We also had a UPS account. The driver was rude. The product was shipped in "pieces" more
often than not and the accounting was horrible. UPS doesn't behave professionally their accounts
payable department is something out of pre school. Our account was "re-billed" for three months
finally with the correct balance of $17.00 credit only to be "sent" to NCO for collection after ALL the
original error's reappeared on the account.
Disgraceful It may cost more BUT USE FEDX THEY NEVER MAKE THESE STUPID MISTAKES

Some woman named Lacey Brown called and rattled an account number off a mile a minute for someone named James Shea or Shane.

You may want to call them back- someone could have "accidentally" entered your # in for the billing account when shipping and they billed you for it like they did mine. I just called and someone had used my number to ship stuff, charging up over $700!! The names and addresses didn't match at ALL, but UPS went ahead and used my number anyway. They are idiots for letting people use any random account number without at least comparing information, but I don't want that crap on my credit report! DISPUTE IT!
I spoke with this "Jamie Hall" and he was actually very professional. He explained the invoice, charges and even who shipped it (originator), and stated he was glad I called back since it was clearly a mistake. He said he would have it re-billed and since none of the shipper/shipee addresses or names matched mine, it would be easy to remove.

I care about my credit report, so I called back, and it was all sorted out. YES it was inconvenient, and I STILL think it's BS they are allowed to just bill whomever for whatever without even comparing names and addresses, but he was helpful nonetheless.

the call from 800-797-5698 is not a scam but collection agency it my case for UPS Freight. Sometimes the package that is shipped to you on your regular UPS account is heavy and is shipped by freight. That situation creates an unpaid bill that you do not know about until you get the call from the agency or from the shipper.

RECIEVED THE SAME CALL AS EVERYONE ELSE. my business has no debts and shouldnt be recieving these calls.. so i call the number to see what was going on,  there was no mr. cunningham, but i was able to talk to jamie hall.  He said they didnt have any information on my company, and was sorry for the call.. seems fishy

Have received two messages so far this week, one that started halfway through the message, unintelligible, asking me to call Mr. Cunningham, but not identifying who they were calling for.  Got another message today asking to call Jamie Hall, left a number and an extension, muttered unintelligible account number, mentioned me by name, mentioned (and pronounced incorrectly) my business name.

I have no debts, and if I did, US Mail is the only legitimate way anybody would ever collect from me anyway.

SCAM!

Unidentified male called my cell line about a debt without giving any detail. Didn't leave a name or company name, seemed quite suspicious. Asked us to call Mrs. Cunningham. Did not even indicate who they had called. The message did indicate that they were a collection agency but did not even state the name of the person they were calling in the message.

Caller Id: Restricted

I called them and found out they were collecting for UPS. They asked me what my UPS number was and I told them I did not have one. So who knows what was going on there. They said the name of the company was NCO Financial Services. I think they were very unprofessional if indeed they are a legitimate collection company for UPS.

Unidentified woman called a company line about an unexplained debt, left a message to call a Mr. Cunningham but no name who they were trying to get a hold of.  This is a company line, so we field many calls to offices within our company.  Caller ID is 1 800 797-5698.

Some woman named Jamaica called about unidentified debt three times daily from 800*797*5698. Never there when returning the phone call. Have left messages numerous times to call during the evening when someone is home. When the number is googled, there are literally hundreds of 800 numbers associated with this number. No mail has been received regarding this collection agency. Don't know how to get in touch with them to get an address for a cease and desist order. This is harassment of the highest order. We demand that they stop calling
