What if you have been downsized and lost everything? did you think of that? the $50,000 dollar job you had turned into a $7.00 job? what if you cant find a second job even if you have been looking for months? that Your over qualified for the position because you are but it doesnt matter because all your trying to do is pay your bills but you cant seem to get a job even asking "Would you like fries with that?" before you open your mouth, think about the whats happening and not all of us have parents to help out. Chrysler will call all references.  Usually, it's an automated/recorded message.  Maybe your phone message outplays the Chrysler automated message.  Probably, someone put you down as a reference.  They're looking for your friend.

I get calls from them daily, I don't own a Chrysler car, I don't like Chrysler cars, and the number they keep calling is new!

They keep calling me repeatedly after I told each and every one of them that I have had this number for two years and the gal is in another state and I don't know her forwarding number.  GEESHHHHH.....I am sooo sick of them calling several times a day if I don't pick up and tell them that every day.....

Search show Pleasant Hills Chrysler in Pa, I am not even close to PA so why would I get called by a dealership?  This seems like a very dishonest or unethical caller, the reason why I never respond to unknown numbers!

When a collection company for Chrysler or whatever company calls then they look up the address and call any #'s attached to addresses that come up around the address they have for the people they are looking for.  I know this because after a whole bunch of BS with them calling this is what I found out fromt he TX atty general.

I got a call from this number this morning and they asked about a neighbor in my building gave me the address and everything, but I don't know any of my neighbors very much and don't know the one they asked about, but they kept trying to see if I knew anyone that did so they could call them. I hope that I don't start getting a bunch of calls from these people.

I'm back.  I just looked up Chrysler corporation on google.  They have 2 numbers for Chrysler Financial but neither is 800-788-5499.  The people I spoke to really didn't get the whole concept of what was going on.  I think they were an offshore/foreign call center.  

I finally told the customer service supervisor "you lack of an answer has answered my question"  Since they don't recognize the number, I'd say SCAM!

These idiots called me on 4/1/2009 and a lady asked if I knew "Marcos somebody", I said "No, who is that".  She stated that it was my neighbor.  I told her that I was on both the national and state of KS do not call list.  She said "This is not a sales call" (inferring that the do not call list didn't apply).  Ok, then it IS a COLLECTIONS call which means there are LAWS to protect people against harrassment.  However, I found out from my ex-wife's lousy credit that they CAN harrass anybody they like and there isn't thing one you can do about it.

So, today, I got a call from this number and it was a guy.  I told him that they had called before and that I told them then that I didn't want to be called again.  He said "this is the first time I've called you".  Whatever, it's the company you work for, so read the notes in the computer.  He hung up.
I called back and asked to speak to a manager, hung up.
I called back again and asked to speak to a manager.  I told Sharon, the floor supervisor, the WHOLE story and then I told her that if anyone from her company called me again I would have the KS attorney general give her a call.  I really didn't want to give her any of my information but I felt I had to give a little to get a little.  So, I gave her both my home phone and cell phone numbers and told her to add them to the computer and never call me again.  (side note: I think I'll go by a nice big Crysler tank and conviently forget to make the payments.  afterall, my phone is BLOCKED!!!   hahahahaha)

If you are getting seemingly random phone calls from these people there is (IMHO) a 99% chance it is because somebody you know "loves" you so much they put down your number on a form of some sort.  I'd talk to them civilly (or try - read below) and find out who they are after.  Then call the person they really want to talk to and chew *them* a new one instead of yapping at some poor slob who can't find a better job than hounding people for money ... who have no part in the fiscal stupidity.  I know exactly who it is they wanted when Mr. Estrada called me.  Hope you read this Mr. Estrada - YOU ARE AN A**!  I was 100% nice to you because I know there is 0% chance you are after me.  I don't have bad debt.  I have very little debt at all.

