This is from Allied Insterstate, a collection agency. I get calls from them looking for a dead beat who apparently had my number before i got it. They will insist that either you are the person they are calling for, or that you  know their where abouts. They will continue to harrass you.

This collection agency keeps calling about a supposed debt way over 10 years old.  Several tactics are used including offers for lower finance charges if I just press 9 now.  Also a recording on my answering machine stating that I am admitting that I am the person they want to talk to because I did not hang up when given the chance.  "By staying on the line (and this is an answering machine which cannot hang up following verbal directions) you are acknowledging the fact that you ARE the person we are trying to contact".  They never quit.  It is likely that they call my neighbors, who don't really give a rat's a** either.

I have no idea who you are nor do I care. I have never dealt with you and never will. I will not nor have I ever answered personal questions from a person I do not know so stick your business where the sun does not shine.

It's Allie Interstate. Do a search. They are highly disreputable and should be sued until they no longer exist.

They've called my job several times. I've told them not to call, and I hang up. They try to use disguises and make threats. I don't know what to do other than hang up on them. My company doesn't provide caller id so I never know who's on the other line until I answer.

They call 5-10 times each day   as early as 7:55 AM to 9:00 PM I am getting tired of it....

This number keeps calling for an ex boyfriend. They said he had my name down as a reference for a job and they lost his number :) I said I could take a message and pass it on but I was not able to give out his number. They won't stop calling.

I dont answer it, but they call back frequently 5 times a day the most.

what people do not think about when they receive calls from a.i. currently they are on a pretty cheap dialer, they cannot control who they call. fdcpa says they can call from 8am to 9pm and up to 7times a day if no one answers. when you call back screaming to remove your number and hang up, you dont give them enough time to pull the account that attached with your number to remove it, once it is removed it takes 48 hours for it to be cleared from the system. when they receive the accounts, they send notification letters, and fdcpa only requires one letter to be sent, but they send one every month. and if you know that the debt is yours, even if you got screwed by the original creditor, then its yours, be and adult and just own up. and yes obviously, i know this for a reason, they dont like your know it all attitude any more than you like them calling, oh and if your on your states DO NOT CALL LIST guess wht, that is for solicitation calls only. and if they dont disclose who they are to you because your not the person they are calling for, its because of the fdcpa yet again, they know the fdcpa very well, get to know it too before you start to act like you know everything. and just because they are collectors and they bother you, doesnt mean they are just as hard working as you, the debtor. thank you all and have a great day! remeber the golden rule, because generally they dont get rude untill you get rude.

Allied Interstate has been calling my house for weeks asking for my son.  He works nights so I tell l them He's not available.    I called it and got voicemail from a guy named "Jose" at Allied  Today they called and my husband answered and gave the phone to our son.  I don't have caller ID anymore so I don't know what number appears there, but the call back number is 866-422-5162. They harassed him for an hour and he felt "forced" to give them his account info.  The bill they claim he owes was paid off over 5 years ago and he hasn't received anything from that company since that time.  Now I'm not sure what he's going to do.  I told him he needs to close that checking account first thing tomorrow.

LEAGLY, if you say "I'm ceasing you from calling this # or any # you have on record for me" they MUST according to the FTCPA laws. They will have that request recorded and if they do call again report them for harassment... No matter how pissed you are at them for calling you, if your SSN is on their records they will continue to call you, friends, anyone you know.  If its a federal loan... your kinda SOL its a government loan, they'll come after anything paychecks, taxes....

They're lying when they say that.  They call me once a year for two of our old roommates whom we haven't lived with in over 7 years.  We've moved 5 times since we've lived with those roommates and there is no way that they could have our updated info that they could use us as a reference even if they wanted to and vise versa, I'm not even sure what state those people live in now.

Allied Interstate is most likely using an online people search.  If you look yourself up you will see every city and state that you've lived in and if you pay for the service it will provide you with more detailed information.  The problem is that it will also show every person who has ever lived in the same house hold with you.  You're forever linked with those people and with anyone else who has ever lived with those people.

