How many do you have blocked? I have PhonePower.com they told me the very same thing but when I reached 50 blocked numbers that was the limit and they will not change it....

So the "unlimited number blocking" is BS from PhonePower anyway.

I received several calls today from this number asking if my husband (name) was home.  He gave the name Mike Jones of Jones construction .  When he called again the same day and was obviously muffling his voice I told him to stop calling and I could tell it was the same number and man trying to disguise his voice.  He denied both so I turned this name and number int0 the police for safety reasons.

A woman called and left a message on my home phone that they tried to call me at my work number.  I have only been at this job since late Aug. of 2007.  She left a file # and an extension, 5291.  Is it the IRS?  We do owe them money but we are on an installment plan.

these scavengers bums are known in the field as "Scavenger Debt Collectors". they buy faltering folks debt who are in a bad way because of our National crisis.
In my case, I achieved a major contract, invested significant money for production equipment, now, due to the failed contract not of my fault in the millions by one of the Bankrupt States in the USA, I am upside down some $600,000.00 and now find I have to go through Chemotherapy where each treatment is suppose to cost in the realm of some $200,000.00 each month and no insurance except for the VA.

We get several of these calls each day.  On occation they us the name, "Edna Mae " on the caller id.  The only day they don't call is Sunday!

FMA Alliance, LTD. is attempting to collect a debt I owe to Chase Bank on a failed business Visa account from 2008. I got back on my feet and wanted to settle.  Kashonna, a very nice lady was my first contact,then some putz named "Rick Stone"  (I bet not his real name) got on the call. I got this guy to email me a settlement for less than 45% of what I owed.  They claim 45% was the Chase required cut off,but they are having an aggreate month on the 27th and if I could wire $5,000.00 on a trumped up balance including late fees and legal fees of $13,886.91.Numbers on my cell were 1 218 670 1527 and  I called them back at 1 800 856 0420.  They are out of Houston,TX on 11811 North Freeway, Suite 900.

FMA calls   me at least 3 times a day from this number (866) 284-0139 or sometime from a unknown number looking for a person I do not know have told them so and they continue to call. This is harassment.   Have contacted a lawyer to send them a letter to stop.  Lets see what happens,

FMA DID in fact call my neighbor, an Amish family...got ahold of their daughter and because she didnt know any better she agreed to take a message and put it in my mailbox which has her then committing a crimel; placing an unstamped or addressed envelope in a mailbox. Who do I contact about outing them for this tactic?

Just received a call from them regarding an ex wife!   I gave them her number!
But its sounds like if you put your phone on call forward to the CEO it might resolve harassing phone calls!

The most arrogant individual from a so called collection company, collecting for Sears Roebuck, if these are companies that Sears out sources to don't but at Sears because they have no taste for respectability. Terrible telephone manners.

A woman from this number left a message wanting help locating my neighbor.  I am sure they know where the neighbor lives and they are hoping I will mention something to my neighbor about a collection agency calling about them.  I've read about this tactic years ago - call the neighbor so they get embarassed enough to pay the bill.  This has to be illegal.

I received a call from this telephone number twice about my ex-husband's daughter Anecia Wright.  I have not spoken nor heard from this person in over 13 years.  I've told this agency to stop calling, but they have persisted.

I have now reported them to the "YourCollectionsRight.com" today.  I plan to contact the Chamber of Commerce of the state they are located, Better Business Borough, and contact their corporate offices to inform them of this harrasement.

I pay my bills and have no bill collectors call me.

My parents rec'd a call from them about my a family member of my husband's which has no relations to them. Mr. Washington said that he put them down as a reference and wanted his phone number. This company is FMA Alliance, LTD and their address 11811 N. Freeway, Suite 900, Houston, TX  77060-3241. You need to send them a letter certified mail, return receipt requested telling them to never contact you via phone and legally they are not suppose to call you again. I hope this helps. Received call from this number.  Contacted them and supposed to be the a wrong call.  The person that they were trying to contact used to have my same prepaid number.  I asked to be removed from their listing and didn't happens. Calls continue on coming.  But since I know who are they now, I'll send a cerfied letter and will be ready to proceed with legal action.

This number is on my caller id and I would like for this number to stop calling.  They have the wrong number.

It's weird you people are not using a call (number) blocking services, available from literally all phone companies. My VOIP company ViaTalk.com provides unlimited number blocking free of charge. I see those calls in my call log when I access my account online, but my phone never rings. And I can choose to set a busy signal, or one of available messages for them to hear, like "please never call this number again".

Multiple calls coming from 281-670-1527... recorded message for "adult consumer of household" ... calls will not disconnect until message complete.  Very bad if we should have an out-going emergency call!!!  States an attempt to collect debt (have none) and leaves 1-800-856-0420.  Called this number twice... persons answering are very rude, refuse to remove our number from their calling list even though they were informed our number is on the govt no call list.  Wanna see fire?  Ask for their name and personal phone number so that you can harrass them as well LOL

What does hsbc stand for.  They call me 8-9 times a day . I am a sick man . How can I stop them

they called for my mother the day she was buried and asked me to give them the courtesy of forwarding the power of attorney to them.  the number was 866 822 1300 which is Chase Bank.  and yes like everyone else the calls came in recorded at 1:26 and 3:30 in the mornings on Sunday and Tuesday, respectively.

Maybe if you knew the situation of the people that are not paying their bills not all of them are low life.  My sister & brother in law had credit scores in the 800's, they could walk into a bank and borrow money just on their name.  About 4 years ago a 19 yr old was driving too fast in the snow, went across a 4 lane divided highway and was for the most part hit head on.  Due to the air bags and seat belts, she is very lucky, she received life long injuries but walked away from the wreck.  Because of the doctor bills and the girls insurance not paying she is now in a major financial hardship.  They wish they could live pay check to pay check, right now they are living day to day.  Right now they are dealing  with the calls from debt collectors.  She too was one that thought "why don't these people just pay their bills".  Her life changed in all of 3 seconds ......

I got a phone call from them today at work. I called back worried that I owed something and yes I gave my last 4 digits to my soc and my address to verify that I wasn't the person. But now I am worried that they just stole my identity or something. Can they do that with that info

The call I got says Mae Edna and sinec its three today.

a recorded message greeted me as fma alliance, asking for a name similar to my husband's, but definitely not him....press 1 if you are this person, press 2 to give this person time to come to phone, press 3 if this person is not available.....(of course, no press 4 if this person is someone you've never heard of).....i pressed 1 to hopefully be connected to a person, but instead another recording came on, saying "please call us at 800-856-0420"   so i called them and spoke to a lady who was polite when i told them i had no idea who this person was.....she couldn't bring up a name based on my phone number.....then she finally checked by the name, and found the case file.....asked me if there was an alternate number he could be reached at (after i told her i did not know him), so i explained myself again (never giving my name, nor my husband's, or any other private information about us)......she said she would turn our number over to a supervisor or manager to be put on the do not call list.....we'll see.....the number they originally called from was 281-670-1540 and caller id listed it as blocked name......

You say maybe you people should pay your bills.... maybe you people should get the right number.  You call for someone I don't even KNOW!  I have had this phone number for like 6 - 7 years now.
