this is not a sells call don't hang up, call this number or go online and enter your reference number, their is no place to enter a reference number.

they call 3 times a day.  i called the number back and pressed 0 to talk to a real person, i told her in no uncertain terms to quit calling me.  they still call, it's driving me crazy.  i told her i had no debts but they still call.  how do you get rid of them???

This number called and did not leave a msg.  I called the number back and the voice mail msg stated it was ACS collection.  I found this information on their site online -     Absolute Collection Service, Inc. Received a phone call at 4:00 A.M., yes A.M.  Answered and other end of the line stated this isn't a sells call, please do not hang up, please call some number.  I was still half a sleep and just hung up!  I wish I had written down the number they wanted me to call.  I don't appreciate a call at 4:00A.M. unless it is family or friends.
