I got a call 3/3/2011 at 9:55 est from a Spanish speaker who then hung up.

This caller wanted my insurance info - asked if I had low back/knee pain.  He wanted to send me a custom fit back brace and asked for my insurance info.  I told him I didn't want a back brace and hung up on him.  These guys are scammers after any personal info they can get.

Rang a few times and hung up, no idea who it is.

Call once and they hung up.
Called immediately after hanging up, I answered could her numerous people talking in background and they hung up on me without speaking

Just received a call from this number, I said hello and they hung up.  I called back and the man I spoke to said that they were calling me to ask me about my arthritis..wtf? I don't have arthritis.  So then, I try to get any info about who I am speaking with, and all he wants to do is argue with me and when I ask what the company is, he hangs up on me.  Sooooo, I call back, and get the same guy, of course, and then he decides to tell me that he is Frank with United Health.  The man had a very thick accent and was difficult to understand.  Also, if I was calling somewhere that is a calling center, how on Earth did I end up speaking to the same man twice in a row?  I believe this is a scam and I will be reporting.  I have been on the DNC and updating it for quite some time to make sure I'm still on there.  This man is getting reporting as we speak!

Got a call this morning from them, I answered and the lady said "Buenos dias". I politely said I did not speak Spanish, and to take my number off their call list, the lady kept speaking in Spanish so I told her less politely to not call me again, and hung up. This is my cell phone and it's on the DNC list, if they call again, I will report them.

Just received a call from this number at my office.  Foreign speaking man ...I hung up.

Have had missed calls from this number before, but this AM I just got one that  I answered -- on my cell as usual -- and sounded like a foreign speaking man.  He did not directly talk to me; sounded as if he was talking to someone close to him and said something like "oh, don't know, and ???"  then he hung up, and I immediately went on-line to look up the number.  I have had do not calls on my cell and home phone numerous times, but does not seem to help.

i am getting calls from this number and they ask if i have neck or back pain. I am on do not call list and that does not stop them.

A man identifying himself as Danny Spencer with United Health Service contacted my mother and also offered her a free knee brace. He asked her doctors name & by giving him the doctors last name, he was able to make her believe he had additional info (giving her the doctors first name & address.) Then said he only needed her ss#, which she unfortunately gave to him! (WE HAVE TOLD HER NUMEROUS TIMES NOT TO GIVE OUT ANY PERSONAL INFO, YET BECAUSE HE WAS A 'NICE YOUNG MAN" SHE GAVE HIM HER INFO!)  He said someone will call her back tomorrow to verify info.  He gave her the 800# to call if any questions.  Of course when called, a recording was received - it did not identify company name & after staying on hold for 10 minutes, the call was disconnected.  We have contacted the Federal Trade Commission-ID THEFT, Credit Bureaus, Police, SS Admin & Health Ins Provider to report possible identity theft.

Just got a call from this number. I didn't answer - no voice message left. When I returned the call, no company name was disclosed and all I got was a recording stating my call is very important to 'them,' and to please remain on the line while my call is being transferred.

Non-English speaking caller. Called number back and got an English speaker who asked," how did you get this number?" I asked to not to be called again as I'm on the DNC registry. His response was "Yeah yeah we've got 24 hours."

my husband received a call from this number about a week ago at our home - it was a man claiming he was with UPS and that he had a delivery but needed to talk to my husband.  i asked where the package was from he said california.  he said his name was george lee (same as one of the posts above).  I just received a call from this number on my cell phone - when i picked up they hung up.  I will report this...glad someone else knows about this.

These are crooks that are trying to sell you fake "medication" like Vicoden, Percocet, Valium, etc.  I block their phone number, but it's not long before they're calling from a new phone number.

I received a call a few minutes ago from 800-776-1680. They said it was United Healthcare and asked for my husband, then said the reason they were calling was to find out if anyone in the household had back or knee pain. I told them we had no such problems and hung up.

I received a call from this number on my cellphone.  Didn't answer.  I'm registered with the "Do Not Call Registry" which, in my opinion, isn't worth it.  Just too many annoyance calls.

Do not give them your medicare number. It is you SS # with a letter on the end.  The last piece of info they need to steal your ID.

Name Unknown just called my cell phone. I couldn't get to it in time and they left no message. If it was legit the caller ID would have a legit name, not "name unknown." It's a scam, don't give them any information, (or just scream LOUDLY like you're in pain) then report them to the FTC. You must report them, you could be saving the next victim of this fraud. Someone by the name George Lee just called my mother from this number.   Offering to send a free knee brace and also requesting her medicare #.  The number showed up as private # on caller ID.

Got the call on my cell, to date it's the 5th call in 5 days. This last time was a Spanish speaking woman asking for my husband. I told her she would have to speak English to talk to him. She apologized and hung up. Every call before that, the rep. would hang up once they heard a "NO". So I called this number, 4 times and got hung-up on 3 of them. Finally I got a guy who did identify the "United Health Service" name and said they were a polling site for information regarding health. But, mid-his-sentence, the call was disconnected again. It looks like all the phones called above are cell phones. I too am on the no call list for both home and cell. I hate these foreign speaking representatives that you can't get your point across, which is DON'T CALL...which if the consumer gets the request in, that phone caller must abide to your request. What the heck is this new scam!

I received a call from this number on my cell -- I am on the do not call registry - no message.  Have had previous calls from that number.

Oh no they are not trying to help anyone BUT themselves to goverment medicare funding.....wanna bet were the braces, if they even have any, are made?

This is a medicare/insurance scam - they call asking if you have back, leg or neck pain then offer to send you a "free" brace - you have to give them your medicare or insurance info. They called themselves UMS when they called my grandmother and something else when they called my mother. They tell you someone will call you back to verify your information.  They don't give you any number to call back on and it was only thru caller ID that I got their number. I have called and notified both insurance companies that any claim filed is FRAUD and not to pay it and we are not paying any bills they send us either.  Taking advantage of the elderly should be criminal - I also contacted the Indiana AG's office and filed a complaint.

You are full of crap.  I'm not on any kind of assistance or government health plan and I am getting these calls.
