Got a call that sounded recorded. It told me I won a new care, a Lincoln Navigator. From what I see from around the net it is a scam.

Just got a call (a recording) from 800 253-5524 Cathy Sumner from Change your life sweepstakes saying I had won a Lincoln Navigator and to call the number back and ask for her. I actually did call back and got a person saying that "Cathy" was on another call and wanted to take my name & #. I refused and asked what co. I called, she said that she was just a call answering company and didn't know. I hung up....Be Aware.

Watch out, these losers are calling from 1-312-428-4927 now too. Such BS...they claimed I entered a contest which I never do because I know it's their sneaky little way of getting around the do not call law. It threw her when I insisted I don't enter contests and then she said it was because I made a major credit card purchase. What a crock of crap. Then I called her out on the scam which threw her as I'm guessing most people don't know exactly what it is and how it works.

My call came from 231-577-4638 and said to call this 800 number. The message on my answering machine about winning a Lincoln Navigator - too bad it's a scam, we could have used a new car!  I guess I won't bother calling back.  Thanks for everyone that posted so I didn't waste my time!

Received a call tonight from the 800=811-1247 Message left on answering machine.  Lincoln Nav.

Same thing just happened to us too with a Lincoln Navigator

Was told I had won Lincoln navigator, vacation, $2500 cash, or 32"flat screen.  Decided to check into this and came upon your site.  Said I needed to go to a 90min. presentation for grand opening of a travel company and that I would definately be winning one of these prizes.  Too good to be true!!

I got the same call Friday afternoon.  Caller ID showed 708-441-8058. The message that was left said that Ed, from the claims processing division of the "Change Your Life Sweepstakes" was calling to let me know I won a Lincoln Navigator, a vacation, $2500, or a 32-inch color TV and to call back at this 800 number.  I decided to check it out and, so far, I found at least 5 entries of this number being used for fraud.  So, I'm not going to call.  Thanks to all who have reported in the past.

A guy (Chet called me and told me I won a Lincoln navigator and to call this number back. It was a recording. I googled the number that showed up on my caller id and it has been going on for a year or so. It is a scam so watch out!
