I'm curious, has anyone ever actually been sued by this law office. I'm wondering if they are just bluffing and want you to think they will. The hospital who the bill is with screwed up royally and also when I've talked with t\he staff at the law offices they are arfrogant jerks. I'd like to stick it to both of them and call their bluff.

This business shouldn't be calling me at all, as I have declaired bankruptcy and they are prohibited by law, from harrassing me after filing.  As a supposed law firm, I would expect them to be aware of that.........

Hey -- ever hear of being "UNINSURABLE"  I stopped being able to pay my private insurance premium in 2007 when it was over ONE THOUSAND DOLLARS/MONTH, for just me - PLUS COPAYS AND DEDUCTABLES.  I went for 5 years without insurance (until I turned 65) because I have 2 conditions that keep me from being able to find anyone who will insure me now AT ANY PRICE.  Either one could MAKE ME DROP DEAD IN A MATTER OF MINUTES.   MY PRESCRIPTION BILL IS OVBER $2,200/MONTH.  MY INCOME ON SOCIAL SECURITY IS UNDER $900.

Really? If the hospital would charge such an outrages price in the first place people like us wouldn't be placed in this situation. It's not because we don't want to pay a bill it's just there is no money to pay the bill. My husband is the only one working, we have a 4 year old who is autistic and he had to have emergency heart surgery because of an infection. The hospital got paid a substantial amount from the insurance company (more the half of what they charged) but still is looking for our deductible?  So a few hundred dollars is that important to such a large hospital that I would have to not pay another bill (such as electric) to give it to this greedy hospital and they send a rude collection agency after me?

You don't work with people and your people are just plain RUDE!!!  I will fight this anyway I can and if I can't  I will file bankruptcy and you won't collect a penny!!!!  How do you sleep at night???

We are a debt collection law firm.  It is not a scam.  This number listed is our number.  We have laws that govern who we can speak with.  If there is a complaint against one of my employees, I want to know about it.  We have a pledge that we will treat people with respect.  We are not perfect but we follow the Fair Debt CollectionPractices Act and we police what our employees do.  Much of what i have read on this site is simply wrong, whether intentionally or the people were misinformed.  We never call anyone after 8:30 p.m. and never before 8:00 a.m.  If one of my assistants will not talk to you it is because legally they can't without the party whom they are seeking's permission.  You can follow whoever's advise you want to, but consider the source.  If you do not owe a debt and someone contacts you,  I would advise you to clear it up.  Many times insurance may pay after we get involved.  I am not going to address every comment on this site or change some people's opinions but I hope those who read this will have some clarification.    Oh, and none of the other comments were from our office; I just found this website last night.  Actually it is a good thing to pay your debts.  That is what we try to do; work with people to pay their just debts and clear up those that aren't.

Thank you to all who has posted on this Kevin B Wilson. Is this a scam or for real? I have only had one call from them so far and it was for my son who no longer  lives at home. The caller was Kim and she acted so nice, she would not tell me  what is was about. Any advise from anyone.

F*** you. Not everyone has the money to pay their bills.

Got a call from Kim Henry today asking for my fiance'.  Kim was acting like some old girlfriend trying to get in touch with her.  Unknown to Kim, I also did collections for many years and knew right away this call was bogus.  My fiance' has no debts.

Very well said. I also work for a physicians medical office- managing patient accounts, and this is no shape or form to treat people regardless of the fact that they owe medical bills. Professionalism is highly suggested, and maybe this way they can have people cooperate better and make proper payment arrangements on their outstanding balances.

I believe this to be a scam for sure, i have reported it to TN bar ethics committee.

I work in a hospital and deal with alot of billing matters. I have been told by many people how rude and unprofessional Kevin Wilsons office handles matters. One lady (elderly) came in and said that a lady from this office had made threats to sue her and take away everything she owned and stop payment on her monthly government check if she failed to pay them. (This is not what your doctors expect them to be doing).

My honest advice to anyone having these issues is to call your hospital billing office and report the actions to them, tell them that you refuse to pay a attorney who cannot act more professional, chances are they will set up another option for you.

If enough people continue to stand up and report this collector, more and more hospitals / doctors will stop paying them to help collect bills. They are working on behalf of your medical provider to recover unpaid medical expenses, they are not paid to harrass you.

I have recieved calls from this number for a month now..A majority have been hang ups..Finally a lady spoke, she said her name was Kim, she asked for my husband and refused to tell me why she was calling or who she was calling for..I had to reverse number check the phone number to find out who it was. Not very professional for a legit attorney if you ask me. After some investigation I discovered that they are in fact debt collectors..Debt collectors who will harrass you from 8am-10pm, hang up on you and flat out refuse to tell you who they are or what they want.

Either you must work at Kevin Wilson?s office or you do not pay your bills on time because you know way too much on the billing procedure for this number!!!  Life is not perfect and neither are we.  A vast majority of us live pay check to pay check making ends meet, and if that means buying food for our families or making a bill payment ? sorry it is going toward food for our families.

I have been receiving calls from this number several times a day.When I answered, no one spoke so I quit answering.Two days ago a woman finally left me a message to call Att. Kevin Wilson's office. I'm glad I found this website to know what it was about. It ruined my weekend worrying about a call from an attorney.
