Looks like these guys had changed their entity and phone number. I got a call from (877) 353-1333 claiming on behalf of FapTurbo (which I did subscribed for automated Forex trading). Similar to most posters' stories, the guy was extreme friendly and probed me questions like what's my goal. He tried to schedule me for an interview right away with a "director" in which I refused before I had to go. I checked BBB with the number and it's registered under "Unity Marketing" located in Utah.

hi everyone, I read your story and I am speechless. I purchased somehome based job opportunity and that turned out to be a bit wierd and i was thinking about disputing my charges. I left at that. I got a call next day or two out of nowhere from some guy name josh saying something  linking my purchased i did online to them , but all i know that i was very vulnerable and desperate and willing to take any risk and it got late even midnite . i believe jim or josh is the guy that told me about the opportunity to build my own web business and having a mentor for 20 weeks and of course they asked about what I dream about that I could have if i had the money and  they also asked about my credit cards and balance and credit limit.. unfortunetely, i found out i had one with a large credit . Make story short, this jim or josh guy said he would speak to the director whse name is" mr waddleford" and tell him my story to see if i qualify to start the buss. he also said that there were 3 types of investment conservative, moderated and agressive. I realized he used the number according to my credit available on my card. l got fooled that evening it turns out he put the director on the phone and he said to write some notes down  and that was the end of me.  I foolishly gave them my credit card number and authorize  to pay $12, 250. 00 dollard that I won't get back. I foolishly wanted so bad to believe in this nonsense that my I made some serious bad decisions and I'm still fighting but , i would have to get a dam good lawyer and fight to get my money back. I cannot imagine paying a debt of that amount and have nothing to hold in return. I'm sorry I've been very naive, stupid, crazy to have allowed this to happen to me.. My suggestion to everyone earn your living the old fashion way and that is Earn your degree and work.. I'm asking God to help me make a miracle  to get my money back. That is a very large amount of money. I have learned and still learning a big, huge lesson in my life. thank you hope this help someone out there. .

Ok, I get a call today from MT4News saying I could be the chosen one.  And guess who the person is that is suppose to call me tomorrow???  None other than David Scott.  The website I was given is MT4News.com.  I was really hoping this was real.dang it.  I went through the interview process, getting a 'profile' so they would know what kind of trader I was and what I needed to work on.  Now I am really disappointed!

I received a call from Patrica today.........Oh I was the chosen one, I could be used in their success stories and what are my goals and do I have money set aside or a credit card w/ zero balance for rainy day that wouldn't short food on my family table, ect...blah blah blah blah blah.  She wanted to hold me hostage on the phone while I entered into their website "Platnum Training.com.  When I initially returned Patricia's call, they answered "Evay Business Group".  Anyway, I got on my laptop,  before I could get into that particular site by Googling it, I saw the word "scam" pop up all over in the search engine.  I told her I had to finish my yard work and and couldn't watch their 30 min. video, "5 Keys to Success" on:  www.Platnumwebtraining.com.  She told me to do my homework tonight and she would call me back tomorrow and I could have the priviledge of talking to Mr. Scott to see if I would be selected to give all my credit card information away and get scammed out of my kids college money.......NO THANKS.
BTW:  I wanna' know how long Arianna (post: Sept.8, 2010) and Maggie (post: March 26, 2011) have been working for whatever the name of this company is supposed to be!!!!!!!!  I think I will pass

I would like to count my recent experience with Mr David Scott of Salt Lake City, Utah, USA. I had bought the Forex robot " FAP Turbo " just before the New Year, around Dec. 27 2010.

Around the 7th of Jan. 2011, I get a phone call from a person by the name of Taylor ( Tel 801-293-3465 ext. 214 ). He asks me how about FAP Turbo, is it making money, etc. Leads me to believe that it is a follow up courtesy call from the makers of FAP Turbo to see how everything doing, am I happy with the product, etc. He then starts talking about my goals in life, where I want to be financially in 3 yrs. time, etc. He gets me to write down my goals, he sounds really sincere. He then explains that he is looking for a few select students to become part of a Forex mentoring team. Long story short, after more than an hour on the phone with Taylor, I get approved for the next level of qualification & will speak to Mr. David Scott the next day.

