I live in FloriDUH too and get these kind of nasty responses when I tell them that this debt is beyond the SOL.  These bottom feeders buy up the 15-20 year old debts for pennies on the dollar and then harass the he11 out of you.  I'm sick of dealing with these azzwholes.

I just got a call  from 800 841-3520 telling me it was a Collecting Agency.They told me I had an outstanding Bill at Delray Hospital and I have to pay. The reasaon my address wasn't  correctly on the envelope of the Bill was the answer to my question why  I never recieved one.I also was told it would go on my credit report if I did no pay the bill. I was asked to pay it over the phone, I told them no, my secondary Insurance had to take care of it.  
I checked with the Medical center Billing departement, they had nothing on file.
when I called back to tell them I have reportet them to the police, I was asked why I would do such thing after all Medicare was checking up on me !!!!

I will report them to the Phone Company for fraud and because they used my unlisted number....

They cannot talk to you like that...I had a colection agency talk to me that way...I reorted this to a local law office...they took the case and sued them for $5000.00....guess they wont do that again!!!
You dont have to take that from them,,,you may owe money, but they cant treat you that way....

I received a letter from Collection Information Bureau, Inc. today.  When I called this first time to inquire about this debt they told me it was a medical debt from March 2010.  I then called the medical office themselves to inquire about this so called debt.  The billing department could not find any outstanding balance and forwarded my concern to a supervisor.  While I waited for a call back I read over the letter again and noticed that the letter was addressed to my maiden name, a name that I haven't used in over 6 years.  I called the collection agency back again and this time I was told the debt was from March 28, 2011.  Moments later I received a call from the medical office who told me that I have no balance with their office and that they do not know why I would be contacted by any collection agency.  They also said that they only have my current married name on file.  I have filed a complaint with the state attorney general.  SCAM!

You must work for this company... I called the BBB and there are several investigations into this company for harassement.  I know I do not owe them and never have they been polite... on several occasions they have hung up on me when I dispute the debt.

I received a call from this number also.  My husband and I were in a critical accident in 2003, luckly we had great insurance and most of the bills were paid.  This Woman "Sarah" told me I owed $450.00 to a Radiology group.  She asked me to give her my credit card information so she can resolve the debt,  I was reluctant since I have never received a bill from them so I requested she fax me a statement she hung up the phone.  Sounds like a scam to me!

Dirt bags keep calling all hours of day/night/weekend and trying to collect on medical debts that were discharged in a bankruptcy. How low can you go?!

I received these messages and called back and they do not call me back and have yet to physically talk to someone.  So I researched the number and business info Doctors Business Systems @ 561-588-4598 and Ted Lee @ 800-841-3520 and submitted a complaint to FTC (Federal Trade Commission) https://www.ftccomplaintassistant.gov/,  Should I get a call or every get a chance to actually speak to someone, I will give them my FTC Complaint # and let them take it from there.  I do not have any medical bills in collections.  They have all been paid by my insurance company, so I'm sure they just got hold of information (identity theft) and trying to cash in on it. Becareful everyone, there is resources out there to protect you.  Just take the time to file them.  This is not my first bout of identity theft. As soon as I get a call or email that I am leery of the file a complaint. For internet crime and scams contact FBI Internet Crimes, http://www.fbi.gov/scams-safety/e-scams and file a complaint. Then a funny thing happens I stop receiving those emails and phone calls.  Good luck and be safe.

Out of the blue I received a call from these people to my husband who passed away in 2009, I called them back and asked what debt because I didn't owe anyone anything.  The rude woman said it is a bill from 2008 for a medical bill that wasn't covered by insurance for $73.  I told her I would like a letter showing what it was for as I have paid all the medical bills from that time, she replied "look lady, we're not sending you anything are you going to pay it or not!" I said I don't know what it's for, she said "ARE YOU GOING TO PAY IT OR NOT!"  I got so mad I said "no, I am not!" and she hung up on me.

