Missed a call

I too got taken in by this scam back in June under the Wal-Mart gift card.  Same thing, they took the shipping charges out and then took 2 $49.95 payments right after.  I called Protection Junction and did get someone.  I told them to cancel by phone and by email, but at the end of June they took 39.95 out for something I did not purchase.  As I had used my debit card, I was able to go to my bank and contest the charges.  I filled out a form contesting the charges and a letter explaining what happened and my bank credited me the money back to my account except for the shipping charges. They also issued me a new debit card.

They took me for $99.95 PLUS another $39.95 on this month's bank statement.    I filed a complaint with the Federal Trade Commission, but it is certainly too late.  Nobody returns my calls.  They put you on incessant hold.  This company is a SCAM, SCAM, Scam!!  If there is a lawyer out there that can hellp us, PLEASE do!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

on june the 7 2010 they took me for aride i am over dratf at the bank my phone is going to be off this weekend we need a class action sue against this company if get someone to handle the cASE

I also received a text saying to call a number to get $200 in walmart giftcards.  The woman was so quick to explain I had to ask her to review the details a few times. They did send me a little pamphlet, which explains that you have to fill out a form and send it back to them, then they will send you vouchers (for what im not sure because you need to spend $50 or more at a store, send the receipt to them, and then they will supposedly send you $25 back each time) this dosnt sound like giftcards to me, they probably just want to get your information off the receipts.   I tried for 2 days straight to call the customer service # and left 2 messages & an email with no response.  When i saw that they charged my card the $9.95 I decided to call my credit card company to have my card cancelled so no other fee's would be charged.  Somehow, the woman at my credit card company was able to get intouch with a live human being at protection junction, James Cooper, and he said he would cancel my membership & I wouldnt be charged any furthur...  so we'll see, but if they do I will dispute the charge with my credit card company.

NOOOO!! I got the text message too about the $200 Target gift card.....GRRRR...I fell for it, and the customer service line they gave mailbox is full, no one answers. I will have to cancel my card tomorrow. They already charged the 9.95 shipping fee, I'm sure another charge will be coming soon. I'm so ticked...BEWARE!

They also got me for a total of $109. Something needs to be done with this company. They need be shut down, if anyone knows how to get this money back please post it so we all can see. I'm going to call the news stations and have thier company made known to the public so noone els falls for thier scams

I too was taken on this scam promising gift certificates. Called the number only Got an answer machine they took me for over $200.00. Has anybody call their banks.

Gee they seem to have changed the scam.  Now they are using Targets name and got for 9.95 and then 99.95.  I reported as fraud. Called Target who now has their lawyers on it.  Also cancelled my card.

I got the same text today. My text said I would receive $100.00 gift card but when I called they said a $200.00 gift card. And I tried the number and all I got was a voice mail. I am cancelling my card today.

Same issue as the other posters. I'm trying to get a hold of these people to cancel this subscription. They conveniently won't answer the phone or return my email. I've already spoken to my bank - so it looks like the next step is getting a new card. Beware of this company.

they also got me i got a text message saying i could recieve a $200.00 gift voucher if i called this number 8885058643 i recieved a text message from this number 6464215691 so i called them back hoping to get the gift card and gave them  all my debit info and they said if i wanted to cancell to call this number 8007957998 i tried to cancell but i always got a voicemail but i did the smart thing i cancelled my debit card and got a new one its one big scam the company should be shut down

they got me too they texted me. I called back agreed. I received no package but they took my money. I did one better i cancelled my card.

the same happened   to me. they offered me a free walmart $200 gift card with a one month subscription to protection junction. when i tried to cancel my membership a few days later i also could NOT get any one one the phone. i just cut of my debit card like red head mentioned above. hopefully that works.

First charges were  two sets of $4.95.  This total $9.90.  Then there were  two sets of $49.99, This total $99.90.  I have tried for a week to get them on the phone.  NOTHING.   I have called all the numbers the bank has to give me.  The bank tells me that the only thing I can do is to get a new debit card.  I guess another $99.90 will come out if I don't get a new card.

these people are using wal mart name to get money out of people
