Typical attitude of anyone that I have corresponded with at SST.  This company is absolutely ridiculous, they have even returned payments.  Some Mickey Mouse operation.

I have received several calls from this number.  When I answer it there is no one on the line, it's just a recording putting me on hold telling me to stand by for an important message.

They are system service technologies.  SST. They call for medallion bank.  They only call if you haven't made your payments. They are within their legal rights.  Pay on time and they won't call. If you can't pay on time, call them first and they will work with you. Now let all you deadbeats start bashing me because I speak the truth.

My husband and I get calls from this crazy company at least 3 or 4 times a day.  We are only behind 1 payment.  We do not have caller I.D., but have been at home in the past from time to time in the past few days.  We noticed when they call they do not leave a message at all.  If you answer, a voice machine comes on to say "all our representatives are busy right now; please wait on the line".  I hang up everytime this message comes on.  Also, most times I answer, there is a foreigner on the line asking for Les (my husband) or me (Ruth).  They always mispronounce my name.  We are so sick of them calling us so many times a day.  Never have we been involves with a company that bugs people that much.  We called consumer complaints to no avail.  They told us if we owe this bill, we should pay it off; then they won't bother us anymore.  I have read about people still getting bugged by this ridiculous company even after their bill is paid.  We are seriously considering suing this company and would like to see them out of business as soon as possible.  And I agree with you in that their workers are very ignorant and no where near being polite.  I do not think they know the meaning of the word.  My husband and I hang up on them everytime.

I agree, we have had problems with SST also.  They don't provide proper account information and give us statements saying we owe money, but when we call about it, noone seems to know why we owe this money.

Let me tell you SST is the worst company in the world to do a loan through. I have been fighting with them for the past 6 months to get a payment due date change. They fax me a due date change document, charge me a late fee and a payment over the phone fee and claim they haven't received my change form. The sad thing is my loan is through American First Credit Union and because of them outsourcing my loan to this company "SST" I would never carry any loans through American First Credit Union and I would advise anyone else to do the same. It's a sad day when customer service is put to the way side to add additional dollars to the banks bottom line.

I guess NOT ALL ?MEMBERS COME FIRST?

This company claims to have the right to collect a auto loan for a company that shut down. First of all the car is not titled in SST name, second when I asked them to show me the title it was a photocopy (badly taken one) and the title still remains in Eloan name, which Eloan doesn't exist. I ask for Eloans company information or how I can speak to them about my auto loan SST provided me with the address and company that no longer exists. So whom are they "servicing" this loan for? Where are my payments going? They cannot grant me title to the vehicle because it's not in their name...SST is a bogus company! I asked them for proof that they are allowed to service this Eloan. SST provided me with a copy of their contractual agreement with Eloan. It is not dated, signed without a witness or notarization.   Meaning, the contract is so flimsy it wouldn't stand up in court. I stopped paying them! They are bogus and have no right to collect a debt that isn't theirs , no can they prove they have a right to collect the debt. So now they have threatened repossessions however in my state the bank or loan servicer must have title in their name otherwise it is illegal. I am just waiting because I am going to sue this company and expose them for the thieves they are ...the only calls they will be making is a collect call to an attorney or a bail bondsman. Because folks they are a scam..Somehow they got our information but once you begin asking the hard questions they hang up, yell, scream, because it's a scam. They provided me documents to back up my claim that they have no legal right to collect the debt and furthermore have no legal right to repossess the vehicle. Thank you SST for faxing me all that documentation that states how you have absolutely no legal rights to collect the debt. See you in court! Jim Laws knows no laws..He seems to think he doesn't have to play by the rules that everybody else does..your a front a scammer, you find bankrupt loan sharks and pick up their business..SHUT THIS SHARK DOWN!! people investigate..dig a little deeper please!!! Don't send this company another dime until you do!!!

- Did you read or understand the part of your creditor contract which grants call permission to all its assigns, including debt collectors? ..... NO
- Did you catch the FDCPA rule which allows a skip tracing collector to call non-debtors? ..... NO
- Do you have proof that your misdirected DNC complaints directly stopped the collector's calls? ..... NO
- Would a judge grant you summary judgment against a debt collector on your faulty claims of DNC violation? ..... NO
- Did you in fact invoke the correct law if the result was this collector "calling 15 times
a day for over a month"? ..... Hell, NO

Had you dropped a cease-comm on their heads as Alf described, you could have cut them at the knees about four weeks sooner, *and* laid the legal trap to sue them if they proved stupid enough to disobey your orders. You already had an actionable call pattern "with intent to harass or annoy" besides.

If you are going to make a stink about consumer abuses and preserve your rights, you should do it wisely and to your best advantage. Coming out here to brag about your flaky theory of mystery call combat and make ignorant remarks is not helpul to other readers.

