The phone rings, this number comes up, I answer, and the caller has hung up by this time.

Just was called by this number at work.  Tried to call back, goes to a "call can not be completed as dialed" message.

They keep calling my office and when the voicemail picks up it leaves a couple of seconds dead air and hangs up.

got a call at home, 3:30pm, from this number.

Someone (Kim) from the "Bright Pages" called from this 800-808-7627 number, said our company owed $600-something for our company name to appear on the website (at about $77 per month).

As I was checking out the number on this website, I heard some guy in the background calling someone else, saying the Exact same thing that Kim said to me, with the exact same dollar amount.

When I asked to call them back, Kim said "Sure" and that I should call 866-599-7201.  I asked her name, (just "Kim, but any agent can help you").

I've heard some strange things about this phone number, but nothing about the 866 number.  Can anyone help me out?  Does our company really owe this money?

I received a call from this #8008087627 too, when I pict up no one answer on the other hand, try to call back "heard message saying cannot be completed as dialled.

i have just recently-within this past week been receiving calls from this number at all times of the day-sometimes several times per day. I had no idea this many people were being harassed like this.  The *69 reveals a non-working number-and when i answer-it sounds like someone is listening, but they hang up on me as soon as i say 'hello.' wtf!

3 nights in a row, when answering no one picks up.

Son of a Bi*** calls me everyday more than 10 times in 3 hours... He/she just calls and hangs up immedietly.  Ive called Timewarner multiple times and the continue to tell me that they put the number on the block list but that didnt seem to work.  The calls wake my family and I at odd hours of the night, and harrass us by day.. Someone PLEASE get rid of that guy (execute for all i care -.-)

Got 2 calls within 30 minutes on my cell. Didn't bother to answer, and don't intend to after reading the above. My numbers are blocked, so not sure how they got my number.

This is the second time this call came in and I found out that this is called Black Star: A document retrieval system to help your business run more smoothly

i got a call from this # 18008087627 at 8:52pm the man when i answered the phone tells me that he is giving me a chance to win some money just by listening to the radio and all they needed was my 1st and last name. i told him that i was not interested and hung up on him. sounds like a scam to me. don't just fooled people!

They've called me twice a day for over two weeks. I stopped answering the calls because it doesn't matter if I do, they don't say anything. I called my cell phone provider (Sprint) to complain, but they said they have no way to block just one phone number. Here are the last few times and dates:

These guys are shady dealers and scammers and if you get a call from them file a 1088 Complaint with the FCC at https://esupport.fcc.gov/form1088/consumer.do and if you are on the National Do Not Call List, file a Complaint at https://www.donotcall.gov/default.aspx.

If the government gets enough complaints from you, we can put these guys out of business.

Received a call from this number last night around 7pm ET.  He said he was from WQDR and that I had won something or other.  Wanted me to verify my first and last name with spelling.  I told him to take me off their list and he hung up.  Sounds like they are phishing for information

I get a call from this number daily on my work line. There is no one there and the call "cannot be completed as dialed" when I try calling back. Very annoying.

Received call from this number at work, usually call 2-3 times a day and hang up.  This time guy told me that he wanted to verify the spelling of my first and last name to register me to win money by listening to the radio.  Verified, my name is pretty common.  Then he asked what station I regularly listen to and if there was anyone else in the office who listens to the radio.  Then he hung up on me.  Filed complaint with donotcall.gov

Just received a call from this number.  It took a second for the guy to say "hi" when I answered.  He spoke like the micro machine guy (real fast) stated he wanted my name and date of birth to enter me into a radio contest for money.  Sounded fishy, hung up on him.  Hope I didn't ruin my chances at millions!!

800-808-7627 They don't answer and I automatically hang up and put their number on DoNotCall.gov complaint form. Hopefully enough other people will report this often enough and homeland security will put a bunker buster bomb up their homeland as all they are is homegrown terrorists.

Same thing. Answered second ring on my work cell and there was no one there. Called them back and got a recording.

Ok so, I just received 2 calls from this number @ work and they hang up as soon a I picked  up. I went to Google.com and put in the number to see if any info came up and got this site. I can't beleive what I'm reading! This has been happening to others!?! If anyone has any information on what to do, please post it. Thank you. Happy Holidays to you ALL!

I just did the same thing - called the number back and got "we're sorry, your number cannot be completed as dialed"........hmmmmmmmmm

1-800-808-7627  When you redial this number it is a "Non-working" number, yet when I picked up the phone they hung up.  The 800 # folks need to be responsible for this kind of thing and permit the receiver of these "anonmous calls" to returnt he "favor".

Same as everyone else. Calls are strange. Who has time to do this?

Tonite 6 calls from this number. Yesterday 3.

On the sixth call tonite, I answered with silence.

A woman said hello and I did not respond.

Too angry now to talk to whoever it is.
