Just tell them that your duck is nice and clean but that you have a couple of chickens and a budgie that's looking a bit scruffy. 4 calls in the last 10 days! Apparently North American phone numbers are being hacked from China or somewhere so no idea what CRTC can do about it.

This Duct cleaning service has been HARASSING us for weeks on end now, and every time I request the "do not call list" they conveniently hang up on us! I try to call them back from this 800-780-1241 and I get "can not be completed as dialled " going to try a search thru my phone provider next! If anyone has success, let me know and I will do the same.

This company dosn't give up. They've called our home 5 times over the last 2 weeks even after I told them not to call this number ever again. I asked them to remove it from their call lists but to no avail they keep calling.

They just called me. Duct Cleaning Services. I asked them how they got my phone number. They use Canada411.ca, in other words, they use the phonebook. This is illegal. It says so in the first 20 pages of the phonebook where it describes what you can legally use the phonebook for. The caller (named "Joseph") hung up when I told him this. It also says this in the terms and conditions link on Canada411.ca. I'm on the National Do Not Call list and I will be reporting this company. I encourage everyone else who gets a call from these people to do the same. The CRTC may be slow, but they do fine companies for breaking the law. The fine for a first offense is about $30 000 plus legal fees and interest
