I have not ordered from them for a few weeks.  So they are a day late and a dollar short.

04-02-2013 @ 9:01 AM, 800-824-6349; TOW FREE CALLER;  This was a robo-call from CVS Caremark, who called my phone number looking for a R. Williams.  Had to listen to their stupid voice-mail machine for several minutes just so I could finally tell them "WRONG NUMBER!"  Never did talk to a "live" person.  What the hell ver happened to good, old fashioned "personal service"?  You would not believe the problems I've had with this stupid outfit!  I noted in "Paladin's" remarks on 4/30/12, that he's had some of the same problems I've had, and his insurance company ALSO forces him to utilize their damn mail order service, which is lousy.  I've had to have them replace my insulin 2-3 times in the past, and it costs them $1,618.00 each time they have to do that.  One time, they even shipped me some pills that belonged to a guy in Oak Grove, MO., which is clear across the state from where I live.  Stupid idiots!!  I always keep a written record of each phone call I make to them regarding any problem I'm having with them, just in case.  Paladin is correct in saying it's a useless service.  I've told them numerous times I could pick up my prescriptions at the local WalMart pharmacy, but not allowed to if I want my insurance to pay the co-payment on my Federal Health Plan.  I've even talked to my health plan, to no avail.  They could care less.  It's use the system, or else we won't pay.  So you're screwed no matter what you do.

I confirm the number is CAREMARK - which is the MAIL-ORDER division  of CVS Pharmacy.
I just started a program to receive 3 months' worth of my prescription by MAIL instead of picking them up at a local pharmacy.
The call I received was an automated female voice advising me that:
1. my prescription order shipped
2. it will arrive by US Mail
3. I (or someone over 18 years old) will have to SIGN for it, or the Postal Carrier will not leave it in the maillbox; but would return again.

Recorded message from CVS Caremark received this morning advising that my prescription has been filled and will be mailed within the next 10 days.  They're either a little late with their message or have the fastest delivery in the world as the medication was in today's mail.

This is a call from Caremark regarding a prescription refill I ordered. I already knew about this refill because I ordered it online from their website. They do this often, call about orders I am already aware of and they call at strange hours. It is a useless service and a waste of time as I am also notified via e-mail. Also, since it is a ligitimate company, why not have their name show up in the Caller ID. As others have said, I too have trouble when dealing with Caremark but since it is the provider my insurance company forces me to use I have no alternative.

800-824-6349 is a Toll Free Call being made by CVS Caremark Prescription service to tell you that your prescription order has been received and will be shipped in 7-10 business days.  I deal with these people all the time because my Federal Health Plan utilizes them for Mail Order Service, which I'm forced to utilize if I want my health plan to pay the co-payment.  Generally, they send e-mails to notify me about my prescriptions.  Unfortunately, I do NOT like dealing with these people.  Every time I call them regarding my medications, or a problem they generated, you have to go through their idiotic voice mail system to get to a representative.  I've told them and my health plan that I don't like Caremark because it's just as easy for me to pick up my medicine at the local WalMart pharmacy, which is less than 5 miles from me.  They spent $25-$30.00 just to ship me 3 pills one time, when I'd already picked up the whole prescription of Vitamin D (6 pills) for $4.00 @ WalMart.  I know because I checked it out with the Post Office on what it cost Caremark to ship a package like I received.  Pills packed with dry ice & stuff.

I get these phone calls.  They are legitimate.  It is from Caremark's mail order prescription plan.  Whenever you order a prescription or they have a problem with your order, Caremark's automated system calls you.

This is a Caremark (prescription benefits plan) number.  For me these are valid calls - they are alerts to tell me if there's a problem with my mail order prescriptions.  They specify my name when leaving a message.  I usually just go online to check my account when I get these messages, mainly because Caremark's telephone support stinks, and the same information is in my online account details.  There's no text saying "Caremark" on my caller ID, but that might be for privacy (private health information) reasons.

If they leave a name and it's not you, then they probably have a wrong/old number on file.  If you call to complain, you might point out that whoever's name this is, Caremark is violating this person's HIPPA rights by continuing to call you.  HIPPA is the federal law saying you have the right to keep your health information private.  Caremark isn't even allowed to share the fact that someone gets prescriptions from them, unless that person signs a consent form specifying exactly who Caremark can share information with.

If it is your correct name, and Caremark is your prescription benefit plan, you can always go online to check your account, instead of calling the 800 number.  There's a "message center" section with the same identical messages as you get by phone.

Couldn't understand who was calling -- sounded like keymark -- about a prescription that was being shipped.  I don't know why CVS/Caremark would call as they usually communicate by email with alerts, prescription updates, etc.  Weird!
