This number calls us almost EVERY SINGLE DAY!!!!  They are about to be reported to the FCC for harassment.

I am getting multiple calls a day at all hours from this number. I don't answer because it is on my cellphone and I don't answer unknown numbers. The caller does not leave a message.

The "Do not call" list is about as efficient as a set of wooden teeth.

They called at 8:46a.m and ask for Phil, there is no Phil living at the number and way are they calling so early in the morning. I ask them to stop calling and the women hung up on me

I keep getting calls from this phone number 1-800-814-6580 for more than five months now. Who ever called today, April 21, 2014, Monday after Easter around 1: 25 p.m.,( and as soon as picked up the receiver), they hung up. On April 9th, I got a call around 10:10 a.m. I kept saying "HELLO" and finally she asked was I, Robert Campbell, and I asked this question: Who are you? and they just kept asking the same question. Finally, I told the young lady to "DO NOT CALL"  MY NUMBER  318-352-#### NO M-O-R-E.  TAKE IT OFF YOUR CALLING LIST, TODAY.  I hung up after. The many times 1-800-814-6880 called my landline phone last year 2013 from June through October 2013, and the caller would not leave at least a massage with their phone number and their name for a call back, asap. Well, I flied a formal complaint about this annoyance calling behavior in November, 2013 twice to the Federal Trade Commission (FTC), Annoyance Call Center on the advise of customer service from local AT & T.  I think it is a Telemarketer group calling though and not a debt collector. Collector sometimes do have bad behavior, too.

This number calls my fax machine daily.  Obviously, no fax ever comes through as the call is not originating from a fax machine.

A few years ago, I got a nice new phone number, and it included a previous owner who apparently got scammed in the "housing bubble" scams. I've had to piece this together over the years. I don't remember how many agencies this has been passed off to, but I get them to stop calling after convincing them that I'm not the person they're looking for. I'm not late on bills and owe no debts. Eventually another company takes over the case and I have to start all over again with the explanation. Recently, 1-800-814-6580 started calling. I didn't know who it was until you nice people tracked the perps down. It seems that the game is still afoot. I've been on the do not call list from the start. It's meaningless, because there are no laws anymore, it seems. Only thing to do when dealing with insane money grubbers is not answer the phone. If I ever get the energy to call our AG over this, I'll try to do more, but I've bothered them to help on other scams in the last few years. I'll just not answer the phone for now. If you're in the same boat as me, you might want to experiment with a "do not answer list".

I got sick of their constant calls, so I called them and they said that their company name was the NRA looking for some guy named "Juan." The lady hung up and then tried to tell me that my phone # was not in the system.

This number appears on mine and my wifes phone regularly. We never had any debt from any of the companies mentioned in this stream of commends

I have also received calls from this number. I was basically put on hold until "someone was available to take my call". That in itself seems shady.  Then they asked who I was... well you should know who I am if you are calling me! So I asked if they could look me up by my number.  They said yes, but wanted to verify they had the correct name, and I said I refused to give my name until they said who the account was for.  The name they gave and information they had was definitely NOT mine, so I told them not to call me back again.

How are we idiots? Do you work for these do***ebags? I don't owe a freaking dime to any collection agencies. Just because my number came up in their system doesn't mean that I owe a cent to these weasels.

I recommend everyone that receives a call from these thugs to record the conversations for future litigation. Especially if the company continues harassing the people on their lists. I have a youtube page where I post these conversations. I send them to my states Attorney General. If the calls continue I will hire a lawyer to take down these "idiots" for harassing me.

Sounds like you need to get another job "Let me tell you something". Helping the economy? Oh please, what kind of BS is swirling in your head. We aren't living in the "Great Depression" era you moron. And if the statute of limitations has passed and they are calling the wrong person then that in itself is a form of harassment. You can scream this from the back of your pick-up truck all day. In the end you are wrong. And you are an IDIOT for defending these companies.

Just tell them you are recording the call to put on the Internet and they will stop harassing you. That's what I did. haha

I am on the Do Not Call List and they still call.  Very nasty attitude when you ask who they are and what they want.  I hung up.

Not all the people they're calling owe anyone anything.  I pay MY bills, no one else's ordinarily.

They called looking to talk to someone I know, am not on good terms with and have not had contact with for several years.  The refused to identify the company name, purpose for the call but wanted to talk to this person.  We had juts received a call from a Clarksburg, WV number of a similar nature, that number was 304-931-4365.  They instructed that to talk to an agent, press a digit and after my g/f was on hold for over 15 min, the call was disconnected.   They too would not identify who they were or what their purpose was either.  Google says it is a collection agency.

Got a call from this number last night with no voice mail left. Called them back at 10am today and got "all agents are currently busy". Waited for a second and got connected with a "hello". Told them that i had received a call last night from this number and was calling to inquire about the nature of the call. Was told they are looking for someone and told them that they have the wrong number. She said that I would be removed from call list. wasnt over rude or anything but from what ive been reading here and at other sites ill be expecting another call from them. Also they didnt tell me who they are or what company they are working for.

(800) 814-6580 called I didn't answer....I actually had to contact a company to report Columbia house and fight it on my credit report because it was fraudulent. Be aware.

These folks are debt collectors.  However, they never leave a message.  I do not pay debt collectors because it does not wipe the debt from my credit file.  What is ironic is that I received two different "offers" to pay off my debt from two completely different debt agencies and all for the SAME debt.  So two companies bought my original $250 debt.  Yet if I pay it I am paying the debt collector and my credit report still shows that I owe ABC $250 and it was written off.  I will wait the 7 yrs for it to fall of my credit file.