We've had collectors call not only me for these roommates, but my mother-in-law and my parents and the only link that those ex roommates have to those people is at one point in time my mother-in-law lived with my husband and me (not at the same time as the roommates in question) and at a different point in time my husband and I lived with my parents.

These guys are annoying some lady name "Candice Wright" keep calling me every single day. They have the nerve to call my boss and start saying "I HAVE A TIME SENSITIVE INFORMATION FOR YOUR EMPLOYEE" . I tell them to stop calling me and my work but they still call every day. They are going to get me fired.  Anyways After 2 weeks of candice's phone assault I decided to call her back.... She started demanding that i pay 400 dollars a month on some old AZZ student loan. I WORK MINIMUM WAGE... I have no car, and no savings.... I live pay check to pay check... I told her this but she is a well trained DOG.... she just keeps at it...  I found some information on some website made by a former collector and he talks about everything... Alll the nAsty tactics these collection agencies employ..... READ ABOUT YOUR OPTIONS... it turned out my payments were as low as 100 dollars a month.... THIS IS HIGHWAY ROBBERY.... Allied Interstate called this morning looking for deadbeat stepson who has not lived here in well over 6 years.  When I said he does not live here, they hung up.  I called the number back and they asked for him?  I lit into the guy and said the last person hung up on me and remove this number from your list.  I told him I am keeping track of the calls and will turn them in.

Allied interstate calls everyday and every day I tell them there is no William that lives here to quit calling. They called again today and I said I told you yesterday you have the wrong number, he replies "i will call you everyday if you want to be rude" I wished I had a number to call and harrass them at!

Allies Interstate calls my home several times a day and leaves No messages. I have answer the phone and nobody there. No bills have been received. They are now calling my daughter home she lives in a different state and calling my son-in-law cell #  and we have No idea how they got his number. This is harrassment.
I am sending a letter to the company certified and to the banking commissioner.

I have the same situation and filed a complaint with the FCC and registered with the National do not call list.  They still continue to call and hand up.
I wonder if we can all get together and file a class action law suite.

I have received calls from someone who says they are from Allied Interstate and saying they are a debt collection agency . The person did not identify who they are and asked for a name of a person that is not me. The name that they gave was similar to mine ,but not mine. The person also called day before yesterday in the evening saying something about me owing money to Southwestern Bell. SWB does not exist anymore. The other evening when they called they repeatedly called again and again. Today when the person called and after I said that the person of the name they kept saying did not live here and I asked repeatedly what they wanted and also that I monitor my credit report ,do not give private info on the phone the person hung up.

I researched on the internet and found a number for Allied Interstate and the person I spoke to said I did not have the right Allied Interstate.

This supposed collection agency calls here day and night.  When I answer the phone the recording just repeats itself over and over.  Calling their 800 number is no use - I can't get an answer there either.  We do NOT owe any debt, period.  How messed up can a "company" be?  What a bunch of baloney.

Several calls a week from Allied interstate Collection Agency, 800 791-3266, they are never on the line, don't leave a message and when you call them tell you they record your call.      I refused to have my call recorded.

I have no idea who they are, or why they call.  I think I will start calling them every few mins. to harrass the hell out of them.

No messages left, but annoying phone calls daily with no one there when I answered. I do not owe anyone, therefore it must be for someone else. I find this annoying that I cannot call the number back, or have a way to quit this!

Received multiple calls from this number - maybe twice a week.
Each time they call, they ask for a different name - today it was "Wilbur".
The rep became irritated when I demanded to know why they continue to call for people who did not reside in my household. She would not reveal the reason for her call.

This phone number calls us every single day at apx 8:35 am and every single day we tell them the person they are looking for does not live here and give them her phone number. And every single day we tell them to refrain from calling again and every single day they call again.

They are call for someone who does not live here and never has.  I have told them not to call my number because the person they want is not here nor did he have permission to use my telephone number for any reason.
They will not stop calling and they wake me up every morning calling.

I keep receiving calls from this number.  They asked for me, I told them they had my roommate and that I could take a message.  They wouldn't tell me what they wanted.  All they would say is that I knew what they were calling for and I was expecting their call.  The guy said all this with a sexual undertone to his voice.
