Got a recorded message on a holiday (President's Day) and it said it was Ashwood Financial and was given another number to call back, as well as an option to speak with a live person. Tried to do so, but it hung up. Mentioned no one's names at all

I got a call that sounded very short & curt. "This call is for (gave my full name) re: acct. # (left a 6-7 digit #). Call back at 1-800-851-5736." I will not be bothering to call them back after researching & finding this. I don't have time for this & wished there was a way to block them.

Caller is Rude and will not give company Name or Info about what they want, then usally hang up.

i got an automated recorded voice message

they keep calling it sounds like a scam

this phone nmber called parents house said they were country wide called them selves the work out retention program to help get out of foreclosure, and low and behold it was a SCAM loud and clear scam they got them for 900.00 dollars

They called me and gave us an account number... i called back and they where rude, it seemed like a scam. i called back with a fake account number and pretended to be this person, they told me that i had a debt of 9000 dollars (!) in medical debt. They are scammers

Told me I had a credit card balance from a closed account 21 years ago. They would not tell me any info unless I gave mine.  SCAMMERS

Ignore these numbers.  They are scammers.  If it was legit, a person would call, not an automated voicemail making you wait to speak to a representative! I've been getting this call at work for MONTHS!

i also received a call from 1-800-851-5736, and just want to let people know that they were trying to collect on a legitimate bill of mine.  i had gone to the er in NYC on vacation, and had completely spaced this bill.  i asked them why the recording they left on my machine was so vague and was advised that by law (due to privacy issues) they can only leave on the machine the return phone number and who they are trying to reach.  the woman i talked to told me that because they have no idea who will listen to the message, they cant leave any info that would let someone else know that i had a bill in collection.  the lady i talked to was very helpful and i was able to resolve the bill before it affected my credit.  oh, and before any of you say that medical bills to affect you credit, please do your research.  medical debt affects credit scores just like anything else, if its in collection, it lowers your score.

Received message on answering machine. First time someone said that called to get our SS#; second call with request to call back and left a reference number. No other info provided.

The number belongs to some company called Ashwood Financial which does billing and collections.

I would like to know who this number is:800-851-5736.  They won't leave a message to who they are but the guy was sorta rude when he called me.
