I used to work for sprint, my wife got a call from this number, it's the biggest piece of crap! Sprint does not call you in this manner. On top of that, my payment is 10 days late for 44 dollars, my balance is 143 and change, this number said my balance is 130, again, the people on this number were wrong. sprint does not go after people like that, policy is either over spending limit or more than 2 months delinquent, this is the only reason they would shut off your phone. DO NOT MAKE ANY PAYMENTS TO THIS NUMBER!!!!! IT IS A HOAX!!!!!

I got that call this morning AFTER paying my bill.  The automated message when I picked up told me that I owed some HUGE amount, and that my phone would be turned off if I didn't pay today, then they gave me the option to put in my credit information.  I too then hung up and called sprint directly. the amount I had payed this morning was correct, the amount the call asked for was TOTALLY wrong.  Sprint told me NEVER to pay something like this, that it must be a scam.  Instead they told me to pay on-line (like I usually do) or after calling their direct number.

Yeah they called me at least 6 or 7 times.  today i finally answered it and they said I was over due.  Then asked for payment info.  I hung up and called sprint through the real sprint number. yeah the amount they said and the normal payment amount that was not even due yet were completely different.
I even called up customer service to see if they were sending these calls and they said no.
Don't give them your info...............It is a hoax!!!!!

Oh yeah, i also tried calling that number from my house phone, and it said that it did not exist.

I also think this is a scam. My bill was past due when I received the call, however I had just made a payment so I don't know why they would call me anyway. I called it back using a phone other than my cell and it asked me to enter the 10 digit phone number where I received the call. That seems a bit srewy to me so I just hung up. Then about a minute later they called the number that I had just called from, they left no message. Weird.

They called me at about 8:45am im in school so I didn't answer. I have Verison. so if its sprint why are they calling me.

Yes, it is Sprint.  Did you see Forbes list of "Worst rated customer service in America?"  You guessed it, SPRINT.

I also do not believe this is Sprint.  I got the message on my cell phone.  I returned the call on a land line not assosiated with my bill in any way.  The only information they asked is for my billing zip code.  I entered the zip code and the recording said I owed $282.42 which is certainly not the amount I owe.

i think sprint requires people to list a landline number in their personal information when they sign on with them.  some people don't have a landline and just make up a number.  somebody probably randomly used yours and their sprint bill is past due.

ummm ... I dont have Sprint or Nextal and never have ... they have no reason to call me ... but who ever it was did not leave a message ...

It is an automated reminder message received from Sprint/Nextel when your bill is past due.

I don't believe this is Sprint.  I no longer have Sprint.  They switched to Embarq in my area.  No past due amount either.  I think it's a hoax.  If they do call you and say they are Sprint, just tell them that you will call back to make your payment and call the number on your statement.

Sprint has changed their policy regarding pass due accounts.  I made a mistake on my payment, left off 29 cents.  I figured no big deal, I will catch it next month, nope, in the past 4 days I have received 2 cutoff notices and 3 phone calls.  Yep, all for a total of 29 cents.  
Guess who is firing Sprint..... me, my contract is no longer in effect and I am going to disconnect all 5 of our phones.

It is sprint letting you know that you pill is past due.

Received two calls before 8:00 am from this number the morning of 6/27/07.  I didn't answer and they didn't leave a message.  I was asleep before each call #@!!!$%^.

Received a call from this number on my cell phone. No idea who it was as they did not leave a message and I do not answer to unknown 800 numbers.
