I am getting a call from 800 -828-8465 repeatedly and when i answer the person or machine on the other end hangs up without saying anything.  I want this to stop immediately!

stupid i need this number blocked. i got called 4 times in class today

I receive calls from this number 2-3 time a day and every day after that. I have not called back, but as I can see from the numerous messages from before this is happening more and more.

This number has shown up on my cell phone four times in the past two days. I've never answered it because I didn't know the number and they never left a voice mail so I figured it wasn't important. It's getting really annoying.

This number called me as well... multiple times, and there is no reply when I answer... and they have no shame in calling late at night...

I just got my first call from this number and didn't answer it due to being at lunch.

Did anyone get a call where the girl started to sing as soon as you answered, and then hang up... the phone call lasting not even a minute.... WIERD... they called me once at 4pm and didnt leave a message, then they called me back at 9pm, and sang a song.?? there was background noise as well and the song i believe was by cassie... funny i should know.  But i've been doing research on the number today and absolutly NO ONE has the same situation as i did, with a singing girl.  I hate these calls with a passion!!

I answered got a chick who said I won a chance to win 1 million dollars through Publisher's Magazine Clearinghouse or something along those lines. Although there is no obligation to buy, I need to take a survey and a major credit card is needed to do the survey. She then asked me which provides the best service and I told her I haven't used a credit card in years so I couldn't answer that question. She asked if I prefer other services, checking, debit, cash and I said "cash baby!" Cash is King! She followed up with "thank you very much sir, we appreciate your time and I wish you the best of luck in winning 1 million dollars on February 15th". That was it. I was going to ask her to take me off the list but it was over before I had a chance. Hopefully since I talked to them, they'll leave me alone now. -KaseyK

they called me alot...but thank you soo much mercyful fate i got the number to stop callin me...HOPE FULLY!!!!

These Freaks won't quit calling me and IDk who they are. sometimes they talk when I answer sometimes they just hang up. Who are these guys? It seems kind of fishy to me.

THEY NEED TO STOP CALLING ME.  IF NOT FROM THEM, ANOTHER 1800 NUMBER IS CALLING.

It was a publishing renewal company

"Publishers Renewal Service is the company" yeah, it is a subscriber magazine, a guy called me two weeks ago asking me for a subscription when I said not a girl answering me next. After I said not again I am receiving callings everyday from a machine that never answer. I think this is the way they bug you if you don't  subscribe

How to block these people from calling me? Or at least getting my number off there list

I'm getting calls from these jerks on my cell - I am going to report them to the Attorney General of the state of Texas

3 years ago i signed up with americas readers choice which is another magazine scam. Well i paid my 2 yrs cause they wouldnt let you cancel.. So ever since then they have sold my number to other magazine places saying i need to renewal, so for the last 3 months publisher renewal service have been stocking me and calling me i ignored there phone calls for a while then in december i answered the lady said i need to pay or i will be sent to collections.. BUT i dont subscribe to them they dont even have my social, so i hung up two days later they were calling to "upgrade" my package but im not subscribed so i said how do i get off their list? she sent me to cacelation, and there like there will be a $200 cancelation fee so i yelled at the lady saying i wasnt paying them anything that i dont even subscribe to them, well she hung up on me, and they called me again today, they wont leave me alone

they first called me on wednesday the 11th of 2009 and i picked up i heard laughing and breathing so i hung up. next day they called 4 times and i was in school and i didn't pick up. they called me on friday once and i didnt pick up. SATURDAY THEY CALL ME AT 11:44am I am still sleep my sister picks up the phone and asks FOR ME and she tells them my sister isn't here because i told her not to say my name. Once she got off the phone she said the guy told her that I entered a sweepstakes or won one she forgot. Then he told her he'll call back. If I won a sweepstakes they would have left me a message or something. I AM SO TIRED OF IT

Keeps callling and calling and calling--no message.

They have been calling for the last 6-8 weeks. 6 days a week, several times a day

Called my cell phone twice and when I called it back it was a recording asking to press one if I recieved a postcard, press two if I had a missed call from them on my caller ID, or press three to speak to a representative.  I just hung up because it seemed fishy.

This number calls several times a day and no one answers.

they called my husband's phone and said it was a courtesy call..but didnt say from who or for what (husband was at work when they called)

This number has been calling my cell phone several times a day recently. If I answer there's no one there. If it goes to voicemail, no one says anything. I am also on the do not call list. Very annoying!

Let's call our local phone companies and report them will all of the information we have on them.  We can also file and FBI report on their web site.  FCC could also get notice of this.  If necessary we can approach a government official for assistance such as a Rep. or Sen.  May sound extreme, but with all of the private information these jerks are collecting it could mean identity and financial info theft for many of us.

Harassing repetitive calls , they need to be stopped

This # has been calling me for the last 3 weeks 4 & 5 times a day and even at night when i am trying to sleep until i had to save the # to my phone and put it on no ring so it would not ring anymore when they called.

its annoying they have called me like 6 times today what the heck leave us alone!!!!!! plus the first time they called i missed it so i called back and it wouldnt even ring it was just silent.
