called and did not speak until I asked, you need someone, then a lady said,
ah, ah (sounded like she was suprised that someone answered) then I said, you
called me, I didnt call you, then I hung up.

Called and did not leave a message.  They are a fundraising (telemarketing) company, working for non-profits and political orgs.

Believe this is a Marketing firm that will take at least part of the donation---suggest you donate by sending directly to the St. Jude hospital in Memphis, not through these people.

You can always spot telemarketers by their 800 number and "name unknown" on the second line of the incoming caller ID.

No one said anything, after I said hello several times they hung up.

I have gotten calls several times from this number to my cell phone, always in the afternoon and they hang up before i even have a chance to pick the phone up. I think they hang it up when my ringback tone starts playing.

I have been receiving calls from this number several times a day.  I don't pick up and they don't leave a message.  The calls start coming at 7 in the morning and go on until 11 at night.  My husband just came home from the hospital after having surgery and he can't get any rest with these calls coming at all hours.
I picked up once, but no one says anything.

I got a call from this number and called it back.  you reach a recording that explains it all.  Fundraising companies are exempt from the Do Not Call list. Its MGS Communications for non-profit and political companies.

Received several calls from this number and they never answer or leave a message.  I am beginning to think the no call list doesn't work.

Received a call four times in 48 hours.  No message left and I do not intend to pick up when they call again.

This number calls us multiple times each day and evening.  It has to stop.  Often when I pick up there is no one there.  They do not leave messages and when I attempt to return the call I get a message that says they are not accepting calls at this time.

I am on a do not call list.

hello, they called me from 1-800-796-0596 and they asked me for monetary donation for St Jude Hospital for children with cancer  ( I have donated directly to them for sick children before)  They confirmed my address with me, but I don't have the funds to donate right now.  They are send1ng me something.  Is this a scam?

They called me and said they were from the Demacratic Ladies Society and wanted a donation of at least $25 for the drive they are having so they can send flyers to Republicans to stop them from ridiculing President Obama. I told her where to go.

They called me 3 times. All were late afternoon. All to my cell phone. First two times they hung up without leaving a message. Last time they left dead air for about 15 seconds. You could barely hear voices faintly talking in the background. I'm getting very unhappy with these people. I've been tapped before and harassed too! This won't go long until I email the FCC and their local police. We'll see how they like cold calling and wasting my minutes! I am on the national and state no-call lists!

If you want me to answer my phone, a Greek word meaning=since you do want me to answer your call, than give me a name, organization, or reputable handle which I can address.

Get calls from this number all the time.  No messages left.  Have no idea who it is or why they are calling.  A real pain.  Have answered couple times no one there.

I will just add this to my list of "do not pick up" list.

No information on Caller ID only the phone number.

2nd call today. I usually get a call from them at 9:00a and 3:30p every day. I don't answer.

DID YOU FILE A COMPLAINT WITH THE DO NOT CALL WEBSITE?  

IF not - YOU and THOUSANDS OF OTHERS who never bother to file complaints are the reason the gov't, police and phone companies cannot do anything!
