This number is continually on our caller I.D., but we have learned not to answer "unavailable" calls.  Very irritating to get this many calls.

they are the indiana state police.  told them i'm on the no call list.  extremely rude and cocky...when i asked to talk to a supervisor, he said, sure and hung up on me.  i called back immediately and a nice person answered and said he'd remove my number.  they called 6 months ago looking for money and i told them then, to take me off their list.

this is probably not the state police calling.  They hire organizations to do the calling for them.  The split is usually around 80/20.  The police getting the 20%.  I will not donate....ever.  If the police want to raise money let them have a car wash or sell cookies like other groups do.  The state should add them to the "do not call" list.  But I guess they have too much political clout.

I also ave asked to be removed only to get another call 3 months later.  Most of the time I answer and get no response, only to get another call the next day.

It's very ironic that you say "rather than spend your time writing a negative note" and then you post here. If you are truly the "director of operations", then you would take these comments seriously and make adjustments to your training and quality control of your organization. I will admit your comments on this board certainly mirror the rudeness of the people who call so maybe you are who you say you are??  Anyway, most people recognize you are nothing but a troll in this chain. For the record I did try and have my number removed... MANY times.

I constantly get calls from this number.  When I am home to answer these calls, know one ever says anything. I repeatedly say "Hello, Hello", and get no response from the other end.  When my answering machine picks up these calls, someone always hangs up on my machine without leaving a message.  This is strange to me. If this is in fact, the Indiana State Troopers pushing to get a donation.  This is definitely not the way to go about it.

State Troopers Association

In addition to this number, I've got calls from 877-286-0028, 888-816-0054, 800-416-0058 and  866-856-0111.

I've spoken with a friend of mine on the IMPD.

Apparently, organizations like the "State Troopers Association" and the "Police Protection Association" are loosely affiliated with any real police organizations...and that's "loosely", at best.

My recommendation is that if you really do want to contribute, try PAL (Police Athletic League), the PBA or the FOP.

I have already called the Indiana State Troopers Association and asked to be taken off their calling list, but I still receive these calls. I ignore them and they don't leave a message.

I am the Director of Operations for the Indiana Troopers Association.  It is never our intent to intrude into the homes where we are not welcome.  All a person has to do when they are called is simply ask to be removed from the calling list.  We will promptly do this for anyone who asks.  There are thousands of Indiana residents who do give to us each year and we appreciate their support.  If you do not wish to be called, rather than spend your time in writing a negative note on a blog, just make a toll-free call to 800-671-9851 and ask to be removed....or simply tell the person who calls you to remove your number.   We have been in business since 1979 and over the past 30 years have provided support to our troopers, their families and thousands of deserving families in our state.

This is some outfit called the Indiana Troopers Assoc.  They have called daily, day and night, for the past month.  We usually don't answer when this number appears on Caller ID, but a few times we have answered and told them to stop calling and take us off their calling list.  They always say they will take us off their list and will not call anymore, but the next day we are getting calls again.  There is no stopping these people.

Call came in this morning just after 8am! Guy kept calling out on the answering machine like I could hear him. I'm also on the do not call list. Reguardless if charities are not confined by do not call lists, if they are wanting donations, calling this early is not the way to get one.

I've been getting calls from this number for days and days.  They never say a thing when I pick up.  They call my fax machine, also.  After reading these posts, I called the the Indiana Troopers Association at 800-671-9851 and asked them to stop calling me.  The lady on the phone was very nice and said they would "redlist" my numbers so that I would not be called again.  I sure hope this works...

Claims to be from IN State Troopers association. Third call in two weeks. They can not get the name & number combinations right (asked for Mrs. Hoffman this time). May be random digit dialing?

Told them not to call AGAIN. Said that I considered the calls harassment.

On the second call, I filed a complaint with state AG. This time, complaint to FCC.

They are very well-trained telemarketers who are aggressive and non-respectful. Because they claim to be a non-profit, they attempt to operate above the law ... but it's border line.

I have received at least one call a week from this number over the past six weeks. They always hang up and never leave a messege. Unfortunately we all have to deal with these jerks, but I am glad I am not alone. Thanks to all for the information on this number.

Got a call from 1800-784-0119 at 12:09pm.THe name came up as telemarketer.
I just let it go to voicemail.And ignored it.I refuse to pick up the phone unless I know who calls.
Been getting alot of telemarketer calls lately.Looked up the # on google and came up w/ this site.Thank you.
Ive tried to block them by my phone package.But they always get through that.Im getting tired of the phone calls.There annoying

us know that callers identifying themselves as ?Trooper Association?

are asking for donations. The number where the call is being generated

is 800-784-0119. The caller identified himself as ?Bill O?Neal?. When

the consumer was unwilling to give her bank account information over the

phone, he transferred her to ?Linda O?Neal.?

BBB checked with Indiana Troopers Association. Karen Shelton, Executive

Director, told us that the 800 number above is not theirs and they will

never ask for bank account information!!! When BBB tried to contact the

800-784-0119 number, it transferred to a voice message recording.

Don't call if you're selling.  Don't call just to hang up.

I got another call from 1-800-784-0119.  Same old thing, he said he was calling for the Indiana State Troopers Assoc, and wanted to remind me to "Buckle up".  When I told him I believed that this was a bogus charity he hung up.

They have called twice today. The second call woke our toddler up from his nap (he had just fallen asleep) >:(

Both times I answered the phone and said "hello,... Hello,..... HELLO!" and received no answer.