Despise this company!!!!!!!!    My car loan was originally w/ M and I bank.  After 31/2 yrs. they sold my loan to these sharks.   After repeated questioning  as to what type of buisness they were, the girl on the phone said they were a collection agency.   Collection Agency, I said, I have not be late w/ my car loan ( well once in 4 yrs.)    She then proceeded to say they were "third party collectors".
M and I extracted their pound of flesh out of me and now these people.  I have less than a 2,000 balance on my vehicle but my payments are 420.00 for the next 11 mos.   This does not compute!
I ignore the calls and yes they do call my cell phone but I never answer that either!
As far as I am concerned they are SOL!!!!   They will not enter my life and disrupt it!

I received a call from SST - in regards to my cousin two days ago.  She (Dalonna at SST) said that they (my cousin) used me as a reference.  Which i am sure they did, but then  SST was asking for TOO MUCH information on ME.  Asking my address and wanted my SSN and any other phone number they could reach me at along with my place of business.  To be a reference they don't need to have my personal information.  My cousin paid off the loan almost 6 months ago and showed the cancelled check to me.  They are hasselling him for more money because they took over 2 months to post it to his account and want him to pay legal fees, late charges and extra interest.  If you go through SST LEAVE that company.  I have turned them into the B.B.B.

Apparently my car loan was sold from one company to another and payments aren't posting properly. They have an old phone number for my account. When I called to clear things up, I got an extremely rude person who demanded much more information than necessary to locate my account. After a few minutes of her badgering me to give additional information, she hung up on me.

I'm all for collection calls where appropriate, but this was so far to the extreme for the first-ever call I have received, I have no doubt the other complaints are valid.

My mother *69'd them when they called her house. (Yes, she's the only person out there without caller ID.) When she gave me the number to track online, it led to Systems and Services Technologies. I just found out that my auto loan got switched to this company. They had her number as a reference number, I guess. After reading all of this, I'm glad that I wrote a check for the complete balance and mailed it this morning.(I was lucky to be able to do that.) I don't want to deal with a company like this for any longer than I absolutely have to. I hate business that do dirty work to get their job done.

They just called me about my neighbor?? Those IDIOTS!! i pay extra money a month to not have my phone number given out or published and these idiots got my number. I registered my number on the national do not call list and they still got it. I dont even know who my neighbor is. I live in a a huge apartment complex and do NOT talk to my neighbors. I called back and told them not to call me anymore because I dont give a S**T about who lives next door to me and has debt. Everybody that lives around me has debt probably and I'm NOT part of any of it. If anybody gets a call like this tell them you dont know your neighbor and that you dont want them to call you, This is OUTRAGEOUS DO ONT BECOME PART OF YOUR NEIGHBORS DEBT PROBLEMS. IM NOT A MESSENGER AND WILL NOT DO THAT COMPANIES WORK FOR THEM. F*** THEM!!!

I have no regard for collection types -- but as to this company, SST is a company which apparently BOTH does collections as well as account services for others.  Being new to Tulsa, when I had to purchase an auto more quickly than anticipated a few years ago, the dealer made arrangements for me for a loan with a Texas credit union with whom they have a relationship.  I even have an account with the c.u. now, and know that they "farm-out" their auto loan payment processing, and my loan is still with them.  SST performs this processing function, and I make payments by due date, except for a couple of times when out-of-tonn, and those payments were made between due date (24th ea. mo.) and end of month.  I called after using auto pay system to inform in these instances.  No penalties unless payments are over a week late, and I have been treated courteously be anyone with whom I have spoken there.  Again, I suspect they may have two "divisions" or such.  Whatever, my experience positive, and if they do have a hard-a** collection operation also, they must do a good job of separating them - since the latter are usually populated by smarmy weasel types.

I received a call today from 800-789-8001. It was SST. The lady on the line called me by my name, only mispronounced it.  When I said it correctly, she slammed the phone down.  I called them back.  I do not have any accounts with them.  Someone has used me as a reference in the past, and I am sorry that they did.  SST employees are extremely rude.  I would never want anything to go through SST.  Be careful of them.

Guys let me say I got a call from this number too. When I called it back I thought it was bogus stuff too and they were wanting all this information about me, until I found out that my previous and current auto loan with a company no longer did auto loans and had transfered my account to them. Thus all the phone calls were to update my new account with them and welcome me to SST. They ARE infact a third party collection/loan department so some calls to people may be for debt collection but if you have a current loan out with a company try actually talking with both companies to be sure and I am sure the company would not be a problem. They haven't for me yet.So not all things are bad for this company just depends on what they are calling YOU for. For me it was just to inform me that my auto loan had transfered from the previous company to SST, a Third Party Loan collector/debt collecttion agents.
