They call everyday and leave no message or call back number.

I have debts and am paying always to the appropriate creditors on time. Yes, I'd been behind after divorce (through which my ex-wife took every penny she could and left me with 100% debt on top of my alimony etc. pmnts every month), but I've been getting calls from the following number every weekday...once on cell and immediately after on my work phone. They don't leave a message so I have no idea why or what it's about.

I got a call from this number and didn't answer. They haven't left a voicemail. If it is a debt collecting company, I'm just gonna block it. I have a 780 credit score and never paid a dime late.

You can block calls on Android phones by using a call blocking app. I block unwanted calls all the time and they never bother me again.

Got a call from Renee Finstad from NCI.  This the number that came up on my caller ID.  However, when I asked for a callback number she gave me 1-877-551-3945 Ext 261107.  I told her before.  Anyone can get info on people and call them up for payment.  My telephone is not secure.  If I owe them money, send it to my bill box!  Stop playing their game!

This is a collection department of American Express who normally sends out settlement offers.

I can not get these people to stop calling. Who are they?

Watch out!  These people are vicious!  They will call anyone and everyone in your state who shares your last name.  They will try to contact neighbors.  They will call your work.  The last place they try is home!  

Nationwide Credit is their name and terrorism is their game!

This company calls my business almost EVERY day looking for someone who is an employee here. I've called back several times explaining that although he is employed here he is not available at this number because this is a -business- line and we do not accept person phone calls. It's getting incredibly frustrating for me, the person who answers the phones, to have to stop what I'm doing to answer an automated call looking for someone who isn't even available. They don't even connect you to a representative they just say "If you are _______, please press 1" and then if you do they say "Hi this is ________, please call us back regarding a debt collection".

If they continue to call I am going to figure out a way to report them because this is becoming harassment & highly disruptive.

This number keeps calling my office phone and a recording comes on asking for "Richard Fuller" and then tells that person to call 800-850-8719. There has never been a person by that name working here. I have tried to call the 800 a few times to get them to take us off the calling list for this person, but no one answers or is says the mailbox is full.

This people just called me so many times this month that I just lost track  of it. But this is a sign that  The end is coming, just repent and pray. Again the end is coming soon.

Send them a Cease and Desist letter. It will take a few days, but they HAVE to stop calling you. Their address is:

I filed a complaint with the FTC regarding this phone number and Nationwide Credit. The gentleman on the phone said that you need to:

1. Get them to tell you their address.
2. Request that they: a. take you off their list as a contact for that debt. b. ask that they send you a certified letter stating that they have removed you from their list and will not be calling you again regarding that debt.
3. File a complaint if they call again with the ftc.gov (which takes 5 minutes at best)

I have several friends who have had the same problems with this same company. File a complaint, so that hopefully they will stop this.

A debt collection service.  Today they left a message that they want to  "verify my medical information" and to please  call back.  Really slick!

We have been receiving calls from these people for the past 3--4 wks.  They identified as being from Mission Wide Credit.  Today another phone # was used: 602-379-2260 saying it was from NationWide Credit.  Today I reported to the FCC, but may have to change our number if it keeps up.  Also, the person(s) calling speak in Spanish and have a South American accent.

I get at least one phone call daily on my answering machine from these people looking for someone who doesn't live at my address.  When I try to call the number back, it just rings and rings.

They are trying to collect a debt I don't have.

I don't know what they are calling about and I don't answer if I don't know the number or name ect. Can you sue them for harrassment?

If they are calling you and say that it is your name they have listed, then SOMEONE or some company reported a late or non payment (I'm not saying that you did this, simply that if you are being called that is likely way).  They MUST have the info on file on who reported you as late/non payment and I would think they have to disclose that to you.  I would try to get that info and then go back to whoever supposedly reported it.

Called every day but did not leave message. I finally called them back and the woman was quite nice- someone not paying their bills apparently gave our home number as his. Real nice, classy.

Harassing me for a debt that I do not owe.  Happened several times over a period of several weeks.  How does one stop these unwanted calls?  I've repeatedly asked them to remove my number from their files to no avail.  I am not and have never been late on payments.

I received a call from 1-800-850-8719.  they called and hung up.  i try and call them back, and it rings once, and than goes to voicemail.

Don't contact The Law Office of Philip D. Stern!  It's a scam!  They work together! Those are the law offices that I've received letters from when Nationwide Credit can't get ahold of me.  They all work together.  This is just a trick to try to get you to call them, tell them you've been receiving calls from Nationwide Credit, they'll ask your name and whatnot, and then they've got you.  You're on the phone, and you've told them it's you... it's just a trick, don't fall for it.

I got a call asking for someone named Nicolas. I could not catch the last name. They said they wanted to collect a debt.

I get calls from this number as well. They call while I'm at school, so I have to be sure to have my phone on silent. I've gotten calls from another collection agency as well who leave messages for someone named Micheal.
