In response to your comment above, I too have received calls from this number asking for me to sit through their presentation on vacation sites, etc. They claim I will be rewarded with two round trip tickets to anywhere in the 48 lower United States if I attend a 3 hour seminar. The caller was quite rude actually, as I voiced my disinterest. I wonder if it's a scam? His last words to me, after I told him of his lack of manners was, "I'm here to make money, not to be polite," upon which time I pleasantly said, "well, you may hang up the phone", and proceeded to do the same. I haven't received another call yet, but will update this site accordingly.

We have received several phone calls from this number over the past several days, asking for a family member that does not live here. The calls continue to be repeated, even though we say that that person does not live here.
Diane VG 2011-06-06 20:58:27 Unknown
Nothing I can do about that. It is what it is.
Diane VG 2011-06-06 20:58:27 Unknown
I also called that 800# and they told me that someone is also using their company to associate their scams through. We have filed complaints with DNC registry and government sites. It appears that if you live outside the United States, no rules barred and anything goes. There is literally nothing anyone can do about.
D.K. Marketing only uses one 800# 800-696-5390 and will only call someone if they have filled out a form on our website reservations4u.com. Our company DOES NOT cold call at all.
Justin Goldman 2011-06-06 20:58:27 Unknown
I worked for Sunshine for a few weeks last year. I never called or sold anybody. I simply helped up by building a cheap website-now I'm involved? I just took a job that didn't work out in DC is all?

This is a message to all who are associating the 800-810-4133 to DK Marketing. I own DKM and I would like everyone to know that that 800# is not ours. Another company is using our 800-696-5390 and turning it into the first 800# to hide behind bad business practices. I have contacted certain agencies to complain. We are also having 'someone or ones' using our own email address to send to not only solicitation to our company but to others. I really do not know what to do but I am working on it. Just for facts: we never, ever call anyone that does not fill out an online form and even after, we make three attempts to contact them and just file it after a final message. We NEVER call collect. We are no longer doing any business with Millenium travel associated with Sunshine promotions. We are now using another travel company for promotions with Sunshine. Millenium travel has an F rating and I was not aware of that as not one person called to complain. It was brought to my attention after one guest made an appoitment and then researched that company. Also, DK Marketing and Promotions was dissolved as a corporation due to the economy and are still working under DKM dba Diane Van Gyzen. I do not have any record of a Matthew Carter as a guest from our marketing company. But please remember that all travel club and timeshare resort have dozens of vendors (telemarketers) so finding our website in association with Sunshine promotions does not mean that we are the company that mislead anyone. I apologize for any misunderstanding but I truely do my best to give all the information about our promotions, unfortunatly, we are put in the same pool with most that do not and are outright deceptive. Our only business numbers are 800-696-5390 and 941-255-1297. Matthew, Justin Goldman manages another telemarketing company...not mine.

Keep leaving me voicemails that they are holding a package for me!
ricky 2011-06-06 20:58:27 Unknown
They called me last night... "Collect"!!!!! LOL I didn't accept the call but anyone that falls for this scam simply deserves to lose any money they lost. If someone calls you out of the clear blue tell you that you won a free vacation or whatever it is, yet you didnt enter any contest, why would you give them your bank account info? What contest requires your bank account info? Can you think of one? If the calls are coming outside of the US, the "Do Not Call" list is useless. With Vonage, Skype and Magic Jack anyone can now get a US telephone number and send the info overseas to use in these kinds of scams... Be wise people.. Just say "I'm not interested, do not call my number again, remove me from your list and hang up the phone. Get your phone company to put the number that called you on a blocked caller list(it may cost you).
Nicole 2011-06-06 20:58:27 Unknown
Who is this and why do they keep calling my phone? It has been happening repeatedly for a couple of weeks now
Scott 2011-06-06 20:58:27 Unknown
Man too late. I called them back and gave them my bank info. The promised me all I had to pay was a "state tax" to gain access to my new Nigerian bank account. My account was drained over night and I've been on the phone all day with these bank reps from the phillipines and they are not helpful at all. All they say is to go get a police report and fax a report in! The cops dont care about some nigerian dude and how am I suppose to pay my mortgage now? My Go what have I done? I wish I read your note earlier Norbert.
Norbert 2011-06-06 20:58:27 Unknown
Scott-
Do not call them! This is a variation of a fax & email scam. Any info you give them will be used to steal your identity or worse.
Scott 2011-06-06 20:58:27 Unknown
I keep getting calls from this number, and finally decided to answer it today. The person said he was "Dr.Mumbutto from Nigeria" and that I was the recipient of a frozen bank account at the Nigerian National Bank with the sum of $2.5 Million and all I had to do was pay a small fee to clear a state tax! I asked him to fax me a letter stating this and he said he would. And all I should do is open a new account with Citi Bank so the money can be wired in ...
Should I go for it ?
One of the caller's 2011-06-06 20:58:27 Unknown
Wow look at how dumb all of you are. Look the only way you will get a call from this # is if you have called it. If you don't want call's from this 3 tell them not to call you anymore! You can't just say I'm not interested you need to say do not call!!!!!!!!!!!!
Seattle 2011-06-06 20:58:27 Unknown
I have received at least 4 calls a day for almost two weeks from these people. Can someone here report this to the Do Not Call website. We are on the list however it will not be effective until Dec. 3rd.
thank you