They call me constantly and ask for Kevin Green.  I have repeatedly called them back and told them there is no Kevin Green here and never has been, that this is a Magicjack telephone number and perhaps he had this number once.  I told them if they continue with these calls, I will report them;  they stop for a few weeks and start calling again!  This has been going on for over a year now!
I wish I knew where to report them to!

I have received numerous phone calls from this number.  They identify themselves as Ted Lee.  When I tried to call them back, I was told to leave a message.  They refuse to send any bills and say that I owe them money for a hospital bill.  They even wanted my credit card number over the telephone.  Yeah, like I would give it them...The bill is regarding a workman's comp issue and they continue to harass me.

I start to receive these calls 2 years ago; I always hang up... I am positive Ted Lee is calling to the wrong person. If you receive these calls, be sure don't live a message (never a "real" person is in another end of the call).

Would not give her last name, refused to cease and desist, said her address too quickly for me to copy it down and wouldn't repeat it.

This is definetly a scam. I got a voicemail from "Ted Lee" saying that this was an attempt to collect debt but never said what company I owed money to. So, i called back and was told that I owe money to a hospital that i had surgery in 3 years ago. The guy kept telling me that if i send a check, that by the time they get it, my credit will be affected. I called the hospital and they gave me the name and number of their collections agency and it did not match the number that had called me. So, if these people call you, don't call them back.

Received a call from your num the rep a Jamaican man informed me that i owed a medical bill, when I told him that it was already paid  do not call back.His response was "YOU BUMBA CLOTH GO SUCK YOU MUMA.. "If you response to this  email I will be willing to translate this for you ..Unfortunately I did not ask for his name it happen so fast,, This man should never be calling anyone he is very unprofessional should be working as a trucker , very nasty for some one to speak to another person in such a manner in regards to a bill..

I continue to receive these calls saying that it is an "urgent business matter" and they leave a case # that you cannot understand.  I have not been able to get through to anyone at the "return" number

Recieved a voice message from Ted Lee at my mother's house. They left a case # which I didn't catch because it was said so fast, I really could not get all the numbers.  I know I owe money to a hospital, but I haven't received a bill, so I am not sure if this is the cause for this call.  The whole message was strange, as if they really didn't want you to catch the case number.

Indeed, a collections agency, apparently for a medical bill.  Same as all of the other posts on this page.  I did not press one but I've gotten calls like these before.  It sounds like an illegal practice. Who knows.

Got a call today. I owe no money, when I called back got a fax machine. Who knows. Sounds weird to me.

I get numerous calls on my cellular phone from this number different times during the day and evening. I have added the number to my "REJECTION LIST" on my cellular phone. So it never rings when they call. They always leave a message with to call "Ted Lee" and leave some case number on my voice mail. Which I just delete. I know this is a collection agency for medical bills. But never recieved any bill from any hospital. The call have been coming for over 6 months.  Does not matter to me, soon I will be going to a new telephone carrier and will have a different number. So thank you Ted Lee.

I found a message from Ted Lee on my uncle's answering machine.  It was an automated message and I was supposed to "press 1" to speek to a person.  They said that it was a financial matter about my account, and then gave a 7 digit number.  They said it really fast, like they didn't really want you to be able to catch it.  I was about to call back when I remembered the internet and googled the 800 number.  It produced two links to this and a similar web site where people compare notes on strange phone calls.  The egneral consensus is that this is a scam.  Others, not me, who have called back and requested more detailed information are hung up upon!  Not the knid of thing you'd expect from a legit bill collector.

My suggestion is to hang up.  And, if the calls keep coming, call you State's Attorney's office and complain about the harassing calls.

Got a call from this company yesterday and again today.  The woman that called today was threatening.

Recieved a call from this number today regarding my wife's medical bills that were paid in full last year. Followed up by calling my doctor's office and they claim they do not do business with any collections agency named Ted Lee. Surprised to see this has been going on for this many years from the same number and it hasn't been shut down.
