At one point it was a good company to work for, and I was proud of our product.I would call the chamber get them set as a distribution point give them all of my contact information and make all the people that buy ads aware of where I was located they had all my contact information and also made them aware that it was not a contract they will do four prints in a year but that they didn't have to continue with it. I made sure to make them the only company in their field of work on the guide, and even went as far to call the chamber and tell them every time I placed a business.  To me that is the way it should be done. Not all the employees are bad but most of them do lie and miss Rep it is not right the way most if them treat businesses I wish I could of helped move the company in a correct direction and shown them the ways to earn and keep trust of a community it would be a great product once again if it would just be run right I feel bad for the business that have been done wrong I had to leave after a woman broken down and told me how she was charged six times in the amount of

Received a call today from 'Unknown Number.' Marty Smith identified himself and gave me the spiel about wanting our business to be on a magnet/advertisement for between $200 and $500 depending on the size of the ad. When I advised I was not the one to make those decisions and asked him to e-mail me details to forward on, he said "We don't really send e-mails because it tends to lead to more questions than answers." Red flag went up. I asked for his call back number, he gave me 800-778-6296 x1213 and asked if "Gary" would be calling him. I explained there was no "Gary" in our office. Total scam. He didn't even know what kind of business services we offer.

Plenty of people have reported them. But the complaints get filed with the BBB in TX where the parent scammers do business from (UNIVERSAL ADCOM):

http://www.bbb.org/fort-worth/business-review ... n-tx-235959203/

This scam has so many aliases and branches targeting our small businesses, it isn't even funny.

Don't let it slide. They must be reported to BBB, FTC and attorney general.

My husband has received several private calls in the last several weeks.  No he don?t answer them.  Today he received another call, he gave his phone to me and I answered.   It was Dale Waller he told me he was the project consultant for Mayes County Community Guide.  He also told me he was with Premier Impressions.  He said he got my husbands information from the County Clerks Office.  He told me they have room on the 6? x 8? magnet for 8 to 12 business?.  He told me there was another contractor, but he really like my husband?s information and he would really like to put his name on the magnet.  He went on to tell me some of the names that were on the list.  He said these magnets are distributed thru out the county. He went on to talk about emergency #?s on the magnets etc. Cost was $299.50.  I implied to him that my husband had left his cell in my pickup and once I talked to him I would mention to him (I kinda lied).   I ask for his phone # so I could call him back.  He gave phone # and ext. 800-778-6296 - 1244.  My husband and I talked about this, because we do have a magnet like he described.  My husband thought it was a good deal.   When I got home from work, I searched out the #, just to see.  WOW!!!  My husband knows that I search everything out.  After I read comments here and other places and how long they have been, no way.  I told my husband we were NOT doing this.  He ask me if there was any information on the magnet we have, told him no.  I think he is kinda glad I search things out.  My husband thinks Dale may of got information from yellow pages, because my husband does have an ad.  Dale read what was on the ad word for word.  I will post this to as many places as I can.

We received a call from Ron.  He just asked to speak to the business owner.  The owner was not available so I got a number to call back which was 800-778-6296.  Not knowing this company which said the were community guide I looked up the number and found this.  So thank you everyone for letting me know this before wasting my bosses time.  We are also in the Detroit area.

They've gotten into the Chicago market now. These people are SCAMMERS! They're claiming that we bound our company to a contract with them..by simply giving a BIRTHDAY! When I asked them to send over any form of Terms & Conditions or something that provides proof of legality to this contract, they said they have nothing like that. Send us to collections, keep your magnets you maggots.

Premier Impressions called my wife's business trying to sell magnets. She plainly told them that she could not afford it. They sent them with the not even her logo and then billed her and threatened to call collections if she didn't pay. Can't even find a customer service link to email to complain. Seems like they take advantage of people.

I'm glad I hesitated before I gave them my credit card number. They keep calling me about paying them for the magnets and I said I was very dissatisfied. That i would return them and they said no. this is the return # they gave 800-778-6308

I am an ex employee of Premier Impression (the St. Charles, MO) location and you're right, everybody... It's a total scam!  There is sooooo much crazy stuff going on in that office, and to the company's credit, they are making tons of money at the expense for business owners.  We were taught to "imply" that we were involved with the County, but we were not.  Trust me... I'm not some ex employee who's upset for one reason or the other; I just hate to see people get screwed! DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THEM!!!!

Left me a voice mail:  Doug Lane wanted me to call him at 800-778-6296 X-1223 - I did not return the call!  Found this page after a quick Google search.  I NEVER answer calls that come in w/o number I.D. Figure he got my number from a "blind" classified ad in the local newspaper.  I'm in central Washington State.

These people are a complete scam. They are part of a company called Universal Adcom. AKA Premier Impressions, Hometown Productions, and about 1000 other names. Based out of Fort Worth, TX. These people will screw you in a heartbeat. They contacted me one time claiming to be with my local chamber of commerce selling ad space on relocation maps. I said, "Send me some info and I'll get back to you on it." I contacted my local chamber of commerce and they said that they had never heard of that company. Premier Impressions sent me a box of "Complimentary" relocation maps with my company's logo on it and a bill for almost 300 dollars. After almost a year of monthly calls saying that if I'd pay with my credit card over the phone they would knock a portion off, they finally turned it over to a collection agency. Three phone calls to the agency and a letter explaining exactly what had happened and the agency agreed that they were trying to scam people.

Several months later, they tried to sell me some more stuff and denied ever trying to scam me before. They still call on occasion and I just laugh at them.

I have a new heating and cooling business this would have been great to get my name out there, it is a scam.  I NEVER fall for this crap, but this time they caught me in the middle of a nap.  I had to cancel my credit card.  After doing research on it. No charges on my card but it was close.  Always beware and NEVER give your CC # out especilly if they called you.  If your instincts say NO then you say NO!!

I did report them to the FTC.

"Justin" represented himself as the Coordinator for the Cache County Community Guide (no such thing) and told me a fellow business associate had recommended me for the advertising oppotunity.

he wanted to seel me space on the local magnets that have emergency contact phone numbers located in the center and surrounded by ads for local businesses, which I have seen. He had my ad from the local newspaper and used this as his copy.

I contacted the business associate he had mentioned and found out that she had been contacted by them a few days earlier and had declined the offer - so there was no referral.

These guys are pure rip-off scammers - avoid anything to do with them!

Hope the FTC throws their a***s in jail.

Got scammed by Premier Impressions on 2/25/11.  Same story: 6 x8 refrigerator magnet listing emergency and non-emergency numbers.  Offered me a business size ad for $285 for my home county, Portage County, Ohio.  "Premier Impressions" said the magnet would be delivered to every household in my county by the Streetsboro, Ohio Fire Dept.  When I asked how would they be delivered, they said they would give them out, then mentioned "you know how FD's sometimes collect donations in boots at street intersections."  (Not a very reliable method to get a magnet to every household in the county).  "Premier Impressions" faxed me a "Sample" magnet from Saint Charles County, Missouri.  They gave me the names of other businesses in my county who they said were advertising on the Portage County, Ohio magnet.  They wanted payment before they sent me a proof--of course I did not receive a proof.  "Jennifer Morris" was the name used as the telemarketer.  She had me talk with her quality assurance supervisor who said he would give me a 5% discount if I paid in full immediately.
