received 4 calls from this number on my cell phone number which is on the federal do not call list.  I have not asked for any insurance quotes!!!!

These people have been calling my house for the past hour from about 5 different numbers.  As soon as I block one, they call from another.  It's like some sick game to them.  I have never submitted for a quote from them and have no idea why they are calling.  They are using spoofed numbers and trying to find any way around my Digitone.  People like this need to be fined and taken out of business.  

Called my cell for my mother who apparently made a recent inquiry to Century 21 Insurance. When I asked the person when the "recent" inquiry was made, she couldn't tell me. Then I proceeded to tell her that my mother has been dead for six years and that they need to take my number out of their database and never call again or I would contact my attorney. Ironically, now, I was besieged with phonecalls from other insurance companies and UNKNOWN numbers the same day. This is ridiculous and needs to stop...Class Action Lawsuit.

i have had these people call already 6 times this morning starting at eight forty five. told them each time there is no here by the name of gilda. do they not get it it or what. the third time they waited ten minutes in between and each time had a different person call back all 6 times. the first time they woke me up and to be honest i was not nice. so i am waiting again for them to call me and it has been 20 minutes since the last call. so i am gonna look up info and turn them in and it does not help any of these suggestions to answer then hang up they still call you back or anything else. of they have your number trust me they will call back. annoying people anyways lol

Got 4 calls from this number just this morning. Prior to today I've never been contacted by them. They said they were calling because I had requested insurance quotes online which I did not. Appears to be a phishing scam. I also received emails advising "here are the insurance quotes you requested". I deleted all the emails. Scam.

From other postings on your site, this is possibly AIG or another Ins. company trying to sell flood insurance. I don't answer unknown numbers. It's 10:00 am and they've already called me 4 times in the last 2 hours. Any suggestions on how to stop them?

Just signed up for Yahoo yesterday, and now I am getting calls from insurance companies. Yahoo sold me out! But they say they have the wrong number.

21st Century Insurance! Goodness. First a call from 717-781-8196 just 20 minutes prior -- Esurance stating I requested a quote (nope). And now this one (still nope). I believe I requested a quote from Progessive MONTHS ago... many, many months ago... but that was it. I'm guessing they may have sent my info to other agencies? I don't know. But if I don't answer... calling back 2 minutes later is not going to make a difference. My email has also been blowing up from Esurance and AllState. Le sigh...

I made the "mistake" of requesting a lower auto insurance bid.  " Please people read ALL the very fine print"  Progressive sold my phone ### to everyone that would pay.   State Farm ( was the first to call ) 24th Century (Farmers) second, third, fourth, etc.  Welcome to my Hell......I created it.  
I think I will enjoy giving them back the same hell they give to me when they call.

Went online to get an auto insurance quote. Only typed Auto Insurance quotes in my search box, and hit enter, and this number was already calling me! I didn't even go onto any of the suggested sites and they were already calling! How does this happen?   Now they calling back for the 3rd time in less than a half an hour.

I'm not sure if different states have different policies about reporting calls but you can look online to find out where to report calls after you've requested to be added their DNC list......

I was an "inside sales rep" (telemarketer) for 2 years when I was a kid... During training they made sure we understood what the laws were and where our leads came from. Most sales companies buy info from lead generator services. The more money or net worth a person appears to have (based on public records and paper trails) the more companies will pay for their information and phone numbers. 99% of the time, when a marketer calls you, they already have your name, address, spouse's name, etc. It's all part of the package they buy. Even if you're on the nationwide Do Not Call List, your info is usable. Most companies don"t have to follow it.  The best thing to do is to tell EACH and EVERY company that calls you to put you on THEIR Do Not Call List and make a note of it with the company name, the person you spoke to, and the date. If the company calls you again within a year from that date, they'll be fined. Telling a company to take your number off their call list is NOT the same thing and won't stop the annoying calls.

I'm already on the do not call list. When I went to go search for car insurance quotes they asked for a phone number. I put down a FAKE one, but only the last digit was off. Somehow, somewhere, their tricky system called me within 1 minute of requesting the quote.

I am indeed going to report this number, and I immediately blocked it on my phone.

Did you guys start getting these calls after you got an insurance quote online anywhere?  It seems as though this started happening after I did that.

I have received 8 calls from this same number today and I told them if they call 1 more time I will turn them in to the BBB today. The rep made a snob comment and then he hung up.

The listed number is alternating with 877-690-6084. When I don't answer the first #, the 800# retries. Will put on my blacklist.
