Same here -- 2x a week -- call this number, when I do I get a busy signal

Same here 4 - 6 times a day.  I'm in Tampa Area Florida.

I received about 10 unknown calls this week and one message telling me to call this number and when i call it there is nothing there.

Started receiving calls this week. Always comes up "UNKNOWN". Finally left a message after several calls to call as soon as I got this message and gave their hours. Tried to call, just got a busy signal.  I am in NC also.  Is this some local crap ???  I will file complaint with the DO NOT CALL site when my 31 days are passed if I am still receiving calls.  Guess I will just have to put up with it until then.

I'm in St. Petersburg Florida and I get the calls 4 - 6 times a day.  Who are these people?  I want to throw my phone on the ground and step on it!

I live in Louisiana and I've been getting these types of calls for the past 2 weeks. Same message as before, with no one answering, just pre-recorded messages.

I started getting these calls as well, started yesterday 2x then today 3x. I tried calling  back with *67 same results of fast busy. I live in NC as well. This is rediculous!

i just tried to call that number. 1-800-784-0430. I got ' your call could not be completed' from cingular..not sure who these people are. I'm going to answer next time.

I live in ohio and receive about 4 calls a week from this number. a message is only left once stating to call from 1-10pm. I haven't called back. I don't owe anyone money so not sure why they are calling.

I live NC as well and it left a message on my landline answering machine, same message "Good Day, please call 1-800-784-0430. Our hours are..." First time it's called....hopefully the last!

I'm using AT&T (Cingular)...

I was told that unfortunately there is nothing they can do, since I've already registered for DNC! All they could have done was tell me to register, anyway...  

*SO* I went to the DoNotCall.org site and [found that I could "file..." and so I] filed a complaint. I am SERIOUSLY considering --although this wil literally take a good number of HOURS-- filing for EVERY SINGLE CALL (thank goodness for caller id).  Although they are all "Unknown," I register it as the number we are told to call:    (800)784-0430

I cannot have this waking me up EVERY morning-- AND every night after I go to bed!  My days are filled with soo many other calls from these sadists...  I can't take it!  I feel so HELPLESS.  It's coming up to two weeks now;  fourteen days of this nonstop nightmare!  

The only other advice I was given-- BESIDES CHANGING MY CELL NUMBER! [no!!! They will not do THAT to ME!]-- was to report this to my local law enforcement.  I don't know what they can do about an unknown # calling a cell, but its worth a try, I guess.  If everyone tries this...  Well, maybe we can get something done?!?

Unfortunately, there won't be an actual person on the other end of the phone line!  I felt the same way and finally answered tonight, only to hear a recorded message in a man's voice saying to call this number.

I live in NC as well and have been receiving the same "Unavailable" calls over the past week or so.  I have another question for everyone... what cellular company do you use?  Since it appears that we all live in NC, I wonder if there are other things we have in common that are making us targets to this harassment?  I live in Eastern NC and my cell phone service is with US Cellular.  If we could narrow it down, maybe we could actually do something about it...

I am in NC also and the calls started this morning at 7:50 am and have continued up until now (4 so far). I am assuming that it is a telemarketer from all of the information that I have looked at on the internet, but I can't find out exactly who it is.  This is getting on my nerves and i really can't wait unitl they call back and there is an actual person on the other line.....

me TOO!  I have been getting these calls, up to 6 and 7 a day, daily for over a week.  Its been my wake up in the morning and woken me up after I went to BED!!!  Nobody is here when I answer and it tell me to hold on and then tells ME to call the f-in number!  I'm on do-not-call and it's calling my cell and using my minutes up!  The number I'm told to call, of course, is 800-784-0430.  Other than that, no info is given from "UNKNOWN" that keeps calling...  We have to make this stop!

So we all live in NC??  What do we do?  Is this monster only calling cell phones?  I have been dealing with this and a migraine and it just keeps harassing me- but I can't turn my phone off or noone else can call if there is an emergency!  AAAUUGGGGHHHHH!!!  Help!

I keep getting the same call as well. I live in NC and for some reason this unavailable number keeps calling my cell phone. They left a message saying to call 800-784-0430 and left their business hours. When I call back it says all circuits are busy......Who in the hell are these freaks!

I have been getting the same message on my home phone - just a man saying call this number - he leaves no name.  I am not returning the call - but the call keeps coming every day. October 10, 2007 I would like for this to stop.

I too have been getting this call and am in NC.  Got a call yesterday and again today.

Seems to be making the rounds.  2 so far today, same recording and everything.

Calls several times a day at all times.  Caller ID says "unknown name unknown number"  Is there some way to trace this number to get it to stop?  I am on the do not call list and very irrate regarding this.

I have been getting the same calls that all of you are getting.  I did call back once a while ago and it had to deal with some people trying to sell s***.  And I had my CELLULAR phone off and I got six messages in five days.  Now I call back and the b*****ds probable disconnect and they just keep calling.  Someone needs to found out what is up because I am getting tired of getting the phone calls.

I have been getting this same call twice per day for about a week.  Same as all the others.  i actually answered the call yesterday 08/1302007 and a recoreded message said please hold all of our customer service representative are busy.  there was no one on the line.  I hung upp the telephone.  It is comiing to my cellular phone.  Very strange.

Just got a phone call with a prerecorded message saying "Good Day, please call 1-800-784-0430..." didn't say who the phone call was for, but listed the hours.   I called the number and the phone eventually rang with a busy tone.  I did *69 and it said the phone number was unknown.  Very weird - why wouldn't a company just talk to you while they have you on the phone? Furthermore, why waste all this time just to give me a number that doesn't work??

Constant calls from "number unavailable". Prerecorded message tells me to call this number. When I call the number I get a recording that says "all circuits are busy". Phone company (Verizon) is absolutely no help in tracing origin of call.
