Yeah, I got that too. He got rude and terribly angry when I refused to "verify" information over the phone. Told me I was being illogical ;p

They somehow got my cell phone.  They also have my work phone which they said they got from my wife.  My wife said they did not contact her. They said this phone call was being recorded for quality control.  I said they could improve  their quality if they spoke more slowly and enunciated their words.  They would not tell me what they wanted until they I gave them personal information.  Sorry if you know my phone numbers you know my address.  See ya bye!

They call multiple times a day at my business..... nobody is there when I answer.  I just hang up on them everytime I see the number.  

A gentleman called from this number and asked me to call him back. It is National Recovery Group which is a division of Chase Bank Auto Finance.

It ABSOLUTELY IS A SCAM. DO NOT BELIEVE anyone on here who tells you different. Think about it -ABSOLUTELY both Chase and any of their collection departmentalize already have your account number and your SSN.  The only time they need to ask you forms that info is when YOU call them to verify your identity.

I am involved in a short sale and Chase is my 2nd holder.    As with any bank, nobody talks to anybody else within the organization.  I have sent them documentation of the short sale and the person they're supposed to contact, but they continue to call me, so I just don't answer.  Somebody named Corliss just leaves a message that she needs to talk to me urgently today and leaves her number.  Now, if I didn't know it was Chase already, why would I respond to such a generic message???

just got a call from this number claiming to need an employment verification.  i called the number left and got a "corporate" desk; when i asked to be connected to the extension left on the voice mail all i got was a series of beeps - totally not legit!

I just got a call from them I gave them all the information they wanted. When I looked the number up I got pretty nervous seeing all the scam comments. I just got off the phone with the main Chase number it is in fact the Loss Prevention part of Chase. I am glad I called to be sure though. Now I can relax.

No account or any business with Chase.  Second Chase 800 number to call and harass me at my number (first finally resolved Aug. 18 - Chase Home Finance LLC/Mortgage Collections). Either they need to fix their d*mn dialing system of fire themselves!

No debt to collect on... especially from Chase! No loans to make payments on (not even the smallest type loan. Can't qualify!). Last time these moron's harassed me it was with the 800-848-9380 number! If this is the state ALL our major/national and large banks are in... no wonder this country is being flushed down the toilet! And the govt. tossing out stimulus and/or bail out $ is NOT helping either!

I don't do business (anymore) with the large banks anymore btw... and haven't for a good long time! Yet, these yahoos still try and mess with us! This whole thing s*cks... and s*cks BIG TIME!!!
