It was "Microsoft" calling to let me know my computer was infected...oh my!!!  That company is so smart;  anyhow, I played along and pretended to do what the scrub told me and then was told they can fix the problems and it would be $249.95 to renew the licensing and repair registry- she asked for a credit card - I said OK but I have to go get it...left her hanging on line for over 15 minutes and them proceeded to give incorrect numbers for over another 10 - 15 minutes and then told her to go f*** herself.

Just like everyone else; a call but no message.  May affect my business (we are surviving) by not answering any unidentified party (number only); but what the heck - - - if important enough for me to provide a service they would leave a message & I will call back!  Scammers just don't get it; who in right mind would answer an unknown phone call?"??"  Return the call if legitimate; that we do!!

10 minutes ago  ,, did not leave a message on my answer machine,,I will get in touch with FCC and report the number ...they need to pass better laws and put callers like these in jail ,after what i read above,,

Just got a call from these guys, saying they were from microsoft and that my PC was infected. I told them I only have apple products in my house and they hung up.

Was called by this number on my cell phone while I was talking to someone else.  The cell phone's number is on the Federal Do Not Call List and the Advertiser's Association's (I am sorry I don't remember the exact name) Do Not Call List, and here in NY it is illegal (may also be Federal Law) to make an unsolicited call to a cell phone.  Have no idea who these guys are, and when I Googled this number I got this site.  I hope the FBI catches these guys ASAP.

Had a missed call on my cell from this number. I looked the number up and got this site. I'm on the fed don't call list. Thanks for the heads up.

Just got a call from 800.800.8200!  These SCAMMERS MUST BE STOPPED!!!!!!  I feel sorry for the naive and/or elderly!!!

Just rec'd a call from this number and stated from Microsoft abs I was using Microsoft 8 (not).  Asked if I was primary user if the computer I said no my roommate was.  The caller then asked to speak to my husband I said what husband?  The caller then hung up.

Just called me I was talking to "Charlie" from microsoft who wanted me to push buttons on my computer so I hung up and he called right back and I let it go to voice mail. sounds like a scam to me.

Just received the 800-800-8200 call wanting to talk to me about my computer and said was from Microsoft. I could hear "boiler room" activity in the background. I told him my computer was fine and hung up.

I just received a call from them; they asked if I would run msinfo32 and read off which drivers were stopped.
Of course most of them were stopped if they weren't in use so I pretended to be in a state of alarm and they said I could have them all fixed (renew their expired license) for 169.99 dollars and asked for a credit card or a debit cart.  I said I didn't have either because I "got into some trouble with them" and they said I could send a personal check to SB3 Incorporated in Fleetwood New Jersey......which is interesting because there is a same name company in Ridgewood, New Jersey..  The scamsters are getting desperate.

Just received call from them wanting access to my computer saying it was infected and they needed to fix it. I have received calls from them the last two weeks. I keep telling them to stop calling and I just hang up. This time I told them to have an American call me that could speak better english and I hung up.

800-800-8200 called and said they were from microsoft and wanted me to open up my computer. I don't think so.

I got a call from this number saying they were from Micro soft and that my computer was sending out "malware"

So ........ I called the displayed phone number. Female voice - "Hey, welcome to America's favorite talk line". How about THAT ?!??!?!?!?!?!??!!

Just received a call from them. Danced along with for a while and when they asked me to enter an 6 digit code and "download" something, I ended the call.

I have received 2 calls from this number late in the evening.  I answer the phone and they hang up..Has anyone else received calls from this number beside Martha.

I received a call from this # purporting to be from Microsoft.  
This is a scam. Microsoft does not call customers.