Mr David Scott bells me the next day. He starts with how they are looking for a few select serious students who want to learn to trade the Forex market from a pro. Pro´s who have been doing this for a living for many years & who want to help people become financially independent trading the Forex market. He then explains that you will be putting all the cost of opening a trading account & paying for tuition on a Credit Card. That was when the alarm bells started to sound in my head. The 1st sacred golden rule of any trading plan, is that you only use risk money, money that you can afford to lose; not rent money, not mortgage money, not your food money, etc., you get my meaning. He then explains that the banks, lending institutions, brokerage houses, etc. use OPM ( Others Peoples Money ). I answered back to this that this is the main reason for the current worlds financial mess. Mr Scott answers back saying if they can do it, so should the little guy ( me & you ). The subject changed & I ask Mr. Scott what broker would they recommend & how important  the broker is on a Forex trading account. The wisdom of this idiot is that he tells me I can use any broker I choose & a broker is not that important when your trading. The 2nd sacred golden rule when your trading is that choosing a good broker. A broker will eventually make or break you. Alarm bell num. 2 sounds in my head. He then puts me on hold saying that he will get my account approved by his financial dept. I had yet to agree to sign up for anything at this point. My hand held tel. then goes dead because of low batteries. I haven't heard back from Mr David Scott yet but it is just a matter of time before he calls me. I will have to tell the smooth talker that thanks but no thanks on his offer.

In retro spec, Taylor´s sales pitch was too robotic. It was obvious that he was reading from a well written script. He knew how to give a compliment at the right time & urge you on.

In reference to Mr Scott David, it was the same. A real smooth talker. But at times when I argued a point with the guy concerning trading, he got really huffy & tried to brow beat me into thinking I was mistaken. He had so many years as a trader & he knew what he was talking about. When he calls back, I will say no thanks to his wonderful offer & scam.

I did a Google search " David Scott scam/fraud" ( among other key words ) & came upon this site. It seems that Mr Davis Scott is well known for this type of scam. This is the web page that the fraud Mr David Scott gave me to look into their company. http://globalforexeducators.com/. I did some research on the web page & it is new from 2010, not years old as Mr David Scott told me. My advice is to stay well clear of the scam that Mr David Scott is promoting. They have complaints logged with the Utah BBB.

They called and would not stop. The company is Choose Focus Now. I googled the number when they were on the phone and found this site- I love being informed while jerking with these guys.

I asked for their name and he told me Choose Focus. I said, are you also Platinum Trading? And he said no, never heard of them. All very confusing. I think they are in New Jersey

the same scam has happened to me recently, about 10 mins back! first i download the fapturbo program off the net, pay $150 and give my details there. a few days later, some guy called taylor rings me, gets my personal details off me and tells me that they are looking for success stories and that i may get chosen.

i get chosen, some dude called david scott rings me and tries to sell this b***s*** about getting me a personal trainer etc. i advise him that i have 2 masters degrees in finance from ivy league schools and also tell him that he sounds like taylor!

i ask him how much this training would cost at which point he goes on the offensive and says i am cheap and looking for a quick buck! thats when i lose the plot and ask him to first, stop putting on a voice and a southern accent and calling himself david scott!

then i tell him, i will report him to the SEC and the FBI at which point he says go ahead and report me to anyone you like and goes further to say that it was i who asked him to call, at which point i tell him it was taylor who rang me and told me i would be selected and all the other BS

he also offered me the other peoples money and credit card offers of making money!

the number he called from is

+11 801 2933465 ext 214 and

+1 877 8242346

this i assume and presume is a well crafted scam!

hey, I just got the same calls... hours and two days of phone calls from Mr Mont... and associates! Well, after he insisting I trust them with my credit card details with no formal papers or signing of agreements or secure payment method... I asked him for an email to confirm what he is telling me and his company, he said his company is Trading Edge Forex and sent me to their website. As they expalained to me in the beginning they were working with Fapturbo looking for a success story in australia offering mentoring etc etc asking for $2000USD! Thankfully, I came across these posts with a google search and the complaints listed and the company is not what he says it is. He's calling me back in 45min for my bank details... I will kindly turn it down!

I also got a call from this company today and was told their experienced trading coach David Scott will call back telco over the course details. But I just checked the Better Business Bureau report at http://www.bbb.org/utah/business-reviews/trai ... ray-ut-22215098. The number of complaints and the lawsuit doesn't inspire much confidence. Think I'll pass!

Just to give an update.  I just called this number and the lady gave a business name of Platinum Training Solutions.  More to follow.  I did not leave a message or talk to anyone.  When these people called yesterday, they gave the name of their business as Choose Focus Now.  One might be a subsidiary company of the other one.  Nevertheless, interested in knowing if anyone has really met their financial goals in the amount of time you wished after paying for their services.  Lots of money to put on the line if it is not going to come back to me as soon as they say.  I don't care if there are 1 on 1 trainers.  They are not worth that kind of money if they don't help you make an income.  Just wondering if anyone knows anybody who has made money with their business due to having used this company.

