I retrieved the same voice message today from my answering machine.  The message was left on June 11, 2014. the caller identified himself as Officer Jack Wilson (He was very difficult to understand with heavy accent.) I listened to the voice message several times to piece the following"  He stated he was with a federal bank  and I need to call him back.  he repeated the 800 794-8303 number twice. He mentioned their was a legal complaint filed against me and it had something to do with unemployment or employment (couldn't make it out).  Seeing these posts I will definitely disregard the volatility of this call.

Got a call from this number, from a man with a thick Indian accent telling me he was from a federal law enforcement agency and I was seconds away from being arrested and needed to call a 888 number now to get the details to avoid arrest. I asked what jurisdiction he was calling from, and apparently, although in law enforcement, he did not know the meaning of the word "jurisdiction," which I found interesting. I asked what city he was calling from, he said "Washington DC." When I asked his name, he said "William O'Conner" which made me laugh out loud, and I hung up. He immediately called back, very angry, and asked if my intention was to "try and run" instead of face my legal troubles. I told him to give me the number - again, a 888 phone number, and hung up again. I googled the number he gave me, which comes back to an Asian distributor of ??? (all in Asian characters). This is the weirdest scam call I ever received.

My brother is a federal agent he said not to call the number they give you, its possibly a identity theft scam. Once you call they have your name number address and can easily hack your phone. Other possibility is once you call them back the call itself is charged to their company, one call could cost over 400.00 and since you called you become responsible.

These idiots have been calling me all week from two different "agencies" the IRS and the some National Govt Agency. I think I've gotten 4 or 5 message.. They are sending sherifs to my house with a warrant or my place of employment blah blah blah...
I actually wanted to mess around with them pretending I wanted to comply, start crying, tell them I'll do anything..and then tell them what losers they are before hanging up.. Haha- unfortunately I don't have the time or energy to do that...

I received a call from this guy at the front desk of the office where I work, asking for my name.  I only supplied my first and he was insistent on getting my last name, which I would not provide without a reason.  In his thick accent, he wouldn't give me a reason.  When asked where he was from, he said Washington D.C.  I probed further, asking what country he was from. He again replied Washington.  After hanging up on him, since his accent was hard to understand and I did not want to give him any information, he continued to call back three more times because of my "sweet voice," asking how he could make his voice more sweet, if this was my personal phone line, and if we could be Facebook friends.
Obviously this is a scam, do not give this man any information.

Scammers beware!! Got a call from this number twice this morning..didnt answer neither one left a voicemail saying his name was George hemins and that it was a federal complaint and that I needed to call asap to clear this problem if not they were going to my place of employment...at the end dumb butt harassed me by saying call or ill be blasted!! Retard im so scared!! Wasnt professional at all if he says it was from a federal buisness matter!! He left this number 832 261 4702 to call!! Keep waiting !! He had an accent like from india!! Becareful!!

I just received a call from this number, same bad accent same warning to show up on my doorstep or work. Since I get my messages transcribed it was even harder to figure out who this was and what they were saying. I want to thank you all for your comments or I would've been panicked and watching over my shoulder! Feels like a total scam to me too.

2nd call today from this jerk claiming to be an Officer from the Federal Criminal Investigative unit because there were several complaints against me and he will be coming out to arrest me. I ignored the 1st call since I didn't know the number & answered the 2nd time thinking it was important...He was super rude & I told him to make sure he doesn't call my number back because I am reporting this # to the police department.
Apparently an idiot with too much time on his hands!

I just received a call from this a$$ hole saying that the FBI would be arriving at my front door with regards to a legal matter against me.  Could barely understand the idiot and asked to speak to his supervisor.  His answer was that he would provide me with a phone number.  After a few choice words, I hung up.  I had written down the number and googled it.  I finally resorted to calling the number back and got some company where I could order a hose and to have my credit card ready.  This is obviously some fool who thinks it is funny to try to intimidate people!  

