I just got a call from this number and caller I.d. came up Valley Thrift Store out of California! I am in Al. Thrift Store my jazz!!! STOP CALLING ME!!

Just called my cel, I declined the call and they left no message. I then blocked their number. Ive got very good credit, so good ridance!

got a call from them 1005am 5/6/14 i am on the do not call list but they don't care, i told them so and so is not me so and so cannot be brought to phone was put on hold for 10 minutes then hung up on without a person

Been receiving calls from this number for about two weeks and they never answer it's very annoying.  

They are calling on a number I have had for over 10 years for some guy I have never heard of. Sad there isn't a way for them to cross reference current phone registrations... Rather than giving an option for me to push a button to remove myself from the calls or an option to get someone on the line, they want me to call them. Seeing the other postings of the long hold time to get through, and personally thinking they are not going to believe I have no idea who they are looking for, calling them is not on my list of "things I want to do". The caller ID says Valley Thrift Store, it is local and I shop there sometimes so I am going to let them know they are having their identity stolen the next time I am out that way. Other than that, I am hoping I can bloke specific numbers with the phone service we just switched to because I don't believe anything else is going to put a stop to it.

I just filed a complaint with the BBB about these jack***es.  Whatever you do, do not talk to them.  That only tells them they have a valid number with someone they can harass.  The best thing to do is answer and immediately hang up if you do not have call blocking.  This can simulate a blocked call.

Be sure to file complaints with official regulating agencies like the Federal Communication Commission (http://www.fcc.gov/complaints) and the National Do No Call Registry: https://complaints.donotcall.gov.

the fcc love people they ask if i was some one else if it a bill collector what are they going to collect some don't know how file or they are double billing

You just don't answer these calls.  Ignore them, and they will eventually stop calling.  The "Do Not Call" list is a joke and no help at all.  It's a scam ... do not answer, and do not give them any information.

Receive multiple calls a day for a person I have never heard of.  They leave personal information regarding this person on my voicemail.  I have even hit the option for notifying them that this is not the person they are calling but they still call.  Is it even legal to leave personal information on a voicemail that does not belong to that person?

the call wasn't even for me but for someone who I thought might have used this phone number for work but nobody here recognizes the name they are trying to get in touch with.  they give me the name of the person they are trying to collect a debt from and say if you are not yadayada then do not listen to the message.  What a farce.

Keep getting calls from number asking to speak with my husband. He doesn't owe anyone. He is very ill and doesn't feel like listening to their (Bull). He told them again and again but they just calling! I just answer, then hang up. This has got to be a scam!

"Nationwide Recovery Services" specializes in "Zombie Debt" so old it's not legally collectible any other way than harassment.  If they ever sent you a collection letter, send them a Certified, Return Rcpt Requested DROP DEAD letter (formats available on the internet). They will have to cease and desist.

Same as everyone else is writing. I get this call at all hours. They don't leave a message or respond when  I try to call back. Could be a medical bill collector, those are the only ones I have.

you told them your name when you pressed 1, I did the same thing and they told me it was a business matter and I asked what business and they just kept asking me to verify my address (they gave me my address). if they know all of this information they are just getting you to say yes to things so they can bill you or send you junk. this is why I hate recovery services (this is what this company is based off my research) if I owe some company they (the company should contact me)

I would like them to quit calling my phone.  It's very annoying
