This company calls saying they need to speak with the person in charge of the natural gas account with consumers lakeshore energy, we don't have an account with them, I had them remove me from the list, we'll see if they call again. They have called every day within the last 2 weeks at least twice or more times per day.

Repeated calls from this company, claiming that they must speak with me about my natural gas account with "Lakeshore Energy."  I do not have an account with them.  I do not have a natural gas account, as I live in a condo community that handles the gas account for the whole community. I called them back and spoke with someone who was identified as a "manager" named "Christina." She said they are a California company. I told her I live in Michigan and do not have a natural gas account with any company (not even in Michigan, since gas is included in my condo community services).  She told me that they are in California, but are calling people in Michigan.  I told her to stop the calls. (The messages are extremely loud and annoying.)  I told her I was on the do not call list and they should not have been calling in the first place.  She verified my phone number (using caller ID on her phone) and she said it would take 24 to 48 hours to put me on their "do not call list."

Actually, you need to contact the FTC for complaints against companies when your number is registered on the Do Not Call List.  http://www.ftc.gov/ftc/contact.shtm

This company claims to represent Consumers Energy as a provider of natural gas. This company first calls using the number: 480 543-1461. If you answer the call, it will iether give you a 1800 number to call ( 1 800 836 6960 ) or hang up. This trick is used so that a seperate company calls and if you are on a no call list, you have no one to tell to stop calling your number. When you call the 1800 836 6960 they immediately deny calling and tell you that you called their 1 800 number. This is how companies like this found a loop hole in the legality of no call lists. The company representing to be a delivery business for Consumers Energy is attempting to sell a contract that last til 2013 and uses the pitch that they have saved customers thousands of dollars in the past year on energy bills. The fact is Consumers will tell you when you call them that they do not recommend giving any information to subcontracting companies like this ones is. Any time you get a call from any business claiming to be a distributor for Consumers,  tell them to take your number off their list and is they call back, contact your state rep or congressmans office and file a complaint with them. The State Attorney Generals office is also a legal option to send notice to companies like this to stop calling...

This Company is a licensed business that is claiming to be the provider of our natural gas from consumers energy. They are asking to sign a contract with them until April 2013 to guarantee rates. This business also uses the number 480 543 1461. DO NOT AT ANY TIME GIVE THIS BUSINESS ANY PERSONAL INFORMATION THAT THEY ARE ASKING FOR. THEY ADMITTED THAT CONSUMERS ISNT APPROVING THEM CONTACTING US CUSTOMERS. Further, this company is not in good standing with consumers energy via a phone call conversation with a consumers representative. It is blatently obvious that Consumers Energy is cutting ties with this supplier and for that reason the supplier is attempting to acquire us customers before consumers sends them packing. ONLY FOOLS WOULD AGREE TO THEM CALLING OUR PHONES THAT ARE ON A NO CALL LIST AND THEN AGREE TO THEIR SALES PITCH....

Lake Shore Energy??

called me today, left number but no answer, they will not stop calling reguardless, even on the do not call list

Same with me! This is the fourth person from this company that calls selling some type of natural gas sale. I've asked twice to be removed from their list, to no avail. If they can't take my name off their list it makes me wonder: Is this a scam?

They have called 2x (Lake shore natural gas) Kind of rude message, asked to be taken off the list. Act like they are a bill collector. I have no natural gas at my residence, propane only.

I too received calls and messages from them saying to call them.  When I returned the call only got a message.  Used names of Lake Shore Energy and Lake Shore Natural Gas and when I talked to them it didn't make sense.  We don't use them as our energy providor and our real energy providor says that this place is not them.
