Well Mike...What say you now? To date API has gone under, Louise Setaro the owner of the company has since passed away,  However the company folded long before her demise. API was a scam company, when approached in 1999 to become a legitimate company and help register clients with the DOD on the CCR website, she and her greedy son turned it down, as it meant losing $25. per client to get them legally registered to do business with the government. How do I know this....Well general Johnnie Wilson and I went to her office with the proposal. But what goes around comes around and her business no longer stands.

Got a call from this number June 4, man asked for owner by name and I said he was out. Man asked me questions about our business (a glass company) and asked if we'd be interested in doing jobs for the federal government. I said only if they pay in full in advance, I don't think I'd take a check from them.

WOW, got a call a few weeks ago from API, I listened to the "pitch" I asked the girl to call me back at the end of July, still no call so I decided to do some research. GLAD I DID!!! 1st of all they are NOT accredited with the BBB. THey might have been at one time but not any longer. AND THEN...come to see that they have an F rating (the lowest) with BBB. I WILL BE KEEPING MY MONEY, and if they do decide to call me, I WILL give them this info. WHAT a SHOCK!! KEEP YOUR MONEY PEOPLE!!!

Yep Allyson still works there and as a previous employee, I can tell you that this is one of THE BIGGEST SCAMS AROUND...........You will NEVER make ANY money from an ad you place with this company. They do produce the ad and publish it in the online directory that NOBODY uses. DO NOT waste your money with them. I left because of all the office politics and flat out BS. I signed up for their BS directory. It is NOT a government website and you will NOT get any work from this at all. I have contacted several people in the directory by using the user name and password issued to me. Go in and see for yourselves. WWW.SETASIDE.COM USER NAME: capitol PASSWORD: hill. Call as many businesses as you want and you will see that not one of them has gotten any work at all. I wish I had this information before blowing $800 on their scam. STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY!!!

Anybody can register a domain name but not everybody can stay a member in good standing of both the Chamber of Commerce and BBB. If you took the time to go to the website you would have known this. Before you cast aspersions, check your facts.

I work for WEB.COM and this company (ALPHA)is ripping people off left and right. A cleaning service company in Atlanta was ripped off for $ 999.00 involving the promotion of a website for their business and the site cannot even be found in the search engines and was a complete rip off.

How amusing, I got a call from Denise from API extension 227 at my work (an auto body shop) stating that she wanted to know if our owner was interested in working on government vehicles. When I told her sure, but they would have to talk to the owner in person, she stated that it didn't work that way and for us to call back if interested... Can anyone say scam?

I received a call from Allison on 12/03/09 asking to speak with owner of the company.  He wasn't available so I asked to take a message.  The call was for doing service work in our area.  Knowing the owner was not interested I told her so.  She was very rude saying "not interested in getting paid."  I told her we were very busy.  Her reply was "yeah, it sounds real busy there is dead silence in the backgound, have a nice day bi***!!