I have the same issue like Julie above. This person is so annoying that I have received at least 5 calls a day asking me to join a vacation package that his company offers. Although I was uninterested in the offer, this person keeps calling.
Jeff 2011-06-06 20:58:27 Unknown
I am receiving calls from the same number and when i answer it, it goes to a dial tone and noone speaks or says anything. Is this one of those scams where you answer and they take your number and make long distant calls?
unk 2011-06-06 20:58:27 Unknown
I am receiving calls from the same please it is a place wanting you to buy a vacation timeshare and when to go to use your free gift the time is never available, don't fall for it.
Kennedy 2011-02-24 23:18:23 Unknown
Ashley you must be really young and innocent I have asked this company over 20 times to stop calling me and they refuse to. I have complianed to the FTC who oversees the so called "do not call list" which I have been on both the local for tx and the national for many years. They dont care. These idiots who say get over it like the first person need to go back and finish school. I have tried to call their corp number and it appears not to work So if anyone has a good contact number for Sunshine please send it to me. Thanks

I have gotten calls 0-3 times per day from this number from about 2/2010 through today (6/11/2010). In the past few weeks, they've called about twice a day.
Often, the caller leaves voicemail telling me that they're holding a package for me or that they're holding a vacation package for me.
On 2/26/2010, I called them and recorded the call (with their permission).
They said that I could come to a sales presentation on 31st St. NW in DC by Sunshine Promotions and would receive round trip airfare for two to anywhere in the US. They said that I'd need to come with my wife and I'd need to pay the taxes, I'd have a year to complete the travel, and I'd need to stay away from holidays. I asked for the full terms and conditions. She said that I'd need to contact Sunshine Promotions for that. I asked for Sunshine Promotions' phone number. She said she didn't have it but told me I could look it up. She said I could call her back after talking to Sunshine Promotions.
Looked up Sunshine Promotions online and found this:
http://www.reservations4u.com/WASHINGTONDC.html
http://www.reservations4u.com/ says that the promotion is brought to me by:

All the credible online reviews I've found for this business indicate that it is a scam. After attending a high-pressure sales pitch, you'll be given a worthless travel certificate with conditions that are impossible to fulfill or which the underwriter will refuse to honor. Worse, if you buy into the travel club that they're trying to sell you, you will have wasted thousands of dollars and gotten nothing to show for it.
I can be contacted at r_q_einstein-800notesfunshine@yahoo.com (but change "funshine" to "sunshine"-- I do this to reduce spam).

Just FYI- The FCC will tell you to wait 30 days after you have placed your name and number on the national "do not call" registry.

I also had three missed calls from this same #. I tried to call it back, but it did not go through. If they call again I am going to ask them to be removed from the list. I mean, 3 times in one day within 4 hours is ridiculous!
rickyph 2009-08-25 00:28:11 Unknown
Same call. I just cuss them out and tell them where to go. The last time I sat the phone on my pizza box and told the girl to talk to my pizza.

nobody say anything. How can I stop these calls?
