We receive calls from these people all the time - asking for our personal information and saying we owe Wells Fargo. We called Wells Fargo to make sure our accounts were OK and they were fine. We've told them to stop and only contact us in writing but they continue. We have now placed a complaint with BBB.

Left a message on my phone.  Saying he is a debt collector and for me to call back that number.  Must be my day for scam artists!  Received one yesterday from same number.  I just hung up.  So glad this page is here to look numbers up.

This bunch of Yo-Yos has been calling off and on for several years. I've blocked them and a myriad of others for the last few weeks, but today I see that they called 3 times so far. And so it goes.

You are not alone. Telephone companies recycle phone numbers from accounts that have been terminated. In 2007, I got a number that had belonged to "a woman with 12 aliases and lots of clients", who was also on the deadbeat list of numerous collection agencies. Finally, I controlled my temper and spoke to the operator at one of those agencies, and explained that I had had the number only since August, 2007. Immediately, the number was cleared from their records; no more calls from collection agencies. However, I do occasionally still get calls from her "clients". All I do, though, is check the Caller ID, and if I see a name or number I don't recognize, I don't answer. (I keep a Rolodex list of all the real numbers from real people I know. If a number is not on the Rolodex, I don't answer the call, either.)

They keep calling me for someone elses debt. Today, for the second time, I called them back, from my home phone. They HAVE caller ID, they can SEE my number when I call them... that the number they are trying to contact is NOT assigned to the person they are looking for. I will block calls from them from now on.

I do not owe any delinquent accounts.

Continually calls and no response on other end.
I am on the do not call registry.

got call form them and I said , what you wnat they trick you  asking if you have this social and name.. i said don't call agian other wise you'll be reported to national consummers.

Been recieving calls from them for months....they never leave a message. My phone has a blocking feature so I finally blocked them.

Just checked my credit report and found that Vital Recovery Solutions checked my credit last month.  Has anyone else had this to happen to them?  I don't know why, but I certainly did not authorize it.  Does anyone have a clue?

The NATIONAL Statute of Limitations for debt collection is 4 years. Anything beyond that, it's illegal for them to try to collect. File complaints with 1) your State's Consumer Protection Office, 2) The FTC and 3) The State's Consumer Protection Office where they're located. Vital Recovery and like scum-suckers count on their victims not knowing their rights.

I constantly get calls from this number which is a non interactive recording.  I

just call them back and tell them that they have the wrong #, unless you are the person they are looking for than you should just take you lumps.

It was VRS, They have been calling my 90 year old mother about someone she doesn't know.
We'll see if they really removed her number.

They called me this morning.  Tried to tell me that the wrong number must have been a typo....  A typo wouldn't have my last name; a typo wouldn't be the 4th company and 60th such call I've gotten.

I rec'd calls from this number for a few weeks last year and then they stopped.  The calls started again last week and the message talks about an old debt that I know does not belong to me. They called again today and did not leave a message.

Called at 3:59 did not leave a message.

I keep getting computer phone calls for another person who used to live at my address, saying that it is debt collection. When I try to call the 800 number it is such a bad connection that I can barely hear it and there is never a live body answering the call. I want to reach them to get the phone calls to stop.

This phone number 800-797-6072 has called me everyday for months on my cell but no one will answer. It has left messages similar to this one "Monday-Friday 8-5 blah blah blah". Very annoying

They've called about 10 times today and never leave a message.

Everyday, every single day.  Four times minimum.  Sometimes silence, sometimes a voice on the other end, and each time claiming to be something different every single time!

3/19/08 I called the number back and complained, they said "there is no chris ward at this number? I said no there is not and they said the number would be removed from their system within 72 hours. We have been receiving calls from this number for months, I have tried unsuccessfully to call back before.

I have received several calls about a home depot account that is not mine.  I followed up with Home Depot who showed no record of me having an account ever.  I tried to explain this to the manager of vital recovery and she was rude, no help and said it was up to me to figure it out.  They have an addressthat is 50 miles away that I heave NEVER lived at.  I would like them to not call me again.

They call and say if this is not Lora, please hang up.  You would think they would get the msg that there is no Lora here but they don't.  I tried to call back and it was very noisy.  I would just like for them to stop calling here.

They have been calling me as well.  It is some debt collection service.  Whenever I try to answer, no one is there. ?????

They call daily, and when I do answer, it hangs up.

Phone rang, no one spoke when I answered.  The call was from 800-797-6072.  I have had several calls like this lately. I have a no call status on my phone for telemarketers.  Who is calling and why?  Is this a prank?

People call me 10 times a day... leaving pointless messages that cost me minutes to clear out my voice mailbox. I wonder if they'll pay me for my minutes used to clear them out of my mailbox? I am fully annoyed that they feel the need to constantly annoy me for someone who isn't clearly the person they're "looking" for.

I think I may start calling them and make some names up and see how it feels when the shoe is on the other foot.