I received a call from this number just yesterday.  Ryan talked for quite awhile, and then had Jim call me.  The name of the company is ChooseFocusNow.com.  I am still evaluating, but I wanted people to know that the former blogs here are not, or do not seem to be the same company that I spoke with yesterday or the day before.

They do provide 1 on 1 training for people looking to get internet business going.  Seems like a lot of money, but 1 on 1 training is not cheap when you are talking business building.

Prank Call
I downloaded MT4 and purchase forex Maximizer etc. .. I received a call from a guy by the name of David Scott tel 1 801 393 3465 email da-ja-se@hotmail.com. For about an hour he explained to me that the offer professional training 1 on 1 with a trading professional. He made it clear that this training is available to a very select group of people. He asked a lot of personal questions for evaluation purposes to determine if I fit the profile etc..! He said that he would make a recomendation to the owner of the company Mr Camron Montgomery or something ad if I was selected he Mr M would call me back ,.
30 min later I received a call from mr M and he explained that they do training , prof coaches , proven system that is not available to the public etc.. There are 3 levels of training 12 , 18 . 26 weeks 8-10 hours per week at a cost of $5k ; $10k ; $20k.
After a lengthy discussion Mr M said all we need to do next is to finalise  the paperwork. He started with full name ..... an then wanted credit card details? I told him I do not have it with me and that he should call back . 30 min later he did call . I said I am not comfortable in giving my cc detail to a him the phone.
I insisted that he send me some paperwork to look at as they want my commitment for anything from 12 - 26 weeks and because according to them this is only available to a select few. I want to know what I am getting in to, and they want me to pay 5-20k to someone trying to sell me a training course on the phone. He did mail a Non-Disclosure doc.
Mr M was very upset and it seems that all they want is your money

I think these guys get info from MT or , when you buy something off the net like forex EA or subscribe to signal alert service.
They are professional scammers and well trained telemarketers . They lead you in conversation all the time and make you think that you are so special and how lucky you are that they chose you.

BIG SCAM !  STAY AWAY . ALL THEY WANT IS YOUR MONEY.

Just got off the phone with these guys. I as well am using Fabturbo (For me it's actually working great so far on my 3 demo accounts after 2 months, and a few more weeks of playing with the settings I'm taking it live.)

They are an independent company that works with the developers of MetaTrader. Which I think means they got our phone numbers when we downloaded the MetaTrader program. The person I talked to explained they are a marketing company that makes the "Success" stories that are listed on different websites. (IvyBot, FabTurbo, FOREX Killer.) From what it was explained they are the ones that sell the program and then report to the FCC for compliance on claims, then make money from the developers for the story and the FCC compliance.

They are offering me one on one coaching on Forex markets. The prices vary but it appears to be based not on the information packages, but the time they're involved. The longer it takes you to get through the info, the more money you pay. The course with mentor ship can be as little as 8 weeks or as longer. He claims the mentors are people who have been doing this as long as 5 to 20 years for institutions. He did talk about using "Other People's Money" Which means putting it on a credit card. This as well struck me as dangerous if not flat out insane, But at the amount they are asking for and the suggested starting account amount of 1,000 dollars, it was something I could afford the monthly payment on, and they did make me promise at the end of the call, the first thing I would be doing in the program is paying the card off before taking out money for myself. They also stated I would be trading in a paper account first so it doesn't appear these guys are pushing for the "You can make money today" garbage. They did say it would take awhile, which everything does.

They offered one on one coaching where these mentors have between 4 to 8 students. They said they have information and use personal evaluation of Forex markets and use of trading software. They also offer access to their trading room where they conduct live trades that you can do in real time.

For me, I'm looking for more training and a mentor. This does sound like what I'm looking for. The problem is, I'm wondering if this is the same outfit that did the marketing for the John Stefanchik program of buying personally held mortgages. I'm not sure this is the same company but the one in the Stefanchik fiasco offered personal coaching but the coaches were not nearly as experienced as they advertised. That company settled out of court and Stefanchik is in the process of getting his house on Mercer island taken by the FEDs.

AGAIN! I'M NOT SURE THIS IS THE SAME COMPANY. but I will be doing more research before dropping 9k on a endeavor.
