I do not want receive any calls from this company

the guy giving u these tips is a TELEMARKETER! saying "hold on" after a minute the call will end. The telemarketer is not stupid!

Every time you change anything to do with your account at TD these idiots will start phoning again phoning and telling them to eff off only works for about 3 or 4 months at a time and then the calls will start again. Just another reason TD sucks.

I got a call from this numer.  The caller said "I would like to speak to '(used my full name)'".  After I confirmed that it was me, I heard a beep and then the call had ended.

I repeatedly get calls from this number. Don't know what they want.

Oh thanks a lot, I thought it was something important.

one problem... these calls are coming to my cell phone.  So putting down the phone and walking away would cost me money, kind of stupid.

I keep receiving phone calls from 1-800-831-9690.  Never answered before.  Answered today.  The guy knew my name.  Hung up.

Call TD Bank and a CSR helped me.  Found out that the company calling is "Gemma Communications" and they do marketing for the TD Bank.  Their website is: http://gemmacom.com

I called the 1-800-831-9690 back and a message said to leave my name and phone number in order to not receive these phone calls.

Don't want to leave my info with a telemarketing firm.  The TD Bank should NOT be giving our personal contact information about their clients to telemarketers.  It is a terrible business practice.  The phone numbers come up with "Unknown Name" on call display.  Consumers cannot differentiate these telemarketing calls from real phone calls from the bank.

If the TD Bank continues with this practice, I will pull all of my business with them.

I have a thing on my phone that says I do not accept calls from blocked #'s or names and they still get through!!!!!!

I've had this number calling me all week, but why do they call after 8pm. this is getting stupid

I have been getting calls constantly from this number and it is really ticking me off! I won't answer numbers I don't know, and I figured if they wanted to get hold of me, then why the heck don't they leave a message!

Been getting callas from this number for about 3 weeks now...whenever I answer no one says anything.  very annoying

They're STILL calling me on our landline after all these years.  However, I've gotten wise to them now that I recognize their phone number on sight--I no longer pick up the phone whenever they call.  (I'm also similarly wary of picking up the phone when we get calls from other numbers that I don't recognize.)

On top of that, I've started a database in which I log all the calls from numbers such as this, and already we've gotten 25 telemarketer calls since January 25--on average, just over 1½ calls a day.  It's gotten to the point where I've started to become reluctant to pick up even my cell phone when people call whose numbers I don't recognize, even though my cell phone is my business line.

You'd think Bell Canada, or whoever this company's phone service provider is, would *require* that companies such as this allow their company name to show in the call display.  To do otherwise invites cowardice.  (Could it be that the telemarketer's concern for "privacy" is so they can avoid being sued for harassment?)

Thanks, I called it back and FINALLY have them not calling anymore. Not so sure it is such a smart move on TD's part to annoy people by these phone calls...

They called me day and night on my cell. I am so pissed off. HOw can I block this number

I called the number back and a message IDd themselves as a marketing company working for TD Bank which called my number with an offer from TD Bank. The message said "leave a message if you do not want future calls or promotions offered"  I left a message requesting to be taken off their call list.  So thanks to this site I knew that I could do this safely.  We shall see if I get any additional calls but I think this was legit and a very nice way of handling requests not to call.

For the past 2 days I've been getting calls from 1-800-831-9690. Please help me get my number of whatever list I'm on.

getting calls from this number several times a day.. home and at work... if i answer the call no one talks back... so fustrating... I wish there is some one on the other side to talk so that i can tell them not to call again... i tried calling back the number and it telemarketing for TD... seriously this should stop now.

it is Canadian television and telecommunications that ordered to have our cell numbers given to the telemarketers even though we don't want our numbers listed.

They continue to call around suppertime - not sure who it is ... think might be a bank trying to sell insurance ...
