mbna mastercard keeps calling me and noone ever answers my questions as to why they arecalling me

I have received 10+ calls from this number in the last 4 days.

Call received but was already on phone. The fonction "call wait" identify the phone #.

When I trace it, there was a message saying " company from Montréal but pretend to be in Florida?

Genica Marketing's answering machine responds. Their claim to fame is to procure freebee info from you and then sell it to someone willing to pay.

Just called them back and entered my name on thier don not call list list, lets see if it works :)

Have had this number call several times in the last couple of weeks, sometimes twice in the space of an hour and when I pick up no one says anything...it's just dead.

This number has been showing up on my answering machine with no message....getting to be very annoying....

I received a call from this number at about 7.30pm but I did not answer the phone. I called back and I removed my number through their automated service. I think they said it was Gemma Communications (?), some sort of marketing service.

Calls continuously.I imagine computerized and timed-- voices in background-but no voice contact-redialed the number-got for english press 1, then a recording says Gemma communications and something?Fortune 500, and gives a website which you can't access. Is this not harrassment??????????????

I am a MBNA cardholder, and they did call me on legitimate (well, still selling) business.

I do not get calls on daily basis though.

They call 2 to 4 times a day, very frustrating!! How can we stop it?

I've been getting these calls on my phone daily and a few times through the day. I even phoned it from the landline and the person that answered said that wasn't his phone #.

I tried calling the missed call on my phone and it talked about dialling a 1-900 number? How does one get this phone number removed so they cannot call.

Gemma Communications works for Rogers and other such moronic companies. They keep calling my cel lphone which is really annoying because I pay by the minute. Do-not-call list legislation is about to take effect so they are probably trying to squeeze in as many calls as possible before they go bankrupt.

how can this caller be blocked, we just got a new number and received a call from this number with no one on the other end. How did they get our number anyway?

800.831.9702 Unknown Number ... got a call from this number a few times.

They asked me my NAS (Personnal assurance number). Of course I told them this was MY Nas and it doesn't concern them. I'm sure it's an identity thievery. Sorry, my english is not perfect.

I filed a complaint with the better business bureau after calling the company and getting sent to an answering machine which I was supposed to leave my information so I could get 'off' their calling list.

I suggest you all file a complaint against Gemma Communications so that they get the picture and the BBB does something about it.

4 years ago right after signing with Rogers I got calls from this number serveral times a day... tried to get Rogers to stop it, tried to get Gemma to stop it... neither method worked.  I contacted the CRTC and complained.  The CRTC states quite pointedly that your provider (in my case Rogers) is supposed to protect you from these calls... the CRTC sent my comlpaint to Rogers, Rogers called me then called Gemma... Rogers has an opt out of marketing but it only affects their own direct marketing... I have now switch to Telus and the calls have started again... they have f'd with the wrong guy cause I'll go to the CRTC again!

Every day or sometimes 2 or 3 times I get a call I think they use about 4 different numbers. Enough is Enough. The number is 8oo 222 1111 that was twice so far today. It,s something about our credit card. I THINK I HAVE THE RIGHT TO DEMAND SOMETHING BE DONE ABOUT IT. They annoy us everyday. FED UP. Please do something about these calls. Thankyou

I worked at Gemma and yes they do call the same people repeadetly HOWEVER everything they do is LEGAL unfortunately. CRTC Allows companies in which you have an existing business relationship with to call you as much as they feel necessary. You can request to be on the do not call list however that just exempts you from that specific call center and the other call centers employed by said company can still call you until you tell them otherwise