1-800-788-5499   My caller ID says "Toll Free" not who it is.  That should be changed where all toll free #'s are identifiable.

i don't think "do not call list" is helping.. i've gotton lot more stupid phone call on my cell phone after i put my number there..

They keep calling me to no message or anything!! Just a stupid call that drives me crazy because I am on the do not call list!!

I get calls from this number at work!! the person they ask for is someone i've never heard of and I know has never worked where I work! I called the number back, when I FINALLY got a a person on the line I told them the situation and was told the number was put on the do not call list. literally a minute after I hung up I got another call from chrysler from a different number!!!!! I knew that because I looked that number up on google!

the best thing you can do is let the world know how inconsiderate and ruthless chrysler financial is and maybe they would stop. because who would want to get a loan knowing that chrysler financial is crude rude and ruthless

looked up this phone #. Found out its the jerks.Read all the post on here, so i dont have much to add because all these post have done nothing but spoke the truth. They called me one day for my payment and asked me to borrow the money from someone to make my payment...... so i said okay, can you let me borrow so money so i can make my payment!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!   He didn't like that to much. LOL My charger will be paid in 2013, and i cant wait.  My next car will NOT be financed through these DICKS.

I was forced to turn in my Dodge car at the end of my lease. I had returned to college and am a new graduate without a job (NOT uncommon in Michigan) so they wouldn't sell the car to me using child support as income. I got a bill for almost $1000 for "lease termination" and over mileage after the dealer wouldn't let me turn the car in early. I get calls daily from different numbers, finally called back and spoke with Joyce. She was polite but they won't accept a partial payment of less than $250. I would make smaller payments and make the effort but they won't accept this. I don't want to destroy my credit but they don't want to work with me on this matter.

apparantly they have resurrected this calling number.  i got a hang up call from them today. of course from now on i will not even answer when they call.

Chrysler Financial collections are rude inconsiderate jerks. "Mr. Skidmore" is definitely one of the stupidest collections people I have dealt with and read about.  I find it humorous that loser collection bottom feeders like skidmore and jermain do not identify themeselves for who they really are on phone calls.  If they are so lagitimate and professional than what do they have to hide?  Cowards...hahaha

How does Chrysler Financial think that they can actually get people to make payments by being rude and forcing the person to hang up.  Would'nt you thnink that the goal would be to motivate the person to want to make a payment?

If successful collections is defined by being rude and making a big joke out of being rude and down right mean to people then may be Chrysler Financial collections and idiots like "mr. losermore" are successful.  However, from a numbers point of view both in terms of getting people on the phone and getting them to submit a payment as a direct result of a collections, call I submit that Chrysler Financial and scum bags like skidmore are not successful, but failures.  In this failure I find much humor...

I do not, nor will I ever, answer the phone or speak with a Chrysler Financial collections person ever again.  I NEVER make a payment with a collections person, I always send it in the mail as soon as I can get the money together.  

The funny part is that they surely cannot be good at their job since, as i keep reading that no one will answer their phone calls, which means that they are missing out on many opportunities to motivate people to get their payments in.  

While I understand that there are people who are basically thieves because they never ever make payments and have no intentions of doing so; However  there are many, many people who are truly working second jobs and doing everything they can to get their payments in, and they are still treated as though they are completely ignoring their responsibilities.  It is clear that there are different kinds of people who are struggling to make their payments yet the simple minded losers at Chrysler Financial collections seem to lump everyone into the category of people who are completely ignoring their responsibilities to debt.  In doing so, Chrysler Financial collections bottom feeders are missing out on many opportunities to motivate payments from well intended people.  If I were a Chrysler stockholder I would be horrified by the conduct of Chrysler Financial collections.

I own a business and received several calls from this number for someone I do not know and argued with me as to whether I did or not because this town is not very big so I hung up. Called right back and said he just called this business and they never heard of me( I am only employee) and then was real smart alek and said "lets try this again" so I hung up again. Googled number found all this  I hope whomever they want files bankruptcy like Chrysler did.
