This is what I am dealing with now.  I got a loan from Cash Net USA. I paid this Stanley, Lawhorn, Lebowski the full amount of the loan I received from Cash Net.  The were still trying to take money out of my checking account. I had to call my bank to stop these transactions. The money I paid to Stanley, Lawhorn, Lebowski was never paid to Cash Net. Now after a year I am paying Cash Net a second time.  WHAT A SCAM!!!!

Welll back in June 2012 I got a call from someone claiming she is in-charge of delinquint accounts with cash-net usa out of Atlanta. She claimed that if the loan wasnt paid, there would be a warrent for my arrest. So on that day in June i paid an instalment amount of $50.00, She then told me that each month i would need to pay $50.00 untill the balance is paid. The next month i was in a terrible bind so i didnt pay. So since then i hadnt heard anything else, up until now. On January !3, 2013 i reloaded a Walmart debit card in the amount of $175.00, Those b*****ds took 150.00 just like that from my account without pre-authorizaton. The same card that was used then in June, they kept my info. so i have been working with Walmart on this, And they have been repoted to the better business burea, Im so PISSED. Walmart has reassurred me that they will get my money back.

I got a call on Friday stating that this law firm Stanley, Lawhorn and Lebowsky had received a complaint about misrepresentation of a check and that they had "called me" several times but this was the only phone call received, they stated on the message that it was a message for (no sound) so no name was heard and that if I didn't resolve this matter that they would turn it back over to the company who reported the no name person and also said that "Your social security number is attached to this claim" I don't have caller ID so I don't know what number they are calling from but it was an incomplete message at the end saying "You can reach our office at 855-313" that's all there was to it. The person didn't even give a fake name or any name at all for themselves. At first I was worried that something might actually be going on but at this point I'm wondering if it's a total scam based on all of the reports that I've read and on top of that when you view their BBB complaints, they have a very low rating, they are not an accredited business and when you google them there are multiple addresses for this supposed law firm. With all the people who have been frauded from this "company" I'm honestly surprised the police have not caught up with them.

Im sick of the phone calls and threats from these people and im trying to figure out to put a stop to it. But i think everyone needs to try to put a stop to it as well.

I also received a call from David, 6789994431. I did owe a pay day loan place and ended up paying back.. He called me and had all my information even my SS #, and told me that i needed to pay the collection. I was stupid enough to think it was the actual collection company i was suppose to pay so i gave him my debit card info and set up a payment for a certain day well then i thought it was weird and called the actualy place where i took the loan and they gave me the actualy collection company they had forwarded it to and i called them adn told them what was going on and they told me that it is fraudlent.. the reason he had all my info is because the "Stanley Lawhorn" use to handle their accounts for them and something went bad so they had to cancel them and the company still had peoples info but now they are calling people and doing fraud.

received a call from staley, lawhourne and labosky at my work place informing me they had an "urgent" matter to discuss with me.  They identified themselves as being a law firm.  Called me the next day even when I specfically stated for them to not call my work place

THEY DID THE Same thing to me i put some money on a Walmart card they have got about 500.00 out of me i wish i could catch up with these people this lady that call me name is ms taylor

They called me also, i did have a cash advance loan & paid it off... I received the proper paper work  & havent had any problems since... They are a law firm that handles debt collections  & i found out because of security reasons, they dont use their real names... Also, my number changed so they called a few wrong numbers before they got me... Just dont be surprised if u get a court summons... Those are REAL!!!!

got a call from 6782454408 and 4406. they called me at 940 pm with an automated message. then i got a call this morning from "mr. smith" stating he has a file and blah blah blah. he said he was with sally, lawhorn, and laboski. i looked them up, they are three different lawyers in ga and they dont know mr smith. i called and left him a vm to stop calling me. SCAM!

I think we should all start calling them about 40 times a day until we blow up their pre-paid phone cards. Seriously, I wish there was a way to catch these people and make them stop.

Recieved a call from 678-245-4408 saying that my case was being sent back to some agency for collection. Stated they called me several times and when I call back I get a recording....sounds shady to me.

mines was from 678 245 4408 last name used was def Sims and i think the first name is Kacy....I believed it but now there not returning my calls....Thank God I was about to be homeless and stupid....

