The company that calls from this phone number is called Preferred Platinum Plan.  They are extortionists. The best way to deal with them is to contact the Federal Trade Commission and the Attorney General in your respective state.  Tell them everything that Preferred Platinum Plan did to you.  Tell them how this company called several times a day in defiance of Federal laws regulating collections.  Tell them how they demanded payment for a debt you did not owe.  The Attorney General in your state will then alert the FBI and arrest the owners of Preferred Platinum Plan.

some lady called asked for randy I told her, "I don't know a Randy" which is true she said it was an adult chat line. I told her wrong number, "She said sorry and hung up

I notice a text on one of my cell phones so i called and
They asked my name and then they told me that my husband or boyfriend called their
Adult chat line and when I told them i was not married and my boyfriend has his own phone she was very rude and then gave me two dates and the last 4 digits of two credit card numbers that are not any current credit card numbers that I have. She never told me the total. I hung up on her.

Scam artist

This company keeps calling/texting my cell numbers and telling me I owe money for some chat line.  We have never called/texted these people.  These are harrassing calls who have been reported.  The people who have called are named Michelle and Albert from Preferred Platinum and all the numbers they have left are:  800 489-8840 - 443 225-5877 - 800 230 7772 - 800 775-1135  THIS IS A SCAM!!!!!  I will never pay ...  AND as far, as your compliance department is concerned, do not respond as your answer is generic from RICA.

I called the number you provided and left a message. i received a call at my old number saying i owed money we moved and i am now receiveing gross mag advertizeing your services. they are addressed to my husband. i want proof that we made the call because i know he would not have provided a address. we do not want anything mailed to us we have small girls in the house 5 and all are 6 and under. i do not want my children exposed to that kind of stuff.

Summer of 2011, I recieved hundreds of phone calls from a man who claimed to be a customer service rep for "Preferred Platinum".. I was being harrassed constantly, cursed at, and threatened.. The man tried to say that I owe them $700 for talking on an adult chat line, and replayed the voice of the call and was not my voice at all. Any time I would deny the call or immediately hang up, I would recieve multiple calls consecutively, then they would give up, then they would try again a couple hours later. Eventually I was threatened with prosicution of fraud thru a credit card that I didn't even own. Eventually after one year, they stopped calling and sending letters in the mail to someone named "Jeffery"

These people are scammers and trying to steal money. DO NOT GIVE THEM ANYTHING! I hope whoever is behind this scam is caught immediately and prosicuted to the fullest extent of the law for trying to steal hard earned money from working men and women.

If you get a call from anyone like this, do not stress out.. Understandable to stress out at first but just do your best to keep ignoring them.

This company has contacted my 80 yr. old mother 3 times and she made the mistake of paying them the first time because they told her they were going to have my brother put in jail. My brother has been in prison before and my mother knew that if he went back to jail he would go straight to prison and that he would not ever get back out. They have called her twice since that time demanding to know where my brother is and how to contact him because he owes them several thousand dollars but they will write it off for $500.00. Fortunately she has called me about the last two calls before doing anything and I have told her these are just scam artists taking advantage of frightened elderly women and to not give them any information or send them any money.

These scammers keep calling me. Say they are from Preferred Platinum.

Just google search the name to view a whole list of complaints about them.

I have no clue how this place got my number, but they have been relentless in harrassing me. I told them i had no clue who they were talking about. I blocked their number on my phone. Hopefully they won't call again cause when I hung up on them they called back right away and said that they had a voice on recording that they wanted me to listen to. I need a beer after this nonsense.

I RECEIVED A CALL FROM PREFFERED PLATINUM.... THEY WERE GOING TO SERVE ME WITH A LEGAL DOCUMENT AT WORK FOR SUPPOSEDLY NOT PAYING A VISA CREDIT CARD THEY SAY I OPENED.   THEY SAID I OWED $3998.00 CALLED ME AT WORK DURING THE RUSH HOUR .... THEY TOLD ME IF  I PAID THEM $600 THEY WOULD EMAIL ME A ZERO BALANCE OWED..RECEIPT... I ...UNFORTUNATELY PAID THEM WITH MY CREDIT CARD.... SO THAT MY CREDIT RATING WOULDNT GET DAMAGED... HOW STUPID... NOW THE CREDIT CARD COMPANY IS INVESTIGATING.... AND HOPEFULLY WILL DROP THE CAHRGE..... WHAT CAN I DO ABOUT THIS.... I WANT TO REPORT THEM TO SOMEONE SO THIS CAN STOP.  WHO THE HELL DO THEY THINK THEY ARE...

Sex Line Scam.
May be connected to a company called Spectrum Billing.
They try to intimidate you into paying for calls to an adult chat line.
They transferred me to an "Investigator". She sounds official and has me listen to a recording of the call, which sounds like any guy talking low.
Then she indicates that they will have to do a voice analysis with my relatives and let them hear the call to see if they recognize the voice.
They probably hope that someone might get too embarrassed to have their name associated with a sex line and they will just pay them to go away.
They're rude and hang up on you to move on to the next number on their list. (eventually they get a sucker)

Next time I will let them know that they have been reported.

Ive taken matters into my own hands and gave them a dose of their own medicine to the point where they put my number on a block so if i called them back their so called attourneys would get involved so i figured if they called me back i can use that against them for harrassing me...NOTE I DIDNT GIVE THEM ANY INFO JUST TOLD THEM I WAS WITH A CREDIT CARD COMPANY OR SOMETHIN DOIN MY OWN INVESTIGATION after i told him that he got all offensive and wanted to get all rude and hang up on me so we shall see if they call me back

I have been having the exact same problem for a while now. I keep getting calling from this 18007751135 number saying that I owe money to Platinum Premium.I have told the lady I have no idea what she is talking about and that not paying for something I never did. She than proceed to call me a liar and than threaten me that law enforcement will arrest me or some stupid crap. This is getting very frustrating, is there anyway I can get them to stop calling?

MY PHONE LINE WITH BELL .EVERY MONTH BELL CANADA WAS CHARGING. NOW I AM MOVING FROM BELL TO AN OTHER PROVIDER.

My 17yr old son has received two calls from this number now, to his cellphone. We had one incident months ago where he did call a phone sex line, using his paypal debit card -- but that was cleared up, the charges were declined for lack-of-funds, and it was an entirely different number that we dealt with. The call received today left a voice mail saying to call the number back and use extension 7076, that the woman who was calling was "in the credit card fraud department". If she left a name neither of us could make it out on the voice mail, as it was a very poor connection -- lots of crackles and static.

No one ever addresses him by name in the calls, which makes me very suspicious, because if it was a true, legit business they would have his name.

Wow you should get a job! Stop harassing good people! This is in NO way legitimate! And I will make it my personal quest to report each and every fraudulent number to the FBI! This company is sick trying to tell people how to behave and act! I think it is you that needs a lesson in manners!

This happened to my inlaws with this specific company. It also happened to my husband and I but from a different company. If they call back tell them that you've reported them to the FBI and to stop calling you or you will pursue further action. If they take money out of your account then report them to the proper authorities. I told the man that caflled my husband that I reported him and he said "Oh thank you good bye ma'am". These people are lower than scum and something needs to happen to them!

My son started getting the phone calls from this Number they threatened him with jail if he didnt pay them $1000. To me that just didnt sound right so we made a few phone calls to the fraud company and to the FBI.
