Yes, the fine print on the sites usually state by filing the form, you are agreeing to be contacted... however once contacted, if you inform them you no longer wish to be, then you have the right not to be hounded.

I have never taken a survey; but I have a suspicion that the number was sold by Monster. I have gotten a flurry of career and education calls...

The only way that I have been able to stop the calls is I tell them they have the wrong number, so far so go. Hope it helps

I do not pick up unknown (to me) numbers. According to what I've read here, it's an "Education" call from a website. However, I DO read the fine print on anything that I submit on the Internet, if it says that agreeing to terms openly allows them to contact me, I don't post it. And most of the site I've been working with give an option to opt out of being contacted.

Anything I've submitted lately has been for job searching, and if they ask if I'm interested in going back to school, I answer NO on top of checking that I DO NOT WANT to be contacted.

this number keeps calling all times of the day. i called back and it had something to do with education.  asked to stop calling but it has been two days and they have stilled called.

i worked for education advance is a quality monitored line. and the reasen the call it bucause you people felled form online indicating on interest on earning a collage degree.

I got call from them after filling out a survey. I didn't answer but if i recieve call again I am going to say "me no English".

Called few min ago no message just a waste called them back and requested my number removed immediately.

called me in the morning so i was half asleep when i answered, some guy asked if i was there, i lied and told him i wasn't, when i asked him if i could take a message (to find out why he was calling me) he hung up.

seems that these people will get you easily with any online survey form you might do to watch 'the office' or anything at all, they call from 3 different numbers, one of which is in ontario, canada, and that leads me to believe they exist outside of United States rules.  I got calls from the exact same re-routed bengali guy through canada twice, once with this number and once right after that with no number no name, and he yelled at me and threatened me and told me i was a liar when I said I wasn't me.  He even had the gall to say I was on a cell phone and I was on a landline, and that Mr. myname said to call mr. myname personally after I said mr. myname isn't here and said not to talk to anyone who won't tell me who he is.  lol.  Somebody put your number in somewhere, they aren't going to stop unless you specifically make your number a viscious place to call.  I wouldn't bother with saying FBI, I would say 'please hold, interpol field..(click click click) message being recorded, please hold for interpol office section mI3, rerouting, please hold...and keep doing that.  over and over, even if they talk, act like a disinterested operator, say yes sir/maam i understand please hold, absoloutely do not act like you are listening or interrupting or not just rereading scripts in an office somewhere. interpol field office, still rerouting...  That has stopped EVERYONE.  if you say it right, like you aren't listening, and use a clicker of some type with no outside noise, and don't talk into phone.  lol, that usually stops anybody but a robot.  fbi doesn't work for foreign based ventures.  interpol does.

Calls about 4 times a day. I never answer because I Dont know the number. Getting very annoying. I put my phone so that only my contacts numbers get through.

this number called my house phone at 4:37 in the morning and by the time my husband go to the phone they had hund up.  i have tried calling it but only get a busy signal.

wtf. that number has called me 3 times in the past two days but i have not answered. and now im glad i didnt! i did not sign up for anything online so idk how they got my number but i wish they would stop bothering me!

Reading other comments on this sight and have also received two calls which I did not answer but have no idea who this person or company is and want to know who they are and how did they get this number and how to get them to stop calling me.

I received two calls on Friday, two on Saturday and this morning (Sun., 12/28/08).  I was at work and unable to answer my cell the first four times.  No voice mail was left, which I found frustrating, especially since it was an 800 number (an unusual phenomenon for incoming calls in my world).  When I answered this morning, a curt and bored sounding woman asked to speak to "Bob."  There is no Bob here and when I told her that, adding that she had a wrong number, she apologized and I ended the call.  Let's see if that keeps me from getting any more calls from them.  However, I'm disappointed that this site can't tell me who or what those calls were from.

i'm sick and tired of this number in my caller id if i see it again i'm going to call the police >_<.

Received call on 8/27/2007 at 10:03 am. Got number off of ID Box and called them to find out what it was about. They said I filled out a form on the computer and they got the info from that. It was about Education. Sorry I told them that was a lie and I was filing a compliant. I have been on the DO NOT CALL list for several years and renewed it recently.