Received a call from a Pam Cantrell referencing a legal action and a "case number". No real info provided, but after many lookups located who they are. They call all the time. SCAM. Wants you to call back (678) 534-5744.

a place called Staley Lawhorn and associates called and left a message formy husband,somehow they have his social.We have been a victimof identity theft.The number was 1-678-999-4417.The lady said it was urgent and that he defrauded information concerning our checking account!I have no idea what they are talking about!I have my husbands power of attorney ,he is disabled beacuse of his back and has mental problems also.I do not like them leaving threats on the machine ,that will upset him.They should be ashame of taking advantage of a disabled person!

I got the same call today!Who are  these people.They left a threatning message on our machine for my disabled husband!

WE recieved a message fromthese people saying we defraued our checking account information!The number was 1-678-999-4417.Everytime I call this number it rings several times and then I get a busy tone!They said it was urgent!Yea right!I am not giving out my checking account info to nobody!

I received a call today from Ms. Lopez who called me "a professional debter" since I questioned the intergrity of her "law firm" by asking if they were a legal law firm or a debt collection agency posing as a law firm.  I kindly let her know that I was not professional debter but that there were too many illegal attorneys asking for personal information these days.  She was claiming that I committed check deposit fraud but when I asked her to verify my information, she was unable to pull those documents.  I am not sure how you plan to prosecute me without having proof that you provided me with documentation of my debt??!!!  When I google the business name of Staley, Lawhorn and Lebowski there is not an actual attorneys office website that pulls up....only scam information from their employees.  How do we shut down companies like this?  Ms. Lopez wouldnt even give me her first name.  She can however be reached at 678-894-2772.

Rec'd the same call today 3/5/12,  from this Stanly Lawhorn & Associates, a  Mr. White. I have defaulted on a payday loan, via the internet. Same M.O. I called  Atlanta phone info w/no results.

Received call from 678-972-2772 Investigator Lopez from Stanley Lawhorn and Lebowski. Saying I committed some type of payday loan default.   A warrant would be issued if I didn't clear the debt,however I don't have any debt with Cashnet. I told her I couldn't pay anything and she said she would call me back to see what they wanted to do.

I wanted to reply because I have been having these people call at my work and cell phone stating that he is investigator Delmore and that he is with staley lawhorn and lebowski associates. He called and I spoke to him and he said that he was turning my loan over to law enforcement for check fraud and that I would be getting served. Is this something that they can do. Can I be arrested for taking out a loan and is it legal for them to harrass me at work?

I also received a call a week ago from a Joseph Grimes from Stayley Lawhorn, and Leboski about a check fraud from a pay day loan I got through CashnetUSA. I did get a loan through CashNetUSA, but my checking account was compromised so I had to shut it down. Of course, I am not going to disclose any personal information about me. I do not trust them and it could be another scam.

Just got a call from Linda Armstrong works for Stanley Lawhor, she told me that she was giving me a courtesy call before she send my file to civil court and that I can have a felony for check fraud.  She told me that they will give me an extension until february 10 2012, they just need a credit card on file.  That was my red alert cc on file?  I told her that I would call her back, when I did call back to request something in writing, my call could not go through because of system issues.  Right, the supposed number is 678-800-1668, never give our your cc, request something in writing.

If there is a violation of the the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act FDCPA you can get up to $1,000 in statutory damages, plus actual damages including compensation for harassment, embarrassment and frustration.  If you are successful, the debt collector will have to pay your court costs and reasonable attorney?s fees.

Your best option may be to have an attorney help get their attention or pursue claims under FDCPA.  Your state may also have its own remedies for abusive or unfair debt collection.

Mr.Rice called my number looking for someone not at my number, left a message as well as leaving another persons social secirity number as well as a warrant in debt for a bad check??? I called back so advised the man you got the wrong number DONT CALL my number again. He stated he will get a magistrate here to serve a warrant, lol what a joke i work at the court here so come on bring it on. The number that called back on was 678-745-5532. Differant from the number he called from.

After hearing this he hung up fast.

I got this call the other day and called back to see what it was about.  I heard the message that sounded like it was calling from overseas, and then was put back by the "manager" comment.  Somehow I got through to a person, who answered, "hello".  Again what law firm does that???

I received a call from someone named cynthia jacobs from this so called lawfirm. well i called the firm and there is noone there by that name. These people are scam artists. PLEASE dont fall for their trap. They make it seem as if they are legit but they are not. she left 2 numbers to be reached at. (888)999-5510 ext.112. the other is 800-672-5610. anyone can set a fony voicemail and make it seem real. also when i called after hours, the answering service said i could speak to the manager. what real lawfirm says that!!!. what these people do is check to see what names from lawfirms that they can use and go with that.

You just hush...pay them your money! Why would someone pay for something that they didn't borrow?