I received a call from same number yesterday.  Indian gentleman told me I was involved in an investigation.  My husband called him back demanding his name.  Man declined.  Husband called the FBI, was told it was from off shore and scammers.  Funny thing about this story, is that I had just left a mandatory meeting for my work, where we had been discussing scammers and fraudulent transactions.  I laughed at the guy....

Same thing just happened to me.  I am not going to call it back and I am going to block the number on my phone.  

I just received a call from this number.  He said Hi (and used my name, since my name is on my voice mail recording).  He said he was officer John Williams and I need to call him urgently before anything goes wrong with me as in someone at my doorstep or place of employment.  He had a very thick accent and I had to listen to it multiple times to even get that out of the message.  He left that number to call him back, which I will not!

Hi everyone, I receive the same call to Miss Amber! The man on the phone was hard to understand. I listen two and three times on my answer service he made me nerves. I was thinking what did?? he said they were coming up to my job. He said I should call him back. So I look up this number and found out you guys are having the same problem. I have not seen any Indians as a police officer in my state.  Thank you Amber and the internet.

I just got a call from the same #. It was also about IRS. I hope no one actually falls for this. He wanted $2000 to clear it up or I would be arrested. I argued with him and said I don't deal with matters like thus over the phone and was sure I would have received something in the mail. He got frustrated and said well be prepared to be arrested then hung up. I couldn't understand him either!!

I also got the call and the guy said he was officer John Smith with a federal complaint.  You couldn't understand the name of the investigation dept. and he said I had a legal complaint at the courthouse and to call his supervisor.  He claimed he was just doing his job.  I kept asking him to repeat himself and told him I couldn't understand him, which I couldn't, but I continued to aggravate him as much as he was me.  I also told him I was calling the police to report them.

I just got call from this guy and ask to pay over $2000.00 for previous years tax. IRS do not ask money without any documentation!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I had the same call, it was ridiculous.  They wanted $835 from me. I asked my grandmother about it and she told me the irs would do it themselves if they had an issue about anything.

I received the same call a few minutes ago.  I let the machine get it and Ii have it recorded.  He said I needed to contact them before someone comes to my employer and locks me up...... very heavy Indian accent,  thats some crazy stuff!

I just received the same exact call. The lady was yelling at me about how important it was to call her supervisor and that she was a federal agent who was letting me know that I had a federal complaint against me.  She was very pushy. The number she gave me was the same she called from.  I called from a different phone and got an answering machine that said it was full.  MASSIVE SCAM!!

Got a phone from this number stating he is a federal officer regarding a claim in my company. I'm pretty sure is a scam.

I hung up on him .  He called back and left the msg on my answering machine  My husband called the # back and did not even get a ring all it said was "goodbye'' then I got on the computer to check it out !!! I got a call from this 800-794-8308 and saying I had a legal claim against me. They were calling me by Jody Hanzi. I looked and it was linked to some kind of Modular corp in Huntingon beach. I haven't called it back in fear they might get info like I heard some places doing that. The man was hard to understand with a heavy accent and spoke poor English.

I received a call from this number today asking for "Miss Amber" (caller did not know my last name and was clearly from India). He claimed that there had been a formal complaint filed against me, and that while he could not provide any details regarding this complaint, he would provide me with the number for his supervisor, who I would have to contact in order to find out who filed the complaint and what the complaint was about. I told him I would not be calling anyone, that if there was really a formal complaint filed against me, I expect to be contacted directly. He then read off an old address of mine, a place that I haven't lived in 5 years. I told him that that was not my address. I told him I would not be calling anyone and he finally gave up and hung up. I looked up the phone number and found it listed on one of those websites that have numbers you can purchase. It was also linked to a construction company in California, but I think they may have either changed their number or are no longer in business. I called the number back and was greeted with "How can I help you?" No business name mentioned, no name given, nothing. I asked the man that answered if he was aware that his number was linked to a construction company in California. He quickly put me on hold. I hung up. I haven't received a call back.
